Identifying winner and losers in these things is always so tainted with bias, it's not worth thinking about, heh. Pretty weird to have neighbours visiting to watch it, but hey, at least people are caring about the election. I think. Maybe ?

They don't have cable. They are Trump supporters, but they feel like he is not doing well. I can't really tell, it is hard to listen to either one.

Agree with Trump on some things but the way he goes about saying them is awful. You can surely tell which one is a politician.  LMAO

Also.. LMAO at Clinton when she was listing Trump comments that made him sexist (ignoring all the douchebag comments he has directed at males). hwoever one thing wa shilairous when she said he was sexist because IN HER OWN WORDS:"H ebelieves women should Only be paid as much men IF they do work as well as men." HOW IN THE HELL IS THAT SEXIST?

Equal work for equal pay. Isn't that the entirety of the equal rights argument?  COME ON.

But yeah he has said awful things about women. And, men. And, she  has laughed at rape victims. It is a draw.

Trump started wavering around the end. Overall, it was basically a draw; maybe a small win for Hillary.

Well, that was uninspiring. Didn't watch the whole thing as I value my sanity far too much but Trump was RubioBot 2.0 with every question he didn't want to answer while Hillary still seems like a lizard person impersonating a human half the time. If it were a football (soccer) match it would probably have been a turgid 0-0 draw with Hillary having the better run of the play.

(Lol, CNN spent ages talking about birtherism and obama = muslim. Ye gods)

Hillary has all the emotion of an insect, even when she smiles. She came off as rehearsed and fake. But that's her with everything. She did however bait Trump and he blathered on for ages trying to defend himself. As debates go, neither one did very well.

Why?

The Green Party tries to get in on debates and they're forced out every time.

So the important CNN poll after this first debate about who " won this debate  " puts Clinton on 62 % and Trump on 27 %

A resounding victory for the Clinton camp ( yes 10 % more  of the people polled are Democratic supporters but still the overall numbers speak for  themselves )

Well I've had enough of this farce. Trump is repeating the same things over and over and Clinton is copping a condescending little sneer that is just pissing me off. I could not imagine two more unlikable human beings. F--k them both. I'm going to watch baseball.

GD now that you have had more time to reflect on the debate are you prepared to comment on who you think " won " the debate ?

Lets  not look at this from an emotional perspective but rather the overall points raised that are based on facts and real issues. For example the fact that Trump wont release his tax returns, again this is unacceptable and should be heavily criticized  :geek:

I'm not voting for either of them. They are both unfit IMO. As for the debate, after about 40 minutes of it I changed the channel to the Tampa Bay Rays vs. Chicago White Sox game. And then flipped back and forth between that and the football game.

Trump talked only in generalities and repeated the same things over and over. Clinton promised more government, more government after that, and topped it off with more government. From what I watched Hillary Clinton does not have a basic grasp of economics and Donald Trump is just repeating things smarter people told him to say. I don't know who won Bruce.

But I know on November 8 we are all going to lose.
