Rosbjerg Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Distant Worlds: Universe. A complex 4x space strategy, I need a game that helps me concentrate, by actually stimulating the brain instead being mindless fun. This seems to be a good choice - but I'm trying to find it for under 40€ Fortune favors the bald.
Raithe Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 I'll be sliding into Watch Dogs as time allows manana... Or possibly even tonight depending on if they give access at midnight in Europe.. "Cuius testiculos habeas, habeas cardia et cerebellum."
Rosbjerg Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Give a review after a few hours in will ya? I'd be interested in first impressions. Fortune favors the bald.

Azdeus Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 I'll be playing Wasteland 2 and Shadowrun, I'll also most likely be playing Divinity Original Sin, since it seems it will be available at GOG.com and people here speak warmly of it! I will also be playing the STALKER games with their mods, Lost Alpha and Misery 2, waiting a bit to get serious about them due to all the bugs I've stumbled upon. I might play through Witcher 2 again though, because of that damn trailer making me want to play the third game so badly. Civilization, in fact, grows more and more maudlin and hysterical; especially under democracy it tends to degenerate into a mere combat of crazes; the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary. - H.L. Mencken

I was very excited to see this and have been running different classes through the beginning part trying to figure out which route, class wise, I wanna go for the first run.

Nepenthe Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 I have no idea what I'm going to be playing between now and October, but from then on, with DAI, Pillars of Eternity and then Twitcher 3, I seem to be pretty well set into the Spring. Mebbe Wolfenstein, at some point, but it doesn't strike me as a game I'd like to pay full bucks for. You're a cheery wee bugger, Nep. Have I ever said that? Reapercussions

Elerond Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 End of this month there is Divinity: Original Sin (if it isn't delayed yet again), then end of summer there will be Wasteland 2 (hopefully), in September there will be Civilization Beyond Earth, in October there will be Dragon Age Inquisition, before end of year there should be Pillars of Eternity, in end of February of next year there will be Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and hopefully before end of next year there will also be Torment Tides of Numenera. Also Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey, Elite Dangerous, Hero-U: Rogue to Redemption, Planetary Annihilation, Godus and Sacred 3 should all be out in next six to twelve months. 1
Gizmo Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 (edited) Which new games will you be playing soon? Wasteland 2, Legend of Grimrock 2, War for the Underworld, Witcher 3, and Pillars of Eternity. Edited June 12, 2014 by Gizmo

Gromnir Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 wasteland 2 that's it. winter 2014 arguably lasts til march 19, 2015. haven't had beta start for poe as yet, so depending how bet progresses, we could see poe release being as remote as eight or nine months... or more as there ain't no genuine motivation to stick to their projected release date. is not like obsidian gotta meet publisher milestones to get paid for poe. dragon age: inquisition is something we got interest in playing, but for bio/ea's release of mass effect 3, we waited an entire year post release before our purchase. our wait were rewarded with a stable game that were costing us less money and were getting considerable free dlc.
