Volourn
Don't forget she is standing by the Rock who is a 6'5" iron packed wreslter.. almost anyone is gonna look small compared to him. Still, she is on the skinny side but *shrug*. It is Wonder Woman not Wonder Bread Woman. DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250. Orogun01
Has she said anything about preparing physically for the role? I'd say the answer to that question is kind of like the answer to "who's the sucker in this poker game?"* *If you can't tell, it's you.
HoonDing
Why is Wonder Woman in that movie in the first place? It's hard to be upset about that gal when Ben Affleck is Batman. LadyCrimson
Lynda Carter will always be Wonder Woman to me. It's not that I loved the show, really. But she is Wonder Woman in my mind. I saw a 2007 "samurai" anime film called Sword of the Stranger. Despite it's rather predictable nature, I enjoyed it a lot. I even liked the little dog. And the action sequences (and the music) that bookend the film were totally awesome - I could watch those on repeat for quite some time. 1 “Things are as they are. Raithe
Escape Plan Sylvester Stallone's structural security specialist makes a living being inserted into maximum security prisons and then escaping from them to find the flaws and how to deal with them. Then he gets hired to test a black site prison that turns out to have been built according to all of his notes and promptly gets deep sixed there when it turns out to be a setup by some people who don't want him around. He makes friends with Schwarzenegger's fixer character, and suffers the watchful eyes of Jim Caviezel's ruthless Warden and Vinny Jones sadistic guard, along with brief moments with the burnt out doctor played by Sam Neil. Basically an excuse to have Sly and Arnie do a partner up as they figure out how to escape and get payback. They don't push the action, trying to make it more tension and thriller style. It's got good chemistry between the cast, the plot holds together without too much silliness, and even the bad guys don't go over the top campy style like so many can. 2 "Cuius testiculos habeas, habeas cardia et cerebellum." Serrano
Do you mean the comic sequel 2000AD are doing? The first one is called Judge Dredd: Underbelly , if it follows the plan they had for the movie trilogy then Underbelly will be Dredd's origin. I think it will be a good comic but a poor substitute for what the movies could have been. Edited December 7, 2013 by Serrano
PK htiw klaw eriF
I just saw who they cast as Wonder Woman. What are they thinking? Do you mean the comic sequel 2000AD are doing? No, the actual strip Judge Dredd. Walsingham
Finaly got around to watching Dredd. I now have a burning desire to get my hands on trades of the strip. Dredd is collected now in massive volumes. They are pretty good value for money, and let you read in sequence. 1 "It wasn't lies. LadyCrimson
I'm looking forward to Escape Plan when it comes on cable. I wish those two had been in a movie a couple decades ago, but I'll take what I can get. Senior citizen tough guys spouting one liners and trying to pretend they're serious and relevant. Bring it on, baby. Saw that "How Videogames Changed the World" doc. with Charlie Brooker. I liked it and it made me laugh too. “Things are as they are. Woldan
127 hours. Good movie, actually quit deep, emotional and slow-paced at times, definitely not for those who require action a'la the expendables every few seconds to feel entertained. Beautiful scenery, powerful pictures, very good acting. It also features one of the most gruesome and graphic scenes I've ever seen on TV. No joke. 7.5/10 Oh, and now I'm gonna buy a 25 cm sawback knife and never go hiking again without having it in my backpack. Ever. Edited December 8, 2013 by Woldan I gazed at the dead, and for one dark moment I saw a banquet.

Watched 2 movies today: 2 Guns (Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg). Decent movie but nothing great. Denzel and Wahlberg work pretty well together. Classic good cops, crooked cops, and robbers movie with the mandatory end of movie gun fight over a huge cache of money. World's End (Simon Pegg and Nick Frost of Shaun of the Dead) - Worth a view. Pegg and Frost are great again. Edited December 9, 2013 by kgambit
Oerwinde
Is Nick Frost supposed to be the best character in ever movie he and Pegg are in, or is that just a coincidence? 2 The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity. Walsingham
Is Nick Frost supposed to be the best character in ever movie he and Pegg are in, or is that just a coincidence?
