TSBasilisk
A few details off the top of my head: The aim is somewhere between the new XCOM and a digital version of the boardgame. They do not want this to be an FPS. Asynchronous MP will exist; some abilities, like rolling back the enemy's movement, will not work there. Synchronous MP is possible, but still a ways off. Expect to die 3 out of every 4 runs, if not more. PC is primary platform, with any ports produced being downscaled from the PC version. Cross-platform play is an aim. Azdeus
That sounds awesome, I just got the site back as you posted, so thanks! Read through the interview, and I'm positive about what I read. Good stuffs! Civilization, in fact, grows more and more maudlin and hysterical; especially under democracy it tends to degenerate into a mere combat of crazes; the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary. - H.L. Undecaf
Speaking of WH40K: Details emerge on Space Hulk turn-based tactical game Very much looking forward to this. Hurlshort
Speaking of WH40K: Details emerge on Space Hulk turn-based tactical game I was a bit confused by the interview, why didn't they mention Chaos Gate at all? It's not like this is the first Warhammer game done up like Xcom. I'm excited nonetheless, Chaos Gate was a blast.
Azdeus
Mmm... Chaos Gate, good stuffs. I played it a little bit before I got my hands on Jagged Alliance 2, so I sadly stopped playing it. I do remember the soundtrack being exceptional though. Oh, and Ultrasmurfs... Frigging Ultrasmurfs. BruceVC
Guys great news, Metro Last Light is scheduled for a May release . Yaaaaaaay. Its good that the intellectual property of THQ has not only getting bought but also being completed. Metro 2033 was the best post-apocalyptic survival game I have ever played. So this game will be a must buy for me http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2013/03/01/mayday-mayday-metro-last-light-releasing-in-may/#more-143967 "Abashed the devil stood and felt how awful goodness is and saw Virtue in her shape how lovely: and pined his loss” John Milton "We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” - George Bernard Shaw "What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived.
