Hurlshort Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 wasn't Zork a text-adventure game? It's also pretty much the original blockbuster computer game.
Syraxis Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 So wait, Call of Duty Black Ops includes Zork? I might just have to buy my first Call of Honor game since the third one. But is it longer than 5 hours?
HoonDing Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 But is it longer than 5 hours? Zork may be longer than Black Ops. The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.
WorstUsernameEver Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 But is it longer than 5 hours? Zork may be longer than Black Ops. Clever design. Now the replay value is guaranteed!
GreasyDogMeat Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 So wait, Call of Duty Black Ops includes Zork? I might just have to buy my first Call of Honor game since the third one. But is it longer than 5 hours? Yes! It is 6 hours! (Seriously, it took me six and a half hours to beat on normal yesterday!) Yeah... CoD is still a short game... so if your only interest is in the single player you might want to either just rent it for a great weekend or wait till the price comes down. The MP has a few new features, one of which that I really like is the ability to play against bots. It is seperate from playing with people, so you can't level up and then go play against people. Its great for folks like me who are mediocre/suck at CoD multiplayer and just want to explore the maps and get used to things.
funcroc Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 It's official: ZeniMax acquires MachineGames ZENIMAX MEDIA ACQUIRES EUROPEAN STUDIOMachineGames
Enoch Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 But is it longer than 5 hours? Zork may be longer than Black Ops. If you know what to do, you can finish it quite quickly. But if you're going by experimentation, well, it's going to take a looooooong time.
Pidesco Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Jerk Gustafsson? I never saw that name when I was in Sweden. "My hovercraft is full of eels!" - Hungarian tourist I am Dan Quayle of the Romans. I want to tattoo a map of the Netherlands on my nether lands. Heja Sverige!! Everyone should cuffawkle more. The wrench is your friend.
Starwars Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 I live in Sweden and even I never heard of that name. Jerker however, but not Jerk. Could be a mistake. Otherwise... poor guy. Listen to my home-made recordings (some original songs, some not): http://www.youtube.c...low=grid&view=0
Tale Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 (edited) Some UK retailers are threatening a boycott of games that use Steam. http://games.slashdot.org/story/10/11/11/1...-of-Steam-Games Was wondering how long it would be until this started. Considering how US game shops have started minimizing PC game exposure as it is (presumably due to inability to do second hand sales), I don't see this threat having too sharp of teeth should it be tried here. Edit: I linked Slashdot because that's where I got it from and like reading comments. Kevin Butler will awesome your face off.
Humanoid Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 If US prices drop from $60 to $40, Aussie retailers will probably drop it from $120 to .....$110. L I E S T R O N GL I V E W R O N G
Nepenthe Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 If US prices drop from $60 to $40, Aussie retailers will probably drop it from $120 to .....$110. Nah, they'll make some BS quote about exchange rates and move it to 140. You're a cheery wee bugger, Nep. Have I ever said that? Reapercussions

To actually get the full experience you will need to fork out over $100 per game. Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!

Malcador Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 In that case, I'd pay for the core and then get the dlc's reloaded. Why has elegance found so little following? Labadal Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 I have read rumors that Two Worlds II Ps3 might get cancelled altogether, **** if that is true. I want my damned game, and I will not buy it on PC becuase it is six years old and couldn't even play NWN2 properly.
sorophx Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 selling your ps3 and upgrading your PC would be the next logical step Walsingham said: I was struggling to understand ths until I noticed you are from Finland. And having been educated solely by mkreku in this respect I am convinced that Finland essentially IS the wh40k universe.
Labadal Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 A PC upgrade will have to wait 'til next summer. And there are too many PS3 exclusives I have yet to play. Maybe I have to investigate the Xbox 360 version. If I could enjoy Risen on Xbox 360, Two Worlds II should be no problem.
WorstUsernameEver Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 If you have both consoles, I don't see why you would have gone for the PS3 version anyway. It's certainly going to be the version that gets the shaft, regardless on whether it'll come out or not.
