This does more for me then the trailer.

I'm trying so hard to not repeat the mistake I made with Invisible War and not get my hopes up, but it's kinda hard. I really hope Eidos Montreal delivers.

Communication difficulties, I heard. The art assets were made by a russian developer, and there were big problems to coordinate the whole thing.

I remember being excited for the game way back when it was announced and disappointed when I heard it was canceled. It's cool to actually see it in action. Thanks for the link

I agree. Looks pretty solid, I wonder why it was cancelled?

The people at the top got paranoid that the game will somehow bomb.

Blizzard did the same thing with Starcraft: Ghost. They just don't want to release anything that isn't going to be huge.

A better idea would've been to remake Severance: blade of darkness and make it co-op. It's kinda the best hack 'n slash fantasy game of all time.

The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.

So what Brian Fargo said about a project for Bethesda wasn't a joke...

Unfortunately it sounds as generic as possible. :ermm:

My gaming magazine actually teased us with a "big surprise" for their latest issue. Then the Editor in Chief of the magazine said that the surprise wasn't so "big" after all. It turns out they were talking about the next Brian Fargo game, and were quite surprised to see a dungeon crawler instead of the awaited Wasteland 2 :o The Editor in Chief nearly cried :sorcerer:

Hunted: The Demon's Forge - a new project from inXile and Bethesda

This, sucks.

Reminds me of the scrolling beat em up games from the arcades. These people talk about coop gameplay as though its something new and not something practically every arcade game had.

Strangely unambitious for Fargo.

Yay! Another game that I won't be renting or borrowing. Thank you EA for finally killing the legacy of Tiberium Sun.

On a related note, I wish relic good things for their crap of editor (for singleplayer / scripted mission purposes) They (or GW not sure) are so insistent on controlling story related creations that the friggin editor has a lot of features and code ripped out for mod scene release. Another dead game for modding purposes.

Same goes for Supreme Commander 2 with it's disabled editing features (the game checks and doesn't start if you have hard code legal (file system wise) mods). The game itself sucks (despite lots of units and detailed maps it feels small, sp is also horrible) but I had hopes as the game as it stands is perfect for a MechWarrior (or Heavy Gear) style Rts. Oh well.

So I am still stuck waiting for SC2 and mucking around for UDK. Oh joy...

IG. We kick ass and not even take names.

It seems that all the major publishers are going to try and blitzkrieg this DRM into the status quo.
