Flouride Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 Aye, good stuff. Also it seems like there's atleast few internal titles in the work Hate the living, love the dead.
Raithe Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 Ah, all good to whet the appetite more.. "Cuius testiculos habeas, habeas cardia et cerebellum."

Starwars Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 Yeah, those are good interviews. And it will be really interesting to see what other stuff OEI has in the works as well. New Vegas we know about, but it hasn't been shown off yet. And then the other stuff using the Onyx engine. lasthearth Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Wow, Avellone actually said this about comparing AP to ME: "Sure, I think they
Sannom Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 New interview : http://grupo97.halconesrojos.com/index.php...elloneinterview I wish people would focus those questions more on the actual game than on Chris' opinion on everything going on in the game industry! Come on, it's an interview about the game, please try to have more than the third of the questions dedicated to it!
Mr. Fob Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 The Bond vs Bauer vs Bourne story is truly hilarious. Good stuff over all, can't wait to get the game.
Anarchosyn Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 The Bond vs Bauer vs Bourne story is truly hilarious. Good stuff over all, can't wait to get the game. True 'nough... However, Derek Flint could take all three... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_Like_Flint
Sannom Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Weren't we promised more promotion material for Alpha Protocol at the beginning of November? What's up with that?
Seraphael Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 It's probably going to drown in DA:O and later ME2 stuff anyway. I suspect the level of interest for Alpha Protocol is so low, Obsidian is better served with holding back and then build momentum a few weeks prior to the release. Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.
fastpunk Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Obsidian is better served with holding back and then build momentum a few weeks prior to the release. Agreed. It's probably wiser to build up for a media blitz in the last weeks before release. AP's current release date is in a rather quiet time of the year anyway (not that many game releases in late spring or early summer), it will not have much competition. Got Final Fantasy 13 due in March, and given track records, it's entirely possible that ME2 and Splinter Cell (who I suppose are Alpha Protocol's biggest competitors) will both be delayed to around about that time. Bah.
fastpunk Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Got Final Fantasy 13 due in March And Alpha Protocol is due May 31, according to Amazon. There's plenty of time between the two to not cause friction. ...it's entirely possible that ME2 and Splinter Cell (who I suppose are Alpha Protocol's biggest competitors) will both be delayed to around about that time. Those are two big MAYBEs. I don't rule out the possibility, but there's little evidence that this will happen. Zoraptor Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 The dates are all over the place, the retailers have probably been given a vague Q2 2010 timeframe. I've seen dates from late March to June depending on what source you check.
Raithe Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Yes, it's all a big conspiracy plot to have widely different dates showing to confuse the hell out of people... "Cuius testiculos habeas, habeas cardia et cerebellum."

Sannom Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Not the most exciting news, but apparently new pictures of the game were given recently : http://www.jeuxvideo.com/commentaires/9-0-...tm#commentaires Okay, the image of the Russian mob boss still bugs me : is that real, or is it photoshoped? I mean, he looks almost "real"
Zoma Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Its real. Its shown in one of AP's trailers though I can't remember which one.

Sannom Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 They have more time to polish the graphics perhaps? I saw recently an old movie of Mike slamming Gregory's head on the bar, I think you can really see the difference with the most recent ones, both in animation, design, and ambiance (in the last one I saw, people in the background actually reacted to the slamming).
Alvin Nelson Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 We've been tightening up the graphics on level three. Let me get back to sleeping. I'm tired... Avatar made by Jorian Drake
