October 15, 200916 yr I need info on how the single player game shapes up. Story, dialogue, towns, shops, characters etc and so forth. If its 99% running around shooting things, it will need to do that really well before I'm willing to pay full price. Notice how I can belittle your beliefs without calling you names. It's a useful skill to have particularly where you aren't allowed to call people names. It's a mistake to get too drawn in/worked up. I mean it's not life or death, it's just two guys posting their thoughts on a message board. If it were personal or face to face all the usual restraints would be in place, and we would never have reached this place in the first place. Try to remember that.

October 17, 200916 yr I just heard about this game. If the singleplayer component is ok (like Diablo2's was), then I might like it. Certainly looks amusing. Still gaming with my 9900k/2080ti/32 ram. One day I suppose a game may inspire me to finally upgrade. Maybe.

Deus Ex would be a WRPG/FPS hybrid, while Borderlands is more of an ARPG(hack and slash)/FPS hybrid, focusing on the loot and multiplayer aspects instead of the story or characters.
October 17, 200916 yr My neighbor has a flashed console, so I got to play it a little last night. Loved the music(very mark morganish) and towns, dialogues are ok. Story just works, nothing too exciting. There's a ton of different guns, really cool. Overall it's pretty much what a fallout action-rpg should be. Edited October 17, 200916 yr by vault_overseer

October 20, 200916 yr How does a game get 7.4 for story when the reviewer just got through saying there really isn't one? Because there are sidequests and there probably is a main quest as well. Those probably have stories or maybe they're really mundane. Usually games with absolutely no stories at all (basically things like WiiFit Plus) skip the story rating in GT reviews. October 21, 200916 yr story might also include things like character and dialogue, so even though there is no main "story" the characters and dialogue make up for it to the point of a 7.4? im just guessing, i know nothing about that site i really just want the game for the splitscreen, i love splitscreen coop games that dont suck.
