Tigranes Posted September 7, 2008 Share Posted September 7, 2008 I've watched very few intros which made me 100% sure that I was going to love it. Fallout 2, and Diablo 2. FO2 needs no explanation; D2 simply knew what it was, a series of in-game FMVs, and performed that role to a level of perfection I have seen hardly matched. It has its own story so you want to keep watching, it has amazing voice acting, it had great graphics and animation for the time and it was well paced and never too long. Blizzard sure knows how to do things right for what they are. Jaesun Posted September 9, 2008 Share Posted September 9, 2008 I loved NWN2's intro. I thought it was pretty cool. I still love BGII's intro as well as the Fallout's. But if I HAD to pick "Which introduction to a game has left the biggest impression on you?" I'd have to say Fallout. In that for an RPG it completely set the mood, feel, look of the setting the player was about to embark on. (BGII I thought did this also very good). Sadly most games lately just go for flash and coolness... but don't do anything to help set the mood\feel\look of the game.
