A well casted movie that was interesting to say the least. I think it lost out in how much sex is used in everything today, but a good piece by any standards.

People laugh when I say that I think a jellyfish is one of the most beautiful things in the world. What they don't understand is, I mean a jellyfish with long, blond hair.

I saw that on terrestrial in the States. I can't say it really impressed. I was listening to LIving colour doing Sunshine of Your Love, which is from the True Lies soundtrack. I wonder how that's held up.

I recently wathced THX 1138. I personally think it's one of the best sci-fi films I've seen.

I just finished The Key To Time boxed set this weekend. It has its ups and downs.

 

Ups:

The Pirate Planet (the one by Douglas Adams)

The Stones of Blood

The Armaggedon Factor (6 episodes long instead of the usual 4, as well)

 

Downs:

The Power of Kroll

 

3 terrific serials, 2 simply good serials, and 1 serial that I will probably never watch again if I live to be 200.

it's a pretty overrated crappy film

There was a time when I questioned the ability for the schizoid to ever experience genuine happiness, at the very least for a prolonged segment of time. I am no closer to finding the answer, however, it has become apparent that contentment is certainly a realizable goal. I find these results to be adequate, if not pleasing. Unfortunately, connection is another subject entirely. When one has sufficiently examined the mind and their emotional constructs, connection can be easily imitated. More data must be gleaned and further collated before a sufficient judgment can be reached.

3:10 To Yuma. Christian Bale puts in a decent performance, but I found this show to be kinda boring.

A great film, but it kinda makes Snatch look a bit worse (which was also a great film) due to the fact that they are so alike.

I thought smoking aces was actually pretty good. Despite that crazy black chick going ballistic and other nonsensical stuff it was a nice watch.

 

I wasn't a big fan of Smokin' Aces, although I enjoyed Ryan Reynolds and Ben Affleck getting shot early, but I really enjoyed Shooter. I thought they did a great job of trying to go for sniper realism, and the comedic relief guy was great.But then again, I don't take my action movies too seriously.

The story seemed too ridicules to me. The acting was good and the "sniper realism" was bad ass. Loved the head shots.
