Ally or blood thristy lizard gnawing my head off?

HA!

:joy:

Murphy's Law of Computer Gaming: The listed minimum specifications written on the box by the publisher are not the minimum specifications of the game set by the developer.

At complete minimum settings, I get .5-1 FPS at the docks.

Zoom into the shots until they cover the full screen in order to see the graphics I get on screen.

Unbelievable.

If your computer is so crappy with this game why are you even bothering to play it?

1) Don't give Neeshka the awesome Elven Mithral. Keep it for yourself.

2) What about running windowed mode with a lower resolution?

Just what I needed, another forum to keep up with.

Heh, thats what I was thinking. Either the computer is not up to spec, he has a big dirty virus or something eating up processes or its a dodgy copy of the game... like maybe pirated.

This post is not to be enjoyed, discussed, or referenced on company time.

1. Ive already stopped playing the game.

2. I own an original preordered limited edition copy.

3. My computer has no viruses, has no background processes, and meets all the minimum requirements.

4. Lots of people are having the same problems with the game as me.

Maybe you have corrupted cd?

Lots of people? That's an exaggeration. It's probably about 1%.

3. My computer has no viruses, has no background processes, and meets all the minimum requirements.

Obviously not.

Question: Is this the minimum requirements that Obsidian gave or what Atari printed on the box, because the two are not the same.

You're using a lap top are you not? Not exactly a game machine.

Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.

@ Wistrik - that's a nice swashbucklin' pimpin' hat, there. :D

Heh, it's the only magical version of the swashbuckler hat you can buy. I can't remember which merchant I got it from, but it was in Act 1. I don't care much for how helmets look so I wear the hat instead. Plus since I'm wearing full plate, taking the hat off replaces my character's head with a really ugly full helm that doesn't even exist. Ugly bug that one.

My specs:

256 MB Radeon 9800 Pro

Pentium 4 3.2 ghz

1 GB RAM

Yeah, but its sort of a gaming laptop.

"Lots of people? That's an exaggeration. It's probably about 1%."

99% of made up numbers are wrong.

DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.

You speak truthiness :)

Glek was hit in the groin for 124 hit points, his days of fatherhood are in question as he is laid out flat on the ground.

Maybe the scars will make good party talk.

Not with a 9800.

Back in the old days it was.

Trying to play a modern game on a video card that was made for the "old days" is silly.

Why of course it is. Upgrade is your friend.

And that is why I will not game on a laptop. Laptops are very limited in their upgrade potential.
