BTW, does anyone have any hints on drawing eyes? I'm trying to break away from the huge glassy manga eyes for something more serious, much like Aimo's, but am having some trouble. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's all in the shape; you can draw the eye just like you'd draw the "normal" manga style, but keep it 'narrow' to the point where width becomes noticeably greater than 'height' of the eye. This is common trick to imply the character is an adult, which in turn conveys more 'serious' theme... check gallery for something like Cowboy Bebop, and take note of eye shape they use... or heck, even Aimo's drawings for that matter ^^;;

yeah, I've studying Aimo's art for a while now. I think I'm making a bit of progress, not much. Thanks for the help, I guess I just need practice.

ive also have been learning from aimo's drawings. i have improved greatly since my first jedi. so keep up the good work aimo !

Anyway, you're here for the goods, not the random ramblings of a burned-out intern...

 

...So, I was in a KOTOR chatroom when I told my friends of this musing I had that perhaps Younger Malak fancied Younger Exile during the Mandalorian Wars. And perhaps when Younger Revan used Exile as her pawn to place the war in her favour causing the latter to eventually suffer and be exiled from the Jedi Order, Malak's anger against his 'Master' was further compounded until that fateful day when Bastila's Jedi Team boarded Revan's vessel.

 

Here are some rough sketches I did with that idea in mind...
