Visas: I got influence from her from refusing the extra 2000 from Saedhe (sp?) for the atmospheric sensors (took the 3000 instead of 5000; needed the LS points) on Dantooine.

Posted

Kreia: Gained influence by talking to Tarn (the grumpy mechanic on the landing pad at Dantooine). When he complained about nothing working, I got an [Awareness]: conversation option which basically asked about the problems he had. Kreia chimed in that this was good; it's easy to manipulate the weak by catering to their ego (paraphrase).

Effects of higher influence:

Visas- gain the force sight ability

Kreia- plot stuff and exp

Hanharr- he gains +2 to strength and -2 to int. If you learn his lesson and talk to kreia you gain +2 to strength and +1 to con

Go-to- get him to explain what he is and gain 2000 exp.

T3- gain ability to meditate with him (regain force power) and restore connection to the force

HK- gain some (unspecified) bonuses to stats and will saves

Bao-dur, Disciple, Mira- can turn them to jedi

Handmaiden- can turn her to jedi and gain the battle precognition power (passive)

Atton- can turn him to jedi and improve will saves (the latter may have nothing to do with influence)

Mandalore- don't know yet

Hmm... I'm having trouble influencing Bao-Dur. I get to the point where he says he's happy he found me again, because I was at Malachor, but no matter what dialogue options I take, I seem to not gain influence, and not be able to convert him into a Jedi. Did I miss my chance?

Also, what Jedi classes were each turnable one supposed to be?

Um, just thought I would post some Disciple/Handmaiden influence charts and

Mira and HK-47 influence charts (including places). Hope this helps. (In order: Disciple, HK-47, Mira, Handmaiden). It's a long post and a bit sloppy, but bear with me. And, I hope that these influence spots help out in your gameplay experience. (I also found that I was not able to get influence w/ Bao-dur after saving the Mandalorian [the first time], and the only other member I had in my party was Mira - and as far as I know, she is not affected by what you decide to do to the lone Mandalorian. Glitch, perhaps?)

DISCIPLE

What you Get: Disciple can become a Jedi Consular with a good Influence.

And the ability to meditate with him and restore your Force points (when not engaged in combat)

Lowdown: However his alignment looks, he likes the Republic and the Jedi,

so in conversations all your responses need to be supportive of

both.

< NAR SHADDAA >

- Docks - Takee Kreia and one other companion (Atton, Bao-Dur,

Disciple or Handmaiden) and complete the Lootra quest to the Light

Side, such that she is rescued. Return to Lootra with Kreia and the

other person, Kreia gets mad, but doesn't lose influence. Keep

defending your actions here, and say that "Say what you will, but

if it meant your life, there is nothing I would not do... for you,

or any of my allies." Disciple says "thanks" and you get

influence.

- Refugee Area - Convince Hussef, the refugee leader to give up

to the Exchange (which requires that you also convince Nadaa to

sell herself to slavery, and kill Geriel). Then tell him "I share

your regret..." to gain some influence.

< ONDERON >

- Dxun - Find the Mandalorean trapped up on the ridge, help him

down, then promise not to turn him in for influence.

- Cantina - If you give one of your "Open" starport visas to the

Republic spy, Xaart, Disciple will be impressed and give you

Influence.

- Merchant District - Give an open starport visa to Terlyn, the

mother near the entrance to the starport for influence with

Disciple.

- Merchant District - Use Force Persuade to prevent Ponlar's riot

in the town to gain influence with Disciple.

\__________________________________________________________________/

HK-47

What you Get: Gaining Influence with HK-47 gives you numerous upgrades to

your own stats and abilities, as he gives you the tips on

"how to kill Jedi," which proves quite useful to you.

Lowdown: HK-47 is the easiest companion to understand, and if you are

playing Dark Side, the easiest to gain influence with. He responds

favorably to every Murder you commit , as well as any violent and manipulative response you come up with. His conversation options don't give influence,

except when you try to end the conversation the first time, he

stops you, then you say: "The next person who prevents me from

leaving when I say the conversation is over is going to die. Now

let me go, or else." for positive influence.

Every option that gains you influence with HK-47 is Dark Sided,

except for the Onderon Checkpoint Guard [Force Persuade].

< DANTOOINE >

- After leaving the Crystal Cave after meeting with Vrook the

first time, talk with Azkul, hear his plan, then say that "I'm

not interested" followed by "Die, mercenary scum!" (this line

also loses influence with Kreia)

- It's probably a glitch but there is one Light Sided way to gain

Influence with HK-47. Showing compassion to Akkere on Dantooine,

just as you might get Influence with T3-M4, also gets it with HK-47.

What he says sounds like he disapproves, but the result is a gain.

< ONDERON >

- Dxun Jungle - Like Hanharr, if you kill the lost Mandalorian, HK-47

will be delighted.

- When you instigate the riot in the Merchant Quarter by supporting

Vaklu, HK-47 relishes in the carnage.

- Docking Area - Use [Force Persuade] on the guard to get into the

city, and say "It's inside a city, HK, otherwise..." to gain some

easy influence.

- Cantina - Like Hanharr, after meeting Master Kavar and

being interrupted by Tobin's soldiers. Tell him to kill 'em all

for some influence.

< TELOS STATION (UNDER ATTACK) >

- The wounded soldier that you find in the Telos Station Entertainment

Module during the Sith attack gives you influence towards HK-47

if you provoke him to attack you and you kill him (instead of

healing him and having you follow him).

\__________________________________________________________________/

MIRA

What you get: Get enough Influence and you can train her to be a Jedi Sentinel.

Lowdown: Somewhat like Handmaiden and Bao-Dur in that good responses will |

generally yield results that you want.

The best way to get Influence with Mira is to get her to "argue"

with you, but this requires an 11 Awareness. Ask about why she

doesn't kill, follow the Awareness line and she argues with you,

then shuts up. Follow up on that, and watch the Influence fly!

< DANTOOINE >

- Near Khoonda - Show compassion on Akkere, the sullustan droid

merchant to gain influence with Mira.

< ONDERON >

- Merchant District - Approach Anda after siding with the General

at the crowd, agree to help her remove the three guard captains

and Mira will talk about it, then tell her that the credits are

hard to ignore to gain influence.

- Dxun - The bounty hunters that crash land and blame you, there

should be an option that let's you say something about her being a

real bounty hunter, she says she doesn't need your patronage but

you get influence.

- Cantina Area - the Twilek bounty hunter that attacks you talks

trash to Mira. You can stick up for her with "I won't let you harm

my friend" for influence.

- Merchant District - When the riot on Onderon starts, if you

decide to do not side with any group and just stand around

watching npcs kill each other for cheap laughs, Mira will agree

with your choice and give you more influence.

\__________________________________________________________________/

HANDMAIDEN

What you Get: You can get her to become a Jedi Guardian once you defeat her three times, and with a high Influence. You learn some pretty spiffy moves too.

Lowdown: Handmaiden is a good person, and likes you to be good as well.

That said, she has surprisingly few times when she comments on

your actions. Most of her influence is won in conversation, and

then you get the most by sparring with her and winning. She will

also comment on Visas when she joins, however, you can only lose

influence there, or stay neutral, there is no way to gain on that

one.

< DANTOOINE >

- Crystal/Kinrath Cave - After finding Vrook in the cave (which

happens after not finding him in the Enclave sublevel), leave the

cave, listen to Azkul's offer and turn him down to gain

Influence.

< NAR SHADDAA>

- Refugee Area - Heal the sick man, just like with Bao-Dur or

Atton. This only triggers if both of the others are not present.

- Main Area - Get rid of the Thugs hassling the guy who tells them

that you have his credits, then let him go free. This gives some

influence with Handmaiden.

Keep

defending your actions here, and say that "Say what you will, but

if it meant your life, there is nothing I would not do... for you,

or any of my allies." Handmaiden says "thanks" and you get

influence.

< ONDERON >

- Dxun Jungle - Like with Bao-Dur, save the Mandalorian at the

permacrete ridge, then say that the war is over to gain Influence.

This only triggers if both Bao-Dur and Atton are not present.

- Cantina - If you give one of your "Open" starport visas to the

Republic spy, Xaart, Handmaiden will be impressed and give you

Influence.

- Cantina - When the meeting with Kavar goes bust, Handmaiden will

ask you to make sure not to harm anyone in the cantina. Agree with

her for Influence.

- Merchant District - Give an open starport visa to Terlyn, the

mother near the entrance to the starport for influence with

Handmaiden.

- Merchant District - Use Force Persuade to prevent Ponlar's riot

in the town to gain influence with Handmaiden.

I see you have a lot of spare time...  :geek:

Nyeh, not really. Only played through this game two times.

But heck, if it helps, then loading all those save games wasn't a waste. Besides, it only took about ten minutes to write up...but now I have to finish concept art for the boss, before he goes mad.

T3-M4

Location: Nar Shadaa, Kodin, Droid Parts Merchant

Description: On Quest from TT-32 to negotiate to buy the IT-31 droid for its memory core.

If you Rip the memory core from the droids head .. youll Lose Influence with T3-M4

Thanks Darth Sketch... that reminds me:

You gain influence w/ Kreia at the blind Sullistan merchant on Nar Shadaa if you can manipulate his droid into giving you a discount (or was it the prototype?) Anyway, she has to be in your party at the time. Unfortunately I can't remember exactly how but the rationale is that since his boss is blind and can't monitor the droid's bookeeping, he won't find out - and the droid really wants that T3 processor so he will agree.

Yet another manipulation thing that Kreia respects.

Thanks everybody and Boiler for your posts - it has helped tons!

Quick influence for LS

Atton and Bao-Dur both on Nar-Shadaa being the first planet after Telos:

1.Bao-Dur must be with you in main area to solve the guy who owes money to the Exchange...ONLY him as Atton or Kreia in party trigger THEIR line and not his(strange ...at least that happened to me). After he triggers u get to talk to him and he ends up Jedi

2.Atton becomes Jedi having him in refugee area when the 2 Twileks appear...treat him nicely and he becomes Jedi

3.Handmaiden can be done by sparring - last spar(THIRD) is possible ONLY at PC at level 18!!

4.Mira through dialogue on Ebon Hawk then go to main area to show her the force

_________

This above is made "by ear" based on what I had ALONE...tried and overtried the main area with different parties but it appears game allows only ONE line for an event(one line being for one character)

I MAY possibly gained additional influence on Peragus/Telos for Atton and on Telos for Bao-Dur but I believe no more than one influence event for each as far as I remember atm

_________

Apparently for LS u can get on 2nd planet(if we don`t cound Telos) all party members Jedi

Probably darkside same since I checked with the add side cheat and it seems that the game adjusts the allignment for each party member based on influence related to yours(added dark side to max and suddenly all party members were dark as hell...switched to light side max and they were white as clouds on which they were standing) - still needs to be verified for me at least

Not sure if this one has been posted.

Location: Onderon, Merchant Square

Who: Kreia

With Kreia in your party, speak to Anda (sp?) about removing the Onderonian captains. When you end the conversation with her, Kreia will say that the quest may be a good opportunity to gain favor (or something like that) with General Vaklu. If you disagree with her, saying you would never help someone that is trying to kill you, you will lose influence. I tried agreeing with her, but I got no influence increase; however, I may have been maxed out already (if that's possible?).

Just found another way to gain Mandalore influence: In the flophouse on Nar Shadaa, there are 3 aliens who are the crew of the Lunar Shadow. They want you to go get their wayward captain out of the Jekk Jekk Tarr. If you decide to kill them, Mandalore will say "good that ought to shut them up" and you'll gain influence.

Has anyone found a way yet to cheat influence? I'm getting a bit tired of walking around with certain party members, trying to find things to influence them with just to hear their full story. I've been looking through all the cheats, but can't seem to find any.

Does anyone know if there's an option to modify influence?

There are some mods out there that modify influence but KSE is your best bet: http://www.starwarsknights.com/tools.php

apart that, you'll find a 100% influence mod on my website - in my sig - (good if you want to turn everyone into Jedi but you'll miss convos between some npcs that requires then to be at certain levels) and headband that let's you modify your influence as you want (never tried it): http://pcgamemods.com/10498/

Only 2 Handmaiden influence on this thread? I'm trying to turn her into a jedi. Any tips? I got some influence with her when I helped the indebted guy on Nar Shada who was going to get roughed up by Exchange thugs (also influenced Bao-Dur during the same situation, enough to turn him into a jedi). Still can't ask her about Atris -- keeping get Influnce: failed.

I also never got an "Influence: lost" from Handmaiden when I told her "I won't harm her, if that's what you're asking" after fighting Visas. Just gained influence with Visas after making that comment.

Effect:: Allow Bao-Dur to examine the sensors, telling him he did a good job after finding the cameras, to gain Influence.

ok i never get this optioon for him to examine the sensors... i find the sensors and he says something to the effect like .. theres something up.. and i say ill think about it... what a i doing wrong here

You gain influence with Mira when you talk to Aida on Onderon about the captains. You don't need to agree with Aida and don't need to do anything about the captains; just agree with Mira "more credits will be welcome indeed". At the same place you can gain influence with Mandalore too, if you tell him "It is good to show general Baklu we can be usefull" or such.

Also you can gain influence with Mandalore by rising a street riot and telling him the same thing.

Although getting influence with Mandalore is probably the most useless thing in the game.

And I think you can gain influence with Mira if you sell the starport visa to the woman in the cantina. Mira says something like "More credits is good thing"...

You can gain influence with HK-47 by killing Akkere on Dantoine and by killing mercenaries outside Crystal Cave, if you tell them "Die, scum!"

Posted

You can gain influence with T3 through one of HK-47's dialogue options. It is part of the thread where he talks about killing Jedi, being regarded as inferior by them and the satisfaction of killing them. There is a quick cut to T3 when he talks about people regarding Droids as part of the furniture. If you then say that this is wrong and they shouldn't be regarded as such it cuts to t3 again and you gain influence with him.
