Paradox held a Vampire Jam, where people were invited to develop short games set in the VtM setting. The top 3 are a Disco Elysium inspired RPG, a strategy game and a visual novel and should become available on Steam for free at some point. Not sure if you can grab the others too or not.

Not sure what to make of that. Bungie have been making Destiny 1 & 2 for the past decade. What are they going to develop now? Probably a new online shooter at some point.

Maybe Sony should have bought Digital Extremes. :p

There used to be a signature here, a really cool one...and now it's gone.

Destiny 3: Back in Training? Destiny 3: Rise of the Machines? Destiny: Tokyo Drift? ... I'm not sure what movie series to reference for a 3rd entry. 2nd is easy, Electric Boogaloo is the gold standard. 🤔

I'm the enemy, 'cause I like to think, I like to read. I'm into freedom of speech, and freedom of choice. I'm the kinda guy that likes to sit in a greasy spoon and wonder, "Gee, should I have the T-bone steak or the jumbo rack of barbecue ribs with the side-order of gravy fries?" I want high cholesterol! I wanna eat bacon, and butter, and buckets of cheese, okay?! I wanna smoke a Cuban cigar the size of Cincinnati in the non-smoking section! I wanna run naked through the street, with green Jell-O all over my body, reading Playboy magazine. Why? Because I suddenly may feel the need to, okay, pal? I've SEEN the future. Do you know what it is? It's a 47-year-old virgin sitting around in his beige pajamas, drinking a banana-broccoli shake, singing "I'm an Oscar Meyer Wiene"

Speaking of Crusader Kings, I made the terrible mistake of taking off Steam's adult content block, and was recommended a game called "Sex with Stalin", because apparently it was similar to Crusader Kings III. Well, yeah, I guess, in a sense.

Yeah, Sex with Hitler showed up on my Steam that way. Even with the adult block on.

But if I want to go to the store page for a Fallout game or similar, I have to age verify.

Unobtrusively informing you about my new ebook (which you should feel free to read and shower with praise).

I did not play it, so can't say. The whole series of games seems like a bad taste cash grab catering to people who think they are cool or edgy or what the kids call it these days, for playing games that stand up to established societal norms, even if they don't know what established, societal or norm means.

That has got to be one of the strangest reasons to not game anymore  " Im too old ".....its a hobby, you never too old

Its like saying " Im too old to read a book ". You may not have time anymore or your interests may change but you never too old to game 💻

Just a preview of New Kaineng, the capital of Cantha in the upcoming Guild Wars 2 expansion (Cantha is an Asian inspired part of the GW2 world, which featured in the original GW)

Looks like the Canthans are going to give the Asura a run for the money when it comes to who is the most technologically advanced. I want my own Jade Bot!

How I have existed fills me with horror. For I have failed in everything - spelling, arithmetic, riding, tennis, golf; dancing, singing, acting; wife, mistress, whore, friend. Even cooking. And I do not excuse myself with the usual escape of 'not trying'. I tried with all my heart.

In my dreams, I am not crippled. In my dreams, I dance.

I will never understand the love that game gets.  I played it at release.  It was trash, and the entire game was just a damn sidequest.

I liked it.  It wasn't Chrono Trigger level of good, but I enjoyed the game a lot.  But it was more about the journey than the destination I guess.  I'm really excited to play it again and to play the alternate reality Radical Dreamers text game that was never released officially outside of a small Japanese language platform.

I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Yet I must - but I cannot! ~ Ro-Man
