  1. During my adventure with Pillars of Eternity (btw. great game:)), I have faced issue related to quest "The Man Who Waits". I have already finished initial part of the quest, opened the door downstairs the sanitarium and talked to Freyol, who advised me to find Caedman Azo in his laboratory - room next to his office on the map. Unfortunately, NPC does not spawn in this place. Therefore I cannot complete the quest. Steam version of the game owned Thank you in advance for your support !   2. Noticed that if you change party members inside Brighthollow they will lose all items in their personal inventories. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open the save I've attached. 2. Check invetory to see all the stuff there. 3. Remove all party members through the stronghold > party management screen > accept. 4. Invite same party members back 5. Check inventory again to see all the items gone. Savefile

SPOILERS AHEAD I can speak to Durance about him helping creating the godhammer, and I do this anywhere, i my case, while in town, i just initiate a conversation and speak to him about multiple things and thats one of the things he say. After hours later, I go to sleep, and I wake up to a vision of him holding the staff and light eminating from it, and after speaking with him about it he "reveal" to me he helped shape the godhammer. And my response is - "You helped build the Godahmmer?" Which I already know he did ... maybe its a bug that I shouldn't be able to speak to him about it before I get this scene.

This is a pretty minor issue, but I've noticed that if I remove and then later re-add companions to my roster, all of their personal character info - like time in party/most powerful killed/most damage taken etc is reset, as though they'd never been in my party before. I was wondering if this was intentional or a bug? It's not a huge issue, it's just a bit of a shame to not be able to see everyone's stats as the game progresses, and slightly de-incentives switching people out of the party.

  6. Hello, everyone! I have nasty bug in Raedric's Hold. I cannot go out on the main map - I have crush and application is stuck. E.g. I cannot exit from this Hold and continue playing the game. I try every exit (Upper Rampants, Siege, Main, Canalization) - every time - game crushes. I have Loading screen and then - black screen with cursor image and application is dead. Nothing happens. I have idea maybe causes of problem is next: 1. I see guardians near the main gate on the map, speak with them, then i see them one more time. And they become hostile. Now i ended the quest and they must became non-hostile. But cannot. 2. I see and kill guardians on Siege Tower. Now I ended quest and game try to make them peaceful but cannot find them and crushes.   7. I'm playing on Mac Late 2013. When i'm trying to save a game it's crashing. Not all the time, but often. Very often. It's always happen after new game (autosave). And then it's randomly happen while playing. Nevermind what is it: it can be quick save, or just save, or autosave. Fast googling showed up that's i'm not alone here. Please, fix it in the next patch. This game is awesome.
  8. So whenever I order Durance to cast a spell, and about 50% of the time when I ask Aloth to cast a spell, the character instead runs away. They go to some random spot, such as a corner, spaz out and slide sideways for a few seconds, and then cast the spell. However, they don't cast it on the target, they cast it in some second random spot, such as a wall or outside the map. I have no idea what might be causing this. Has anyone seen this? Is there fix? It's frustrating me because I can't beat the enemies without casting the occasional spell.

I can't seem to be able to upload images, so I use links from imgur. this is my character http://imgur.com/i8O6LGh this is my weapon http://imgur.com/U6vPjww and this is the combat log http://imgur.com/fZ40KBe You can see that my damage dealt before DT is 19.1. This means my damage before might would be 19.1 / (1 + 0.33) = 14.3, which is not within the weapon's damage range(16 - 24). So might is clearly not affecting auto attack.   11. My main character, a Cipher, for some reason does not get any AoE bonuses from Intellect, while other characters do. The character screen claims I'm getting bonuses, but the area highlight never shows the yellow zone, regardless of my Intellect. I verified that it's not only a visual glitch - the area is indeed not affected by bonuses. I tried disabling/re-enabling the area highlight to no avail. I also tried manipulating the attribute score through cheats in attempts to "unstuck" the calculation, and it actually worked (I got the yellow zone) until I reloaded from a save. I can no longer reproduce this... The version is 1.0.2.0508, GOG. This kind of ruins my game... Any ideas? There seems to be an issue where the game will both not recognize my saved games (Continue and Load buttons grayed out) nor load them (short black screen then back to menu when attempting to load). I've found a temporary fix for the recognition problem by moving my saves from C:\Users\Username\Saved Games\Pillars of Eternity to C:\Users\Username\AppData\LocalLow\Obsidian Entertainment\Pillars of Eternity\CurrentGame but after exiting the game it will no longer load the saves made during that session despite it being in that folder.   13. Hello everyone, I encountered another bug where the item description can no longer be moved freely within the screen but stuck horizontally either in the middle of the window or at the bottom. Interestingly I could only produce these bug with "books". Additionally to this, it once happened that the item descriptions stayed opened though the inventory window had been closed.   14. First off, I love this game. Worth every dollar I backed it with. However, once I started delving into the Endless Paths, I started hitting the wall of bugs. I got the "ranger companion in terrain" bug, and since I couldn't dismiss the ranger outside my stronghold, I decided to kill her. Stripped her down and sent her into monsters. Problem solved. However, after I moved to another level, a blank character square appeared in my party roster. The character was inside the terrain, and now I can't leave the area OR get it kill OR dismiss it. So that's two saves borked, maybe more, and I'm concerned that the game is just going to give me glitched characters at any moment for no reason, stopping me in my tracks. Here's a link to the .zip. Is there a command to remove characters from the party?
  15. Guys, I think I've found a bug. Steps to reproduce: 1. Go to Options -> Controls 2. Map something to some button (basically, make some change) 3. Try to map something else to Escape key What happens now is that two dialogs pop up: Save changes and that Escape is already mapped to something. Whether you accept or cancel, the "Already mapped" dialog goes away, but the Save changes is still there, it's inactive and you cannot close it, cannot click on any option there or basically cannot click anywhere else. ALT+F4 is your only option. Regards and guys, you are still awesome! --M.
  16. Record Keeper at the Ducal Palace, when speaking abou Eder problem I can just keep conversing about it, thus allowing to farm reputation like diplomacy. I used the [Resolve 17] option to continue and from there I can just repeat.

I saw this on Reddit, http://www.reddit.com/r/projecteternity/comments/30lmx2/psa_doubleclicking_equipment_bug/, so credit to user Kirur for pointing it out, but I wasn't sure if he or she would post it here, as I have tested it myself. There's a webm in the thread for the lazy, http://webmup.com/HArIv/vid.webm Essentially, double clicking to equip armor removes all passive buffs including racials. Pretty gamebreaking if you ask me. Hopefully there's a way to patch back in buffs you've lost, otherwise I'm going to have to restart my 10 hour game.
  18. Hi, my game keeps crashing when I try to leave the Black Hammer Smithery. It gets into the loading screen, stays there for a few seconds and then throws me onto the desktop. I am playing the Steam version. The crash reports, specs and savegame can be found here (I'd use the file attachment function if it wouldn't keep giving me error messages).
  19. Hello! Just wanted to mention two bugs I came across: 1) The prices in Black Hammer Smithery are suddenly (?) massively inflated. Every item they sell is ~100x more expensive than in other locations and I could get 10x more from items I sell to them. I think it started after I brought back the missing shipment. 2) Cloaks are not displayed. When my characters wear a cloak, it's invisible in the game. It seems to be the same bug as in the Mac version, only I'm playing on Linux (Mint 17.1 Cinnamon 64bit, NVidia GTX460 with NVidia drivers).

  21. After playing for a while there is a stuttering sound played. It sounds like a page in a book beeing flipped, just repeated endlessly in a very short interval. It's pretty annoying... It happend around five times now: first time after ~1hour, last time after ~10 minutes. When doing save, quit and load it goes away. It does not go away when I just save and load.
  22. I'm reporting the ranger companion issue as well. I was playing in Caed Nua trying to find that wizard master guy in the "The Old Watcher" quest in the "Endless Paths of Od Nua Level 1" area. I went up the back stairs where you walk across Dr. Manhattan's hand and pop out the cellar door in Caed Nua's courtyard. Wolf was still with me. Went back in the door with that creepy statue lady who's probably a cat lady in a past life. Wolf was still with me. Went downstairs and opened the heavy iron door and my wolf up and ran off. Probably joined a circus. Left a white circle behind as the only memento. What a jerk. I beat the dude with the serious case of MPD and went to look for my wolf. I thought maybe his disappearance was part of the quest. Nope. "You must gather your party before venturing forth." OK. Reload my save from after crazypants' encounter and the wolf didn't reappear. I reloaded my save from immediately before and wolf-bro is there. Yay! I opened the iron door back into Maerwald's panic room and my wolf followed me in through the event transition. Yay! I reloaded the working save again, and purposefully moved my wolf where he'd be stuck on some of the environment when my party opened the heavy iron door to the Maerwald event. BAM. We transitioned and the wolf disappeared. It seems that he needs to be in view of the door to transition properly. The bug only hits some of the time, not every time. Hope the description helps.   23. Hello again, It's an embarrassing thing to say, but I've just noticed on my first walkthrough of the game a bug that may have been consistenly going on for at least a few hours. I have an Island Aumaua with the racial Ability Armed to the Teeth, which grants an additional quickdraw slot to the hero. So far so good. After a few savegames, I noticed that the weapons on my third quickdraw where dyed in red and I could not equip them anymore. After removing them from the slot, a padlock appeared on it as if I had not acquired the ability and now I cannot use it. I've change instances, reloaded previous games-though, as I said, I didn't quite catch it on time- but the problem still persists.   24. Hello, I started a new game today, and noticed this weird sound issue. It sounds like it may be a Chest opening, or a page turning, but its repeating constantly. The first time it happened I was attacking the Wolf at the very beginning area near the berries. Thought it would go away after I loaded into the next area in the caves. It didn't so I saved and closed the game. Reopened and it was gone. Then I proceeded to open a chest and it started again. Closed and Reopened. Opened chest again and it did not do it. Proceeded to the pillars that you light with your torch and it started doing it again. Not sure what it is but it is very annoying. I tired to attached my files for but it won't let me Thank you, proppaganda
  25. POE has a Gameplay option named similarly to an old Infinity Engine one: Auto-pause on Weapon Ineffective. The purpose of this gameplay feature has historically been to let you know when the weapon you're using to attack your target is ineffective, whether due to innate damage reduction, protection spells, or your weapon broke among others. In POE, I enabled this option because it's useful information to be alerted to, and I was confused because it was going off all the time from my very first combat encounter - nearly every round in combat with: Auto-pause: Weapon ineffective (your character name). My character's a fighter and came with a sword and I was thinking, "Are they really throwing enemies that are highly resistant to swords this early in the game?! They're just bandits!". A little later on when I was fighting a single young wolf, I paid special attention to what was going on. I finally noticed that it was only auto-pausing with the weapon ineffective message every time *I* was hit by the enemy. It's pausing to alert me that the enemy's weapon is ineffective on me. If it's intentional, this seems completely backwards and broken compared to previous implementations of the feature and for it to have any use in this game. (I posted this in general and it was suggested that I post it here in the tech support forums.)
