Yes. The original idea was that in Trayus Academy the player could take 2 paths, and unlike the current situation they didn't both lead toward Sion. One path you saved your teammates, and got weaker because of it. And the other would be like Trayus is now...

Well, on my DS run he was just another un-killable Jedi to me (like Kavar, AARGH)... The second time, when he assaulted me inside the cave, he was also less "friendly" outside the cave after I saved Khoonda... Which gave some odd animations (first talk to Adara, where Vrook spawns all of the sudden in the middle. Then when I left from Adara, we all insta-moved to the main entrance of Khoonds)

Load a savegame before entering the Academy an then Ask who they are instead of dropping your weapons right away. Alternatives: Download a patch from Gizka's Restoration site (Sticky in General) Re-install Kotor2 and DON'T install 1.0B

It is most likely not included because there really is 1 main quest, severed in several (same) quests (the search for the Masters), and there are VERY few sub-quest not required for the main-quest...

Hehe, Solari...love that one... Even though it has a LS req. my DS Jedi uses it... But I agree about the crystal thing. I have multiple (lvl 50) of the strongest unique crystals now... (like 2 solari, 4 of another powerfull one)

Anyways, some info on crystals: Said dealer on Dantooine The Female Rodian will sell a silver and some random crystals after "stabilising(spel?)" some planets for her (and also the HK-Pacifist package! Not to miss :D ) There is a fixed orange crystal in Korriban's Academy There are fixed Viridian and Silver crystals on Onderon (second visit, palace) Cantina (Onderon) And don't forget; if a dealer has stuff you don't want reload, they will have a bunch of other items that may suit your needs more...

Why can't we just get a "beta-version" of the patch... I am pretty sure I will find all bugs included within 2 min of install... (unlike some LA employers)?

For Windows XP: Click on it (Right Mouse Button) Select open Select from the screen to the left "unpack all items" Just follow the steps of the Wizard...

Is it still in Zip format? Have you downloaded it? After downloading all you have to do is unzip it to a location of choise, then you can play it...
