What are you playing now?
They are a grotesque. A parody on pretty much everything. If you look at them as anything but a grand rollercoster of immaturity, then you'll hate the game. If you look at them with a fascinated curiosity of just how far they can go without a soccer mom showing up at the devs' doorstep and shooting them, then its gold. It was in the second game when you're kidnapped by the Samedi and forced to smoke something as part of their plan to kill you that it finally all clicked with me. I'd enjoyed it up until that point, but at that point it all made sense to me, and I enjoyed killing everyone while I was too high to walk straight. The third game just piled on more stuff, although some of my favorite diversions were dropped. Still by the time it got to the Gangsters in Space movie I had huge, huge amounts of entertainment. Which I'm re-enjoying right now.

Purple/Pink in P:E setting
If shades of purple isn't in for clothing, how am I going to create a fantasy Saints Row crew?

What you did today
I slept well, but when awoken by my alarm stared at it for a few minutes thinking, "oh yeah, I should set my alarm for tomorrow morning. I'm glad my alarm is reminding me to do that..." before I realized it was tomorrow morning (relatively speaking) and the alarm was actually going off to get me up, not reminding me to set it (like it ever does that).

Defense of Marriage Act ruled Unconstitutional
This has already happened. GBLTs have sued caterers, florists, etc. who've refused to provide their services to a GBLT ceremony based upon religious grounds. GBLTs number amongst the special mascots of the anointed and this disasterous turn of events will just encourage more attacks against traditional, conservative Judeo-Christian mores and ways. Good interview with [url=http://www.wjr.com/page.php?page_id=821#] former Sen. Rick Santorum by Frank Beckmann on June 26, '13. The arguments that apply to equal service / non-discriminatory business practices don't (currently) translate to religious organizations (that said, I think most religious organizations have just skipped out on situations where it could have been tested, for example adoptions).

Too much loot
They have said before something to the effect that if it ended up not working in a fun way they'd change things around to try and make it fun. I think right now its hard for me to visualize some of how they're thinking this stuff is going to work; hopefully we'll be able to see it in action (so to say) in previews which may give a better idea.

Purple/Pink in P:E setting
I don't really care; its not about the color but how it "fits" the game.

Some wild screenshots appeared!
I think I may have to start ignoring Project Eternity news for awhile. While exciting to see all these updates and screens its also making me boundlessly impatient for the game! Lol.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
I'll blame your stray thoughts for using the term "console game" and not "glorious computer RPG" then. I'm still missing a couple of the published Al Qadim books but its an interesting setting; like the flavor and how they twist the how things work in it. Never played The Genie's Curse but I hear it wasn't much to write home about. I'd love to see a new stab at a Ravenloft set game.

Too much loot
http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/63839-inventory-management/ this thread has a summary, interview links and some comments from Josh. Josh's first post here: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/63839-inventory-management/page-2?do=findComment&comment=1334881 Also "Deep Stash" sounds like a porn movie title.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
Dark Sun was the setting where you rolled a character bank because your character would die every couple of minutes and you'd need to run in the next one. Not really sure how that translates to a console game. I think I'd rather have Planescape or Ravenloft (or Al Qadim, but that's highly unlikely).

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
I really think how MoMX does will probably be the real test case; the Kickstarters - while successful - by their funding nature might make it an attractive but unsure area to dabble in. If MoMX does boffo, I think that added with the Kickstarter success, then yeah I could see more publishers looking at smaller budget but strong-selling niche games.

Defense of Marriage Act ruled Unconstitutional
No Im not, but that's because I don't feel anyone's sexuality should be forced on another group and Im pretty sure someone somewhere is already drafting up a lawsuit against . Regarding homosexuality? I don't care who sticks which sexual organ into which orifice, as long as everyone is consenting. Okay lets say hypothetically the Federal government doesn't pass any legislation to force any churches to marry gay people. Of course there will be certain churches that will perform the ceremony but that's optional. Would you be happy then? I imagine Gfted may be remembering the New Jersey church that was sued because space and a pavilion they owned was refused to be used for a same sex marriage. They were, essentially, told they couldn't keep the tax exempt status on the land and pavilion if they refused to have it open to anyone. The issue, in this case, was that the space and pavilion was tax exempt as a "Green Space" and not as part of a religious organization. Its my understanding that while they did lose the tax exempt status for the Green Space Tax Exemption, they applied for - and received - a tax exemption for religious organizations and was able to continue to operate the pavilion and grounds as they saw fit.

What are you playing now?
At least with Sacred you remember the name of the game Not sure what that says about Kingdoms of Amalur Seriously though, the story of Sacred and Sacred 2 is so weak, there is nothing to feel invested in. Well at least I was close on Malur...er Amalur. ( Thing is with no investement I just started feeling like completing quests was a chore rather than something that was interesting and fun.

Defense of Marriage Act ruled Unconstitutional
I think you're wrong about this. They will force it on the churches by revoking their tax exemption status if they say no. I can't say I agree. I doubt any legislation to that effect would survive a legal challenge, and the politicians wouldn't survive their next election.

Hawaii was a bit of a bastard move, IMO, regardless of any hand-wringing the politicians did over it.

Prism Program ( Big Brother gone too far?)
The problem - in theory - with going public with what they're doing / how they're doing it is that you're giving information on how to foil what they do to the terrorist organizations who now know better how to avoid detection.
