  1. I didn't like being forced to play the game in certain ways (the "rules" system that would force you not to use certain items/spells/classes/whatever) and I hated the conceit of it being an "imaginary" story.
  2. I hated Jurassic Park on the Genesis. I know others liked it but I didn't. It had some interesting conceits but I'll be honest I got tired of platformers around that time, so maybe that's it. Speaking of Toe Jam and Earl, while the second game was a dissapointment I didn't hate it. I did really dislike that modern game that came out a year or two though.
  3. Glad it worked. I had a lot of fun playing around with the models. :D
  4. I confess, I almost missed the old rants and raves about Fallout. *tears up*
  5. Hmmm, well there are loads of duff games out there I've bought and played. Stuff like Bugs Bunny: Rabbit Rampage, Shining Tears, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, Shadow Madness, Impossible Mission, X-Men for the NES, Druid II, Dungeon Lords, Invictus, Jurassic Park for the Genesis, etc.
  6. You know I saw the shorts and it confused me because I couldn't figure out what it was supposed to mean. Usually stuff they show on TV is a reference to..well...something. But in this case it seemed like a total non-sequitor.
  7. There is a file called "clandoc.txt" that has all of the paths for character models in it. If you've installed any of the patches I believe the file should be openly editable in the Bloodlines directory without having to extract it. There's a tool called VampEd that can allow you to easily check the path for the model you want to use. Its then a matter of editing the PC Character models to be the ones you want. For example if you want your Tremere to look like VV, you'd edit the Tremere models (for all 4 armor levels) to models/character/npc/unique/downtown/vv/vv.mdl Darque's initial posting about this can be found here
  8. No, it just seemed that way.
  9. Ant-Man has been optioned for a movie already, so it'd probably be whoever gets cast there. Wasp may/may not be cast there but AFAIK the Asian Wasp is only an Ultimates thing.
  10. I always knew they couldn't be trusted.
  11. If they keep making poor selling Fallout sequels and spin-offs you'll get your wish sooner or later.
  12. Its been too long since I used any of the Torment editors to remember if they had Faction editing or not. But FWIW Sorcerer's Place has a collection of savegame editors for the game, so you could check them out.
  13. I'm still early in it, and I'm enjoying it. It has some...idiosyncratic issues, but its been fun. But again, very early in play.
  14. A little Night Watch
  15. Obviously because the ones that have a jiggle to them are not wearing a bra?? I not 100% convinced this is the case; first off in real life, breasts still have some movement even in a bra. Having tried out a fair number of the different models in the game, and a number of those have a bounce that is consistant with being in a bra AFAIK (ie theres a bit of bounce across the top to indicate breast movement while "restrained" in the bra). I can't remember all of the ones that fit this, but Therese has some bounce, but is clearly supposed to be wearing a bra and one of the Chinatown models as well. This is also born out by looking at the odd way certain models deform under the "money x" code. The ones that don't change at all under this code are the breasts that don't move at all. Amid those that do respond to the money x code, the level of "bounce" is different as well; the malkavian and Rosa has a bit of "swing" and bounce, some (like one of the Chinatown models I mentioned earlier) has just a minor bit of bounce, one of the "stripper" models rolls around like a pair of loose cumquats and so on. So it raises the question why some are bouncy and others aren't.
  16. That may be, but it still seems odd to me...
  17. I wouldn't say its a fixation; I just can't figure out why they decided to have some models jiggle and others not to.
  18. Several of the skins appear to have bounce, while others don't. Wonder what determined that...? Funniest one was probably watching the opening with one of the stripper skins because it had such a completely incredibly unconvincing mega-bounce as the character walked behind the Prince as to be comedic.
  19. Yeah its in wide® release now in the US. Which meant, naturally, the local theater didn't get it so I had to drive a bit to see it. Still it was worth it, IMO. Pity it (and Children of Men) got their wide releases so messed up.
  20. Change the character model for the Toreador to one of the in game models.
  21. You know I liked the film but Film I saw yesterday though was Pan's Labyrinth Really good, really moving, really brutal at points. Very well made.
  22. I'm still playing Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines aka as the All-World Game Title Puntuation Champ. And working through Night Watch, Sacred Gold and Freedom Force (as a lead up to taking on the Third Reich in part 2!)
  23. ^Just to test it out, I went on a killing spree. First time through I didn't even see those warning tags. It was kinda fun until the game crashed.
  24. I'll wait until I see something from the game itself before even thinking of forming an opinion. Or something.
