Anyone looking forward to Tales of Xillia?
No I hated it. I disliked all the "playable" characters, I hated the story, I hated how it didn't feel at all like the first two games. It wasn't, IMO, even in the same league as the original two games (which I loved and played many times).

Movies You've Seen Recently
The plot really hasn't been revealed, but from what I've pieced together (and this is an estimated guess), Riddick is betrayed by the Necromongers and dumped on the planet and left for dead. Karl Urban's Vaako is rumored to be in the new film, so I'd suggest his death in CHRONICLES was a subterfuge and he's behind it. Why the new set of mercenaries come after Riddick and who is behind them is a mystery.

How "grindy" will the game be?
Huh...I never saved before using the Lum machine.

Anyone looking forward to Tales of Xillia?
Breath of Fire was dead to me after the third game (as was Suikoden, now that I think about it). Anyhow, I liked the last Tales game enough that my interest is high for Xillia.

Dragon Age III / The Witcher 3 trailers. Impressions?
Yeah that looks right Ah...never chose that option there. What i don't like about this is that can become a cop out. " oh, a gate to the fade is open and we need the mages help to close it and templars to fight the demons. Let's unite and fight the archdemon Flemeth the BIGBAD. The templar-mage war was the only element in any Bioware game in the last decade with no clear black and white solution, and i was curious how Bioware would deal with it. Does seem like its an easy way to get out of that conflict; hopefully it won't be used as such.

Eh? I am talking about the desire demons, they can be hot. You even have the option to have sex with one in DA:O I don't remember anything like that in DA:O. Possibly I missed it because I wasn't seeking such, but...

Constructed Languages and Intuitive *~ Culture Feels ~*
zeh-DIG-eve gill-ex would be my wild stab in the dark. Hmmm, wrote fark instead, not sure what that means. Ultimately with regards to the constructed language, I think as long as the terminology doesn't go overboard (as in the old Planescape setting warning of going overboard with cant slang) so that the context is understood I'm okay. I don't worry about pronunciation that much personally (one of my first jobs involved calling people's names out - you kind of get over mispronouncing things quickly). Lol, no no no... it's pronounced exactly how it looks! That's how it looked to me! Unlike Raymond Luxury Yacht, which is pronounced "Throat Warbler Mangrove".

I think the idea - at least as I get it - is that this is a "doorway opened to the Fade in the Sky" as opposed to "magicians calling demons forth from the fade" or "mages being possessed by demons from the fade" which was the whole reason mages were feared and such.

The correct answer was 'To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women'. Either that or, 'When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, looks you crooked in the eye, and asks you if you paid your dues; you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have you paid your dues, Jack? Yessir, the check is in the mail." '

They don't mention the erection is painful and can lead to sterility? Seems a point you'd want to make before people descend on Brazil looking to induce priapism in themselves. Also, Brazil has social colonies of spiders that build colony webs above the streets (either permanently or for mating purposes). Which can lead to it raining spiders in town.

Relationship/Romance Thread IV
One of the arguments against romance is that - how it has been implemented so far - is that you don't have a very interesting companion UNLESS you pursue the romance. Therefore for many people this isn't a "well I won't use the feature so its development is a neutral issue" to "this feature could actively nerf joinable companions" Facing death on a daily basis might lead the party to actually want to get some rest instead of copulate. To be honest this is one of those things that is going to be HIGHLY dependent on the PC and NPCs and the situation IMO. You used the word "immersive", therefore I have a mild hate of you now.

Solving The Rest Problem: Limited resting, or respawning enemies?
I wonder this as well. I'd have to assume you'll have regions of relative "safety" (more rest zones than spots) with smaller areas of... "unrest," (I couldn't resist), and other regions of relative danger (or otherwise-preventing-extended-rest factors) in which the majority of the area will not allow resting, and only small spots will allow it. I highly doubt it'll be just little dots throughout the entirety of the traversable map. I am anticipating more official info on this, in general, though. I figure there will have to be some kind of visual indication. Were already being forced to go to specific areas just to rest, I cant imagine the design would also force us to press the rest button every 10 feet until we get lucky and find the sweet spot. I imagine it'll be on the map, but they could also do it by having it be a "vacant" camp site already visually or have floating test when you hit the area "this looks like a good area to rest if you want to".
