Its got skills and skill advancement when you level up and a diablo-esque loot system combined with a side scrolling beat 'em up gameplay. I'm enjoying it pretty well.

I liked NIGHT OF THE COMET...it made me laugh.

I've been sneezing all day, and I have no idea why, either. My whole face has swelled up. I'm putting this in context of a big meteor shower, and I have to say TRIFFIDS! Could be worse, could be NIGHT OF THE COMET, and you'd be a zombie.

I read that as "sexually amphibious" for some reason...

Also maybe femur bones? I had a pathologist friend years ago.

I don't have a camera on my phone. Unless I borrow someone's camera and put it on top of my phone, that is.

IIRC skulls - along with pelvises - are the first places you go to look to see if you've got woman bones or man bones.

This thread almost makes me wish I owned a camera. Almost.

Both of my sea duty tours were on carriers, CVN-65 USS Enterprise and CVN-72 USS Abraham Lincoln. Thank god I wasn't on one of the small boys (destroyers, cruisers). We used to stand in the hanger bay and watch them get tossed around by the ocean while we barely felt anything. "These are the voyages of the CVN-65 USS Enterprise..." I can't imagine being on one of the big ships (cue up story about getting lost on one of the museum ships because someone forgot to lock a door).

RIP Scott. He was always a good poster and level headed guy here. Always appreciated his presence and hoped and prayed for him after he'd revealed his illness. He was already missed, but it'll be harder to deal with now. Thoughts and prayers now with his family and friends.

Working animals are probably not that hard to represent abstractly, probably harder to represent in a way that actually makes a difference in gameplay. Particularly riding animals, as you then pretty much have to address mounted combat.

I love the "work in progress" graphic on the M&M screens.

I imagine that planning for mounted combat takes more planning than throwing in some animations. Particularly when you're talking about mounted party vs party combat. (Or party on horses and cows vs zombie trees wearing cloaks riding aboleths wearing gandalf hats).

I don't disagree. But as Gorgon says, if they want to bump Russia out for this, they really don't have a lot of room to maneuver until next go around. Then if they want to ban Russia like they did SA they can (but I seriously doubt they will, to be honest).

Curious, one of my teachers is from there. You probably know him seeing as the island is 3 feet wide I had a friend in college from there. Last I heard she was in Jamacia though.

I agree with Agiel on this; the Olympics are about forgetting why we hate each other, why we hate our differences. Boycotting or moving the Winter Olympics (moving would be impossible at this date anyhow) is pretty much ensuring that the kind of connections the Olympics foster, the sharing of unequal beliefs in a framework of acceptance and sports competition wouldn't happen. Fighting ignorance about minority groups has to include the ability for people to meet and see whatever group has been defined as "other" so that those who fear that "other" can see they aren't so different after all.

So...it'd be pretty awkward if I posted pictures of Tanit Phoenix over in the attractive women thread today, then...?

Cats, cows, and horses plus walking scary plants...all wearing gandalfy wizard hats and wearing cloaks! And then undead versions of all of the above. There I think the wish list is sorted.
