Origin Of Your Name And Avatar
Oh and you are! I love you.... GM is just my initials. Used it since the good ol' Black Isle days when I couldn't think of anything else. Way too shy back then to be creative or clever. My avatar is because some real life friends thought it looked like me... except my hair is not quite so reddish, truly. And my cowgirl hat is way better. :D And back in the days of BIS we all thought it meant "Game Master" and you were like a hardcore DM (not to be confused with DM who was a DM).

Origin Of Your Name And Avatar
Well since 2004 I've used the same username but have changed my avatar a whole lot. Just not everyday. Currently, its 1920s actress Louise Brooks. You could have at least quoted your old post while you were at it explaining your username...

Dragon Age: Inquisition
Just to be clear, when I called Anders a murdering **** the intention of that was not to make reference to any sort of sexual proclivities in case a reference to an **** might lead one to think along those lines. For the record, the asterisks didn't represent ****, ****, ****sucker, ****, mother****er, ****, ****, bitch or any other kind of thing that referenced gender or sexual orientation. I just used the term to refer to Anders as a right bastard without saying the actual term "right bastard" (with no intention on this reflecting the legitimacy of his issue but just that he was a "bad dude who should feel guilty and ashamed and he reflects badly on kitten lovers (not in that sense, get your minds out of the gutter) everywhere).

Movies You've Seen Recently
Watched HELLDRIVER, a Japanese horror-splatter film. Ridiculously over-the-top - one of those films where you're alternating laughing, laughing but feeling guilty because you are laughing, being somewhat grossed out and just plain going WTF? I like how the director came on before the movie starts and suggested drinking beer or "special beverages" before watching too.

Dragon Age: Inquisition
Most of the gay people you meet won't introduce themselves as such, so... Frankly, the most ramming down the throat I have to endure is from Bioware haters, with straight white people standing up in affected moral outrage for the rights of every concievable minority a close second and gays themselves... well, not on the list at all. I would say most men fantasize about ramming something down someone's throat. Every little boy dreams of growing up to be a otorhinolaryngologist.

Dragon Age: Inquisition
My problem is two points:1) Nothing can be done with an old character that can not be done with a new. 2) It risks the player agency they say they are going to respect. Case in point; Leliana. Tatiana, the trained assassin and right hand of the Divine, could have done everything in Dragon Age 2 that she did. And nobody would have had cause to complain of her head growing back. Doesn't mean it shouldn't be done though. I see Dragon Age as similar to a lot of fantasy novels that came after Tolkien where a lot of the same characters weaved in and out of the various novels. I'd much rather the Dragon Age series not be tightly tied together like Mass Effect, so I don't really care if my choices "matter" outside the course of the game I played anymore than I was "bothered" that Lucasarts made it canon that Revan was a dude or the Exile was a dudette. And even though I killed Anders (not because he was gay but because he was a murdering ****) in DA2 if he were to show up in DAI, I wouldn't be all "OMG, WTF?" Of course as it turns out the "post" was faked, its all a bit moot.

Dragon Age: Inquisition
They could axe save imports if they stopped doing cameos entirely. Is there really any reason why Isabella, Merril, and Anders all have to show up in Fereldan, Kirkwall, and Orlais at the precise time that things are going on in these nations? Unless these characters all turn out to be demi-gods that exist everywhen and everywhere, it's a little silly. The world can not possibly be so small that if they feel the need to have an abomination, Dalish Keeper, and sexy pirate, there's no one else. I simply can't comprehend the argument that these characters have to be brought back to decrease complexity. It's like Vivec showing up in Cyrodiil. I think bringing them back increases complexity (because if they didn't bring them back what you did with them in DA2 would be irrelevant). That said, if it fits the story and there's a good reason for it I have no problem with any character returning. Also surprising that people didn't like Anders because he was bisexual and not because he was a murdering ****.

Just remember that freaky freaky little tarsier. Text us (the forum) from the lavatory if it goes badly. No pics though.

Dragon Age: Inquisition
"Exploration Skills" has a nice ring to it. Hmm, so, if after an evening romancing Vivienne, a female mage character could wake up and freely explore bits of Orlais on horseback ... repairing ancient bridges and excoriating the trolls beneath them, at will. Sounds good. I totally thought you were going to say you were going to use your "exploration skills" to romance Vivienne when you started off (my eyes picked up "Exploration Skills", "Romance" and "Vivienne" before I read the actual sentence).

What you did today
I've been sneezing all day, and I have no idea why, either. My whole face has swelled up. I'm putting this in context of a big meteor shower, and I have to say TRIFFIDS! Could be worse, could be NIGHT OF THE COMET, and you'd be a zombie.

@devs How does the team look at the moment?
I read that as "sexually amphibious" for some reason...

Pictures of your games part 2

I don't have a camera on my phone. Unless I borrow someone's camera and put it on top of my phone, that is.

What you did today
Both of my sea duty tours were on carriers, CVN-65 USS Enterprise and CVN-72 USS Abraham Lincoln. Thank god I wasn't on one of the small boys (destroyers, cruisers). We used to stand in the hanger bay and watch them get tossed around by the ocean while we barely felt anything. "These are the voyages of the CVN-65 USS Enterprise..." I can't imagine being on one of the big ships (cue up story about getting lost on one of the museum ships because someone forgot to lock a door).

- Scott/tarna
I PMed him and LordChaos since both had asked about him in the BIS thread. Don't have an email, but hopefully they'll get a PM prompt through their email.- Scott/tarna
RIP Scott. He was always a good poster and level headed guy here. Always appreciated his presence and hoped and prayed for him after he'd revealed his illness. He was already missed, but it'll be harder to deal with now. Thoughts and prayers now with his family and friends. - Scott/tarna
