To be fair, Kilmer's film just FELT like two films, rather than actually BEING two films. The big problem, really, is that the studio felt that it was the dark tone of BATMAN RETURNS that led it to not be the same kind of success that BATMAN had been. So they did a 180 in tone, allowed the director to do two bright, candy color modern take on the 60s pop art / campy Batman with truckloads of ridiculousness. That said, I'm neutral on casting Affleck. He has some acting ability, so the question to my mind turns to the script and direction of the movie.

What are you playing now?
Eh, even as someone who likes action games of its type (Champions of Norrath, BG: Dark Alliance to some degree) my memory of it is that it suffered from poor loot poor character progression mediocre level design mediocre villains mediocre quests and little impetuous to complete them That doesn't mean every complaint against the title (which received a lot of bad notices for many, many things during its development) was valid. But I forced myself to beat it once and then sold it.

I've seen people screwed over by family and by friends and by strangers. The family and friends one are worse, because the person who is screwing up usually defends their actions with a "but we're family/friends you should forgive me/understand!" Moral of the story - I wouldn't loan money to anyone with the expectation to ever see it again. Sargy - maybe my biggest problem is I didn't have a message board with which to chronicle my exploits on.

Dragon Age: Inquisition
Eh...ME3 was okay. That said, I really think ME3 builds heavily on what ME2 set-up and I think ME2 breaks heavily from what ME1 promised. For me ME1 is the superior concept and ME2 and 3 go off in another direction with varying results.

I used to know all the words - and be able to sing - "Dentist!" from LSoH. Yeah I watched the movie a few too many times... I don't have many cat stories unless we go back to my childhood and I tell stories of how my cat jumped over a fence onto the back of a doberman that had wandered up to the gate. The Doberman didn't know what had happened... ...hehehe...we's jus' too old fer all that foolishness now, 'Tep...jus' say ya was wild in yer former years an' now yer jus' wistfully reminiscent...hehehe... ...WHO LUVS YA, BABY!!... I'd agree to that, but when I wistfully reminisce, I discover I was a bit of a drip as a youth. Nothing fun happened to me then either. I can't even afford a good mid-life crisis now...

Planescape, Al-Qadim and Ravenloft are the settings I liked best as well (one day I'll finish off getting the remainder of their published material).

Saints Row 4
Rebecca Sanabria (the original female voice #3 in SR2 and 3,) was the best. It's funny how they've cleansed SR's female player cast of all ethnic minorities. So now it's middle/upper-middle class WASP, WASP doing a fake french accent and Paula Deen. Frenchie is the least bad of the selections, but all of them are bad to me since I can't import my SR2-3 character anymore, since she was a muy caliente chica for two games and suddenly now all hispanics and blacks sound like white people. Ditto. I created a new character to use in SR3 with an eye to SR4 so I don't have to break my SR2-3 character's continuity. That sounds sadder typed out than it did when I thought of the idea when replaying SR3...

Dragon Age: Inquisition
Her being able to resurrect party members was how I got through the Flemeth fight first time through... He was alright. He was a wimp, though. He couldn't take a hit worth a damn. I too forgot to equip him with armor after freeing him from his cage and adding him to the party...

Origin Of Your Name And Avatar
Yeah DM's initials were DM, but he was also a DM so it all kinda worked.

Origin Of Your Name And Avatar
Oh and you are! I love you.... GM is just my initials. Used it since the good ol' Black Isle days when I couldn't think of anything else. Way too shy back then to be creative or clever. My avatar is because some real life friends thought it looked like me... except my hair is not quite so reddish, truly. And my cowgirl hat is way better. :D And back in the days of BIS we all thought it meant "Game Master" and you were like a hardcore DM (not to be confused with DM who was a DM).

Origin Of Your Name And Avatar
Well since 2004 I've used the same username but have changed my avatar a whole lot. Just not everyday. Currently, its 1920s actress Louise Brooks. You could have at least quoted your old post while you were at it explaining your username...

Dragon Age: Inquisition
Just to be clear, when I called Anders a murdering **** the intention of that was not to make reference to any sort of sexual proclivities in case a reference to an **** might lead one to think along those lines. For the record, the asterisks didn't represent ****, ****, ****sucker, ****, mother****er, ****, ****, bitch or any other kind of thing that referenced gender or sexual orientation. I just used the term to refer to Anders as a right bastard without saying the actual term "right bastard" (with no intention on this reflecting the legitimacy of his issue but just that he was a "bad dude who should feel guilty and ashamed and he reflects badly on kitten lovers (not in that sense, get your minds out of the gutter) everywhere).

Watched HELLDRIVER, a Japanese horror-splatter film. Ridiculously over-the-top - one of those films where you're alternating laughing, laughing but feeling guilty because you are laughing, being somewhat grossed out and just plain going WTF? I like how the director came on before the movie starts and suggested drinking beer or "special beverages" before watching too.

Dragon Age: Inquisition
Most of the gay people you meet won't introduce themselves as such, so... Frankly, the most ramming down the throat I have to endure is from Bioware haters, with straight white people standing up in affected moral outrage for the rights of every concievable minority a close second and gays themselves... well, not on the list at all. I would say most men fantasize about ramming something down someone's throat. Every little boy dreams of growing up to be a otorhinolaryngologist.

Dragon Age: Inquisition
My problem is two points:1) Nothing can be done with an old character that can not be done with a new. 2) It risks the player agency they say they are going to respect. Case in point; Leliana. Tatiana, the trained assassin and right hand of the Divine, could have done everything in Dragon Age 2 that she did. And nobody would have had cause to complain of her head growing back. Doesn't mean it shouldn't be done though. I see Dragon Age as similar to a lot of fantasy novels that came after Tolkien where a lot of the same characters weaved in and out of the various novels. I'd much rather the Dragon Age series not be tightly tied together like Mass Effect, so I don't really care if my choices "matter" outside the course of the game I played anymore than I was "bothered" that Lucasarts made it canon that Revan was a dude or the Exile was a dudette. And even though I killed Anders (not because he was gay but because he was a murdering ****) in DA2 if he were to show up in DAI, I wouldn't be all "OMG, WTF?" Of course as it turns out the "post" was faked, its all a bit moot.

Dragon Age: Inquisition
They could axe save imports if they stopped doing cameos entirely. Is there really any reason why Isabella, Merril, and Anders all have to show up in Fereldan, Kirkwall, and Orlais at the precise time that things are going on in these nations? Unless these characters all turn out to be demi-gods that exist everywhen and everywhere, it's a little silly. The world can not possibly be so small that if they feel the need to have an abomination, Dalish Keeper, and sexy pirate, there's no one else. I simply can't comprehend the argument that these characters have to be brought back to decrease complexity. It's like Vivec showing up in Cyrodiil. I think bringing them back increases complexity (because if they didn't bring them back what you did with them in DA2 would be irrelevant). That said, if it fits the story and there's a good reason for it I have no problem with any character returning. Also surprising that people didn't like Anders because he was bisexual and not because he was a murdering ****.

Dragon Age: Inquisition
"Exploration Skills" has a nice ring to it. Hmm, so, if after an evening romancing Vivienne, a female mage character could wake up and freely explore bits of Orlais on horseback ... repairing ancient bridges and excoriating the trolls beneath them, at will. Sounds good. I totally thought you were going to say you were going to use your "exploration skills" to romance Vivienne when you started off (my eyes picked up "Exploration Skills", "Romance" and "Vivienne" before I read the actual sentence).
