  1. Check out some of my class specific videos I made (scroll down the end of the playlist to find them) and check out their abilities and talents. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLLxvouEIIL2reyJ_pg20Nqq0f1Lj63YQo I'd suggest a Cipher or Druid in your case.
  2. It's NEVER too late to report bugs no matter the circumstance because this game is Obsidian's baby and there will be many patches post-release. However, if this was made by EA/Dice/Ubisoft, yea no point reporting bugs because microtransactions more important to focus on.
  3. I'd actually say they are the same. Not even close dude lol. Wasteland 2 models are bad.
  4. I'm choosing the in-game portraits because they are so well done. But if you can't find something, just use custom portraits.
  5. Thanks man, appreciate it. Going to make a general overview of the weapon types in the game next. Looking to make it more organized too.
  6. Hey Lord of Riva, I was able to get rid of the background noise from my PC's fan by enabling "Noise Suppression" and "Acoustic Echo Cancellation" under my microphone's sound settings. Seems to have done the trick! Now you only hear my voice and nothing else.
  7. From the official wiki:"Traps and locks can be a problem for even the toughest adventurers, draining their resources and maiming or killing those who are unfortunate enough to trigger an unseen floor plate. The Mechanics skill makes it easier to open locks and find and disable traps. Additionally, any character can use the Mechanics skill to place traps of their own. The higher the Mechanics skill, the more accurate the trap. In conversations and scripted interactions, Mechanics can be used to activate or disable a variety of machines." "Stealth allows characters of any class to attempt to avoid being seen or heard. It is used automatically whenever the character is in Scouting mode. The higher the character's skill, the closer they can get to enemies before being detected." Yep I've seen that - no where does it address finding hidden objects (that are not traps) which is what I am asking about - things that show up outlined in pink - Should still be tied to mechanics?

  9. http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3593502&pagenumber=373&perpage=40#post442563993 Can't access those forums, what is this in reference to specifically?
  10. https://twitter.com/jesawyer/status/575389685964488705 "wildstrike proc has been increased from 10% to 30%. greater wildstrike form 10% to 15%..." Maybe when the next BB hits, we can get a patch list of all the buffs/nerfs to the classes? Be kinda nice IMO. Hopefully some much needed buffs have occurred (plz no nerfs)! It'll be interesting to see what he does with the Ranger.
  11. Keep backstab a passive. Make SB a 2/encounter (1/encounter is ehh?). Would make the Rogue super powerful. Get SB at level 2, backstab lv. 4. or have a choice between the 2 at level 2 from the get go. Everyone wins in this thread.
  12. I'm sure you can do double paladins because they have a lot of modal abilities and you can only have 1 modal activated per character, so just double up on your modals!
  13. I know I myself take longer to beat a game than the average gamer would. I admire the scenery, read a lot of stuff, etc. etc. I also like to play on the hardest difficulty for most games because normal is way too easy for me. Check out this site. http://howlongtobeat.com/ Most games I average longer than the games that I've played on this site which tracks game length of every game from every possible platform available. Amazing site. I expect it'll take me ~100 hours for my first playthrough. Then shorter playtimes for subsequent playthroughs because I know where things are and I won't be admiring the scenery as much hehe
  14. If you are engaged by an enemy and try to run away, you will suffer a disengagement attack, and the enemy might even try to re-engage you or engage another enemy. However, there are many types of abilities/talents for some classes that can let you "escape/break" disengagement so you don't suffer the disengagement attack. Other classes, like the fighter, have talents that let them engage more than 1 or 2 enemies.
  15. Wow, some actual feedback. Thanks. To respond to your first point, my PC is pretty loud and is sitting right next to my monitor. I'm looking to pick up an Blues microphone ICE mic, but I heard it won't really help because it'll still pick up my PC's loud noise fan. I definitely agree with your 2nd point. If I do make other videos, I'll spend more time preparing what to say so I don't ramble on in the video. Thanks a lot man, appreciate the feedback.
  16. This is the current issue with this game. The horrible, unclear ability/talent tooltips. What's so special about this 6th level cipher power that I'm not seeing (besides doing Raw damage)?
  17. Very touching and overall, very humbling. Can't wait for the whole documentary. Should become very uplifting after this part of the video!
  18. In this video, I try to explain what setting the game takes place in. What is Eora and the Eastern Reach? Who are the Dyrwoodans? What is Dyrwood? Who are the Glanfathas and why are they so concerned about their Engwithan Ruins? Who are the Aedyr? Hopefully I answer these questions. Sorry if I ramble too much on certain parts of the video, I apologize. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X2SghKgVlFE
  19. What if they make Shadowing Beyond at 2 per encounter ability, give that to you at level 2. and you get access to Backstab at level 4. Keep in mind, Backstab is a passive and only works in stealth before combat begins until shadowing beyond. Gives you more freedom with the Rogue. Then when you get both, you become a invisible 1-shotter per encounter essentially
  20. You guys are missing the big picture here and it's starting to get a little irritating... Ok sure you can open up your first attack with a stealthed backstab from a Rogue, but during combat, backstabs are useless because you can't stealth... What I am proposing in my original OP is a win/win situation for all of us here, but no one can seem to understand this... If you get access to Shadowing Beyond at level 2 and Backstab at level 4, you are now a much more flexible Rogue. At level 2, you choose Shadowing Beyond, great. At level 4, you have the option of choosing Backstab, BUT can opt for other talents as well. The way it is at the moment, you are given Backstab at level 2, and you are kinda forced to take Shadowing Beyond at level 4 even though there are other talents you may want. With my proposed change, you get Shadowing Beyond at level 2, and at level 4 you can augment your build with Backstab OR choose another talent if you wish, but you aren't pidgeon-holed into picking Backstab. If you have backstab at level 2, you really want Shadowing Beyond so you can CONTINUE to use backstab once combat begins. But if you get Shadowing Beyond at level 2, you don't have to choose backstab at level 4, you can choose other talents if you wish and it won't gimp your build. Why is this so hard to understand? You guys are talking about how amazing backstab is to instantly kill a foe before combat begins in stealth. WELL GREAT! But that doesn't solve anything! And I'm not saying Backstab is useless without Shadowing Beyond, but comes much more useful when you do have it in combat.
  21. I agree on everything you said except I don't find the visual FX as cluttering the screen. To each their own.
  22. Why are people ignoring the fact that you get backstab at level 2 and Shadowing Beyond at level 4. It should be switched to make the class from ok to great...
  23. One thing that has always bugged me was the character quips whenever you select them for an action as other posters here have mentioned. Selecting the companions and they respond with "What is it" or "Yes" gets annoying when they say it EVERY TIME you select them. They need to tone it down.
