I know that I take a lot longer to finish a game than average gamer would. I take in the scenery, examine every nook and cranny, listen to what everyone has to say, etc. etc. My first playthrough might top 100+ hours, here's hoping .

He'll be allowed to stream the game in 3.5 hours (7:00 UTC/12:00 AM PDT). He said he can start streaming Midnight Sunday. And he can't go past Act 1.

Apparently someone beat the game in 30 hours by 'skipping' chat (spamming through the conversations) and just doing the main path. Anthony is currnetly 35 hours in on Act 2 somewhere. (According to Prima Guide, there is 4 acts). 66 Portrait Count in Press Release copy.

He's just testing his stream setup for tomorrow I believe. So he'll stop after character creation.

I think they buffed the human racial passive. Nvm. Holy ****, the new Death Godlike face is crazy awesome.

The sad point is people wasting their time trying to argue with these trolls. I've seen Shevek from these forums over there a lot. He needs to be saved. Help him. (lol)

Edit: Another forum that is also terrible is GameFaqs. Avoid that site like the plague as well.

Nope. As it says up the top this is from Obsidian's facebook page. That page also says a launch event is happening, 7pm Pacific, Wednesday night. Hmm ... Midnight release I hope, keep my fingers crossed. Game is only coming out 2 PM EST I think (according to Steam).

It would be awesome if you let us read the manual before release! You wouldn't be spoiling anything either. Everyday is making me more anxious and it'd be nice if we at least get a headstart on the manual so we can just start playing right away on the 26th!

From Obsidian FB page: "Pillars of Eternity: The Wailing Banshee Inn It was the largest battle of the War of Defiance, and the imperial army of Aedyr had blockaded the rebel capital of Defiance Bay with its fleet. They chose to invade with ground troops at the weakest point, a poorly fortified position in a district known as Ondra's Gift, which had once been a wetland before being drained and settled. What the invaders didn't know was that they were being drawn into a trap. Aedyran soldiers stormed the district to find it abandoned, and before they could make sense of it, the dikes behind them were destroyed, and the district was flooded. The army of Aedyr was decimated. Most of the original district was swept away in the flood, or remains beneath the water, a submerged ruin. One of the only surviving structures was a lighthouse, which now lies at the far end of the farthest dock of Ondra's Gift - and the locals prefer it that way. Anyone know if Obsidian are going to re-organize their subforums for PoE? Spoiler and Spoiler-free subforums are needed soon. As well as subforums for "Gameplay Help", "Quest Help", etc.
