  1. Hee hee ... more Half-Life 2: Episode 1 for me ...
  2. What is that, then?
  3. That ... or interference from Jupiter's radiosphere ...
  4. That looks alright, Baley. I am now watching Godzilla. (What can I say, I like films with a scientist hero ...)
  5. All they need to do is claim that Mario told them to do it ... then they'll get off with diminished responsibility, and everyone can blame computer games: everybody wins!
  6. Why would anyone mod torches? They weigh nothing and you find them everywhere for free ...
  7. Wait for the appeal ...
  8. Fixed!
  9. Planet of the Apes (©1967 starring Charlton Heston and Roddy McDowall)
  10. But you would change the past ... maybe Jesus would decide that it wasn't worth dying for humanity, and he'd run off with Mary to France, settle down and have some children ...
  11. Game development is just like every other artistic endeavour. The problem is taste. Just because Woody Allen makes a film, doesn't mean everyone is going to like it and want to pay to see it. David Bowie sold Futures in his art, maybe that's what you need to do ...
  12. Not to mention the Gospel of Mary.
  13. Trolling pruned from the topic: please do not contribute unless you want to roleplay.
  14. It matters to the zodiac children ..!
  15. How does the trinity work, then? "
  16. Hey, I've seen Stanley's seminal (pun intended) 2001: A Space Odyssey, and I know that obelisk showed the little monkeys what a great tool of warfare a bone can be ... "
  17. Not to mention 7/7 last year, when some idjits blew themselves up on the tubes and a bus.
  18. Because the are populated by people?
  19. Oh, so it wasn't just a naughts' retro-seventies thing, but an actual 70s thing? Oh, well that's okay then. :D
  20. Diminishing returns. Just because the human body can eat a quart of lard in an hour, doesn't mean that it can burn off the calories: even by thinking really really hard about something.
  21. Character sketch.
  22. It's high caloric-density food. Nothing wrong with that, if you don't eat it a a regular substitute for the low density food that homo sapiens sapiens has been foraging and hunting for the past half a million years, but if you stuff your face with it, your body won't be able to adapt ... (natural selection takes many thousands of years and a bit of luck to come up with new, successful adaptations). I personally don't like the deep fried cooking method. Heat damages oil. My favourite meal is (wholemeal) pasta with (several tablespoons of) cold cold-pressed virgin olive oil seasoned with salt, pepper and a decent amount of tabasco sause.
  23. I thought the guy in the back row, far right, was really trying to get the dance moves right ... :D
