Hej PrimeJunta, velkommen til. If you have trouble understanding spoken danish, I suggest watching some tv with subtitles. It helps me when I'm learning a new language.

I want this.

It's pretty damn awesome, I recommend it, but it has some REALLY rough edges. For a lot of people it's not even a fun game until after the first few hours, or even the second playthrough. Maybe if you watch some letsplays on youtube, you could see if it's your kind of game.

Helm, they were very upfront about many of the biggest changes they were going to do. They even said they weren't going reward the player for their "body count".

Talents what would be wanted, and what is needed.
Marky replied to Ganrich's topic in Backer Beta Discussion
I actually really hope there's something like this in the final build... There's a talent in the Beta to reduce the negative effect of not following the Creed of your chosen Faith/Conviction on Priests and Paladins. I would rather like one that increases the effect. I think this would be even more interesting if it also had the effect of increasing the penalty for going against your cause/deity/order. That was very much the idea. But that would almost never be relevant, as only the ones who actually roleplay the character to follow the path, would take this trait anyway. It would only serve to punish those that take the talent by mistake/misunderstanding. I like the idea of role-playing a priest (or any character), who is reconsidering/struggling with his beliefs. Especially in my first playthough when the game's lore and world is still new to me. -

That one is brilliant. I want wildmages in the game, so I suggest: Wizards: Wild spirited: 5% of the time, the wizard's spells end up doing something very different. The list of possibilities could include such things as the spell doing double damage, backfiring, squirrels appear and numerous other things. -
hello Jahus, I found this with a google search: http://purepazaak.freehosting.net/. Edit: Nevermind, the links do not seem to work.

I don't care what Disney, or even Lucas says about canon. Because no matter what. kotor 1 and 2 will always be canon to me. At worst, this decision just means that we're likely to not get any sequels that we might have hoped for. At best, they might re-establish some of the best stuff and make great improvements to the franchise. Heck kotor 3 could happen since Tne Old Republic is no longer cannon either.

Fighter's health
Marky replied to Caerdon's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Stories (Spoiler Warning!)
I've been wondering about this too. I imagine the increased deflection that a fighter gets - especially with a shield - is supposed to be enough. I guess we'll see when the beta comes out. -
Memorial
Marky replied to eckertt001's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Perhaps something that honours the old IE games? For example: Here lie the entertainers: Basul Gaterd Petropens Talcamen Iwin Declaed May the joy they have given us never be forgotten. To avoid it breaking immersion, I changed the game names into anagrams. -
That's sad. I remember laughing from many of his performances, like in Aladdin or The Survivors. Friend Like me was great. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99Op1TaXmCw RIP Robin Williams.

Need help finding other EU stuff like KOTOR II
Marky replied to Albion72's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Republic Commando was a fun FPS where you commanded a squad during the clone wars. It had a great atmosphere, which was somewhat darker than the usual star wars fare. I really liked it. Sadly, it ended with a cliffhanger, and never got a sequel. Oh and the main theme was awesome: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iiNyQD5Yq3E -
Some elements out of the system

Yeah, little quirks here and there can add a lot of charm. I remember classic Minsc being a ranger, who could berserk and had boo occupying an item slot. -

Greenscreen and Driver Crash Bug ~Help!~
Marky replied to TheFormalNinja's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The solution you're looking for is probably on this page: http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Star_Wars:_Knights_of_the_Old_Republic_II_%E2%80%93_The_Sith_Lords#Retail_installation_for_Windows_7. I'm guessing it's because you have windows 8 so I suggest starting with the section "Retail installation for Windows 7". -
Disappointed in Pledge rewards
Marky replied to Moogoo88's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
You can go to http://eternity.obsidian.net/, and at the top right corner click on "manage my pledge", or something like that. The game is available for 35$ with a beta access add-on for 25$, totalling at 60$. -
It's probably unrealistic, but, I hope it's a spiritual successor to Alpha Protocol. I wonder if that could work well in the Pillars of Eternity engine.

A Question of Revenue
Marky replied to Natusake's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
I think it will sell well, assuming Pillars of Eternity gets well received. After all, other kickstarted games like FTL have been very successful.
