  1. <_< *has high intelligence, perception and resolve on almost every character I create* Why the heck I always pick the stats everyone else declares dumb stats?
  2. Aren't Na'Vi blue space cat elves?...
  3. I've found the guildmaster's staff as well. Someone should make list of all secrets you can find with scout mode...
  4. Because there isn't search skill and I suppose if you are good enough with mechanism you are good enough to recognize hidden mechanic objects An example of stuff you can find with scout mode is Guildmaster's staff on second floor of the inn under floorboard. I'm actually going to make thread of that now that I realize people didn't know about it <_<
  5. Riiiight, I'm bit skeptical about this forum lacking freedom of speech and you getting banned for that, but okai And to answer to your question, depends on whether all enemies in games are dragons or whether dragon is unique or rare enemy. If its latter, yeah, exp would be nice. Like that giant spider in that cave, its in dead end, but it doesn't even have special loot. So enemies like unique dragons or unique giant spiders should either give you strong loot or exp since otherwise killing something unique/impressive doesn't have that special "Hurrah!" thing going on
  6. Ummm, Volourn, you don't make sense. Why would Sawyer be involved in project that is about IE nostalgia if he hates IE games?
  7. Two years ago when public hasn't yet played the beta? <_< Dude, apparently QA haven't complained about it, so you can't expect him to change it unless QA is loud about that. Thats factual information, people are irrational. Thats just how the world works.
  8. Edit: Frick, accidentally posted before post was full and I didn't notice it before I finished my post <_< And no delete post button
  9. Don't worry, they won't. Sawyer would rather let the whole game end up as train wreck than change his "vision". Umm, why are you being condescending regarding to Sawyer? <_< Do you have some type of reason to be snide about him, like evidence that he doesn't listen feedback despite his job being listening feedback? Because he is the reason that we have this system. He also mildy insulted us. So waaaaait, you don't actually have any evidence that he doesn't listen feedback, yet you keep insulting the guy? ._.;

  11. I actually agree with Volourn about the giant by giant spider standard spider not giving any reward being kinda pointless. I don't want kill exp, but I don't see problem with giving exp for vanquishing unique foes that you have no reason to do anything else with. I mean, the spider is in dead end, unless there was some type of special loot or exp for it, no real point in getting rid of it ..Hmm, the idea of getting kill exp only for vanquishing impressive foes sounds actually pretty good to me <_< Would make moping up thrash mobs pointless, but not make killing impressive "boss" or such enemies pointless
  12. If they DO end up bringing back kill exp(which I would grumble about, I really liked that I wasn't able to emergency level up my rogue to lockpick the doors ), I hope they won't do the thing were every wolf gives 25 exp, with little variants depending on whether they are lower or higher level. Not for any real understandable real though, I just want something different if they decide to embrace the old IE ways
  13. This poll is really limited <_< I mean, I find it that it could be improved by having it give exp for scripted encounters, finding locations, doing small stuff and not just reaching quest objectives. So if I say I don't like the exp, it sounds like I'm saying "Bring combat exp back!" when in fact I don't want combat exp to be back
  14. Aww, I kinda wanted all of them(well, okay, Nature and Death ones aren't really ugly, nor are fire ones, moon ones are) to be kinda ugly. But yeah, more head variations sound awesome. My personal hope is that there is at least one death godlike variant where the head growth thing covers whole face *_*
  15. Good thing I always play beta with Trial of Iron on I guess <_< And are you experiencing the issue? Well, yes, but at least I don't have to clean up the save files Plus currently loading saves is useless anyway since it seems to corrupt save files. I could swear that sometimes after reloading my characters are a lot stronger(or enemies a lot weaker) considering they usually die right away when combat starts. And when I check character with C it brings up gibberish instead of text it had before reload
  16. Good thing I always play beta with Trial of Iron on I guess <_<
  17. What about three wolfs on the other wilderness map?
  18. Well, that is just racist Jk, but yeah good example of "beauty = good" way of thinking
  19. I'm not sure whether you are supposed to be able to talk to her since apparently she is empty eyed afterwards <_<
  20. Yeaaah, animals aren't really realistic in the game, then again, animals aren't really realistic in any rpg... The bear example you mentioned is only one I can think of
  21. Eh, so far I've done with all classes I have chosen, though I'm playing on easy. I only get in trouble when stupid bugs that affect my characters happen Like, with druid you can charm beasts which is really powerful at the moment, for example, charm two spiders, they poison each other and then both die. I've also played with cipher and did pretty well until bugs forced me to restart and with chanter I just made little miscalculation and died <_< I don't really see why fighter would have the game being much harder, though I suppose I have to test higher difficulties and non magic classes Also, I play all on trial of irons, so yeah, I've done pretty well considering how much I suck in Baldur's gate But yeah, considering how predictable wild animals are, it might be good idea to lower their hp so they won't be as much a time sink. Then again, they don't take that long time anyway...
  22. So cryptmaster's key, the key you need to open final room in the dungeon with cultists, enters your characters' inventory instead of quest item inventory like all other keys. Funny, second bugged key(skeleton key can't be used to open skeleton keyhole) is also related to same dungeon. Then again, 3 out of 4 keys are related to same dungeon, so thats just the statistics. Expected behavior: Cryptmaster's key enters quest item inventory
  23. Shhh. If you say that then they will be "fixing" the game for eternity. I haven't played yet but I plan to install PoE tonight after work (thanks to the generosity of a fellow poster gifting me a key). I am concerned about the things Ive read and seen so far (constant resting, no kill xp is wonky) but Ill give it a fair shake tonight. Too late, your opinion will already be influenced by what you have already read
  24. Case in point, stubborn. The problem is lack of xp, if you do it per kill xp or encounter xp is another matter. I personalty prefer xp for every single enemy as opposed to encounter xp. Please don't imply that we are stubborn for having different opinion than you <_<
