  1. Hmm, game has some moments that require unnecessary clicking/micromanaging. Like, if you have whole party selected, you have to select single character to do lockpicking since if you try to do it with all of them, the closest to the door or chest tries to do it. This is double annoying since you have to double click portraits if you want to select character that way. Then there is that loot thing where if all party members are already full, you have to click stash icon to take everything instead of "take all" automatically putting them in stash when everyone else is full. Do people like clicking for minor things like that? <_< Seems like lots of traps involve fire, so it might be actually pretty good I suppose?*shrugs*
  2. So whats preventing you absent mindlendly clicking and sending the closest non rogue walking into his/her death? ...Since when the old school RPG means doing things inefficiently?
  3. <_< Ummm... Trap in an in? Trap in random door in random village? Trap before the door in dungeon that was already disarmed by me when I noticed it? Yeaaaah, I don't get what you mean. The way game currently works is that if all party members are chosen and you try to lock pick something, the one trying to open the door is the one closest to it instead of the one who CAN do it. Whats wrong with making it automatic who in the party attempts to open the door? Its kinda like how annoying it is that when party loot is full, you have to every time select stash before you are allowed to press take all.
  4. I was kinda surprised to find out I actually like the "Since you don't get exp from enemies, you can't level up your character to get that extra skill you need to get enough lockpicking skill to open this door instead of finding the key" aspect of the system <_< I mean, thats how I usually do the things, I'm like "Oh, little more exp... Dang it, wheres the next enemy" It does make the pacing feel different from old IE games though and it does avoid hitting the part of brain that feels pleasure for getting rewards for simple actions.
  5. It doesn't necessarily need to be "Fighter picks the locks if rogue has high enough skill", it could be that the character who has highest mechanism skill(instead of the one who is closest) is the one who goes to do lockpicking if whole party is chosen Duh, wasn't that obvious? <_<
  6. So first bug happened on my Trial of Iron playthrough <_< Fighter suddenly was unable to move and I was stuck because of that. But it fixed itself when I loaded save later Second bug happened on game I made after I got frustrated because of first bug, in that bug I tried to use rogue escape skill to get her away from beetles, but then cursor got stuck at skill cursor and stopped responding and even after combat ended cursor did nothing. I was able to click options though, but I wasn't able to control characters. I guess this might have also fixed itself if I had bothered to save and load that game
  7. I mean, its annoying that even though you have one party member with right amount of mechanic that you have to select him/her individually every time you want something to be unlocked <_< Especially since when you have whole party selected, the one who responds to click is the one closest to door/chest.
  8. By locked doors you mean the circle thing with sacrifices and cages? You can open those doors with mechanic 7 or old key you find somewhere in the area where you get pass other locked door or the chasm If you can't open the door with mechanic 4, which you should since BB Rogue has mechanic 6, use grapling hook to get past the chasm and go back way
  9. I thought this game didn't have weight and over exertion <_< And if it does have, how the heck you do remove items? My fighter is stuck so I'm stuck in this dungeon Weird... It fixed itself when I loaded a save. I guess it was bug then, time to report it
  10. This happened to my wizard, though I thought it happened because I loaded the save... Anyway, yeah, it explains why my wizard sucked against lions Its really bad bug since they can't cast spells without the book
  11. Edit: Yeah, figured out what I did was wrong Also, realized that equipment bug happened and that my wizard didn't have a grimoire because of it
  12. Edit: Nevermind, while manual saving seems impossible(that or time stamp is just wrong and I was confused because of it), it seems to autosave. They should make it obvious if it IS auto saving though so confusions like mine can be avoided <_<; How to delete or lock a thread? Well, since this isn't real issue, unless you count the fact I was confused about it, this thread should probably be erased?
  13. Its not literally endless though, it just have whopping 13 floors since amount of floors was decided by how much money was backer
  14. Me too. Every race and gender combination should have at least two portraits, three portraits for everyone would be better, but I'm wishing for bare minimum at least
  15. Hey, to be fair, I was really annoyed since this conversation was going on in gamescom thread as well Its kinda annoying to have exact same conversation in two different threads going on in exact same manner and I was kinda in bad mood when I came here to post Sorry for being rude though ^^;
  16. I think the problem might be that first button I pressed in whole game was D <_< Since my muscle memory says WASD moves camera. I didn't know its double speed button I have to test this later after going back to sleep whether that was cause of problem or whether normal speed is still unnaturally fast
  17. Wait, so D is double speed? Whelp, that explains why everything moves super fast <_< Thats the first button I pressed in whole game Since its in my muscle memory that WASD moves camera ^^;
  18. Ah. DANG IT I keep instinctively pressing WASD keys due to them moving camera in modern games <_< That must be it Thanks for the help!
  19. Yeah, I was forced to close off the game outside the game when I went to check which heads were invisible for sake of reporting <_< Odd that they didn't remember to make it possible to return to main menu
  20. Doh, noticed I accidentally wrote "at least two" instead of at least three <_< Ah well, minor mistakes
  21. So one thing that always bit annoyed me in portraits in IE games is that you have to go through all of them to find the you want <_< It'd be nice if there was quick search option that allows you to select portrait by race and gender. Like, click amauma portraits and it shows only them, that type of stuff. Just a minor thing, its not really that time consuming, espicially if final version doesn't increase amount of portraits much, which'd be unfortunate in my opinion.
  22. I think there will be probably more portraits in release. I mean, beta has only two voice options while the intro gameplay showed that they had way more voice options It'd be nice if final release had at least two different portaits for all race and gender combinations
  23. Yeah, even when not in combat, everyone moves really fast. It feels bit unnatural
  24. If you have high enough perception, when you do speech option with intelligence check with Medreth, you note that he(or was it she...) seems annoyed at your question So thats nice, high enough perception does stuff like that Also, personality based dialog options seem to be less about something happening and more about fleshing out your personality reputation, which felt odd to me at first since I'm too used to things next to dialog options being kinda like what skill checks are in fallout. Also, lore, perception and int checks seem to give you more information about people when you ask them stuff But yeah, not every option with skill is supposed to be useful <_< So far though, lore options seem to always give you more information
