  1. My sentiments exactly... ... Perhaps one day, in a galaxy far away, we'll get something like that in a Lucasarts crpg.
  2. Vader is my role model, I can't help it B)
  3. :D Even if doing word association, Explicit and Lucasarts would have a hard time appearing in the same thread
  4. Give the little guy a large promethium container and a fusion cell. Watch him fry the opposition with lightning arcs and flamers. He'll show HK-47 how it's done.
  5. I think, I'll wait until the game is released before making my mind up... It depends on how well the various options will be implemented in the game.

"Hhhmmgghhh!...." *Resisting urge to make some clever remarks*
  7. Hmmm, either flurry or power attack. Can't remember which Edit: removed image from quote... I used Flurry a lot but not Power Attack. Could it be Critical Strike? Didn't use that either. I noticed it a few times on enemies but my own character never had the 'glow'. When I played the game through the first couple of times, I didn't see it either. Then I discovered that well hidden &$%#$% setting under Graphics -> Advanced and it was a completely different game visually. It still annoys me that it was parked somewhere on the backrow
  8. Hmmm, either flurry or power attack. Can't remember which Edit: removed image from quote...
  9. *Sigh* Why are they so friggin' small ? Wallpapers please ? 1280x1024 or better ?
  10. A lightsaber with the attitude of HK-47 B)
  11. According to Oxford: gore n. blood shed and clotted [Old English, = dirt] Not sure if that was any help, but thats what the dictionary says
  12. Different people, different tastes. Some like apples, some like oranges, I like caviar, so I prefer the old BIS games over the Bioware games. Variety is good. Otherwise we would all be stuck with pacman still
  13. They were not "made" by Black Isle. They were "published". Black Isle being the crpg division of Interplay Edit: Well, I hope I got that one right... A small but profound difference
  14. Some people like the cosmetics as well, just look through the different topics on this board, not to mention the bioware board! Well, the poll did say: "Other (please state)."
  15. I want an immersive and fascinating game (story, plot. athmosphere etc.), that when I approach the end of the game will become all whiny and despair, wondering if there will ever be a game like that again ? Happened precious few times the last decade. Leave the cosmetics for the action games
  16. And so it came to be, that the pen was mightier than the lightsaber...
  17. Are there any of the known races in the SW universe, that are reminiscent of "Tieflings" ?
  18. Just a few more. Inspired by recent magazine articles Gamebanshee (iirc) mentioned higher polygon count. True or False ? If true, will these be in the facial (mouth/eye) region ? The lip sync could really use a little extra work in the close-up cutscenes Talking of talking, will aliens speech be better syncronised ? Like, better coherence between number of syllables and lip animations ? The transit system, will it be the same, or would it be possible to "click" on other known safe areas on the map to go there ? Or would that be too much work because of event and script based encounters taking place between locations ? Will there ever be enemies that simply surrender when hopelessly outclassed by the player ? Not "scripted" surrenders as such, but part of the AI ? Some of the opponents in Kotor suffered from a Kamikaze syndrome Or simply stay (visibly, like walking in a circle around) clear of the player and his (her) party when outgunned ? If for no other reason, then that warm and fuzzy DS feeling when you are mean and intimidating Will there be other missile type weapons ? Like, steal an arm and a leg from FPS games... disc throwes, gauss guns, rocket launchers etc. B) Off the record, will there be at least one npc somewhere in a blue jumpsuit with a yellow number on his back ?
  19. Blue jumpsuits with yellow numbers on the back! B)
  20. You my friend, represent all that is wrong with RPGs. Don't tell me, you like giant rats too?
  21. I like sewers It was slightly disappointing, that there wasn't one of those garbage compressor things on board the Leviathan.
  22. Why do I feel like an endangered species...?
  23. Nobody shall say, that I just gave up without a struggle
  24. Yes! You could be sent on a mission to help the vault dwellers on Taris to find the holy g.e.c.k. and rebuild civilisation on Taris Come on... There is going to be like what, 5-7 planets in the game ? All I ask for one measly planet. Please ?
  25. He did *not know* himself. That is why his mind became divided. *Sigh* Gorth is a poster that does not *know* the virtue of previewing his posts...
