  3. Hepatitis A? Tetanus? I wonder what kind of University you are joining. Sounds like the kind of place where the accountant from "The Untouchables" would come from. Edit: On topic, went out with a client yesterday. Had some food and some beer. Then more beer. Then more beer etc. Ended up at home, falling asleep at 10 (or thereabouts) just to wake up again at 3, unable to fall asleep again. Finally fell asleep somewhere between 5 and 6, just to hear the alarm clock at 7. What a way to start a new day
  4. That's a whole other kind of stupid that only the southern american states could produce... To be honest, I don't think she is "stupid", just "un-educated". The dialogue between her and the host is hilarious in a funny way though stupid, un-edumacated, I don't care... I get all gooey over that kinda girl Well, she probably knew that she would be subject to some degree of ridicule and went ahead anyway for the sake of charity. Kudos to her for having her heart in the right place if not a minimum of geography skills
  5. I think this one just turned Zombie...
  6. Our cats seemed to enjoy birds
  7. Thuring machines FTW
  8. Usually around the time they get hungry
  9. Why not? Your "incredible superspy" is not necessarily working for the CIA anymore. Regular supply lines may have dried up and you have to use a mixture of skills to accomplish goals. A good diplomacy skill might help you on the black market to secure new ammo.

  11. interesting, so, in the MEPC forum, where this problem emerged, it is now not anymore allowed to discuss it or complain about it (not to mention petitions). your thoughts? I think spam threads like this belong in the Bioware Off Topic forum... Alternatively, Mass Effect and DRM has already been discussed ad nauseam here: http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=49778
  12. *pop culture knowledge check* CRITICAL FAIL http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/River_Tam#River_Tam Heretic!
  13. I stand corrected. With my average lifespan in that game, it appeared unlimited
  14. Concept art or is that for "real"?
  15. Yay Hmm... I hope this game doesn't come out before my (overdue) hardware upgrade Unlimited ammo or not, I really want to play this game
  16. I love the way it tries to sneak it's way around the cat, just to end up startling it. Rawrr!
  17. See www.securom.com... Click on "Support" on the top menu, and then on "Support Info" on the left hand side for instructions.
  18. Ahh, sorry, don't know the answer to that one then
  19. Game controller?
  20. 2) Not running out of ammo is lame. If I wanted to not run out of ammo and have to kill all my enemies with a weapon that I like, I would be playing Unreal Tournament. It all depends on what you expect from the game I suppose. I like having choices (and consequences of those choices). If I choose to gun everything down as a solution, I better put some effort into filling up my pockets with ammo first. I am not sure that there are different weapon specialisation skills. If there isn't then that would be a moot point. You better be prepared to either make a run for it or start practising your kung-fu when the gun goes
  21. Thanks Hurlshot. That means that there is still room for my wettest deams and my worst nightmares regarding X-Com to come true
  22. If there were such a thing as a god of gaming (Ludo?) I would kiss his feet if that happened
  23. Yeah, boring I know I do prefer girls with a pulse though. If hot-blooded, even better so I live in a two-story place, with the upper floor having metal mosquito nets for all windows. Makes fast exits a bit of a problem. No guns, but a nice big knife. Since I can't cook and mostly re-heat ready made stuff, I've got plenty of cans with stuff that lasts 40 years. I live next to some golf courses and parklands, leading down to the local river, so I might just go for swim out to the beach and hope that the sharks like their meat well hung rather than fresh
  24. If I read it correctly, even the slowest DDR3 is "too fast" for current CPU's, the latter really only supporting speeds up to 10Gb/s (FSB1333)? And you need something like a hypothetical FSB running at 2666 to get genuine performance improvements? I wonder how it works with Intels next generation of cpu's though, they apparantly don't have an (external) "FSB".
  25. And passing the magical (and seemingly abitrary) count of 500... New thread here: http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=49834
