If you see what is happening in KOTOR is becuse the force... 2 wars with billions of casualities, the jedi order completely destroyed, the sith order in same situation... all due to the will of the force.... also note that this also what is happening in SW trilogy and no she doesn't want to change the people draining them or exposing them to malakor, she want to do that "exposing" them to the exile that can be an example for everyone. (she actually say that on Nar Shadda, when you feel the planet energy) even Visas after dantooine say something like... the master saw you as the death of the force, i see you as the hope for the livings, a hope for a life whitout the force.

for what i see jedis had 2 choices to be corrupted to darkside (the thing that Revan was looking for), or to die, as simply was not possible be near Malachor and be able to resist the corruption of the planet, and of the academy, that was feeded with the deaths of mandalorians and jedis. the Exile "found" the third way cutting himself from the force but this had generated the hole in the force there are a sort simplified visions but can give an idea of what i think had happened. there should be some 3D around in this forum that speak more deeply about it

i don't like it too much too, but i found its story very interesting
-
No, and that was kinda the point. why she should? she wants you to understand. and i have to notice inconsistencies too.
-
She never tried to hide who she is or her final intent
-
i'll go with the best or at least the more complex i know.

Atton is not dead

Yup is really a tormented story but was supposed to be like that, i had some time at the beginning that i was a bit sad about it, but slowly i also began to see "the light at the end of the tunnel" (maybe to be LS helped eheh ). At the end i found that this story is full of hope behind its dark cloak and i really appreciated it. for Bao-Dur, there is still the fact that you can't even ask Kreia about him and also in the char selection they alredy had space to place the remote (as Kreia is no more ingroup) whitout removing Bao-Dur (even if it can be "normal" to replace him as the remote is a part of himself) ....maybe is just that i think was better for him to die on malakor, trying to destroy what he have done.
-
i don't think so, if i remember right you can ask her even about droids and she tells you that she doesn't know about their destiny. also consider that this is the stratagem Obsidian used to resolve other character story, the fact that you can't ask her about Bao-Dur makes me think that you alredy know what happened to him and that, as he have not future, he died on Malachor.
-
Considering the drone holos i think is quite likelly, also he doesn't show anymore in the char selection window and you get no info from Kreia about him. (also so far i have not yet finished a game where he become a jedi, so maybe i'm wrong and Kreia speak about him only if you "convert" him)

You are the death of the force, when you severed your link on Malakor you become an hole to the force, the force can no more "dominate" you and you are free to express yourself. for a jedi a life whitout the force seem not possible and a man whitout it is gimped in their vision, you are the proof that they where wrong, you become greater than they can ever guess and able to shape your destiny (as no more controlled by the force). Now you represent also an example that a life whitout the force is not just possible, but also better and more complete than a life with it. this is also Kreia's goal.... to "forge" a true Man. reason above... is because is you eheh this part is missing and was cut from the game if you search a bit in this forum you can find posts (generally with cut end in the title) that explain what really happened (or was supposed to happen) They are alive, the only one that is supposed to die on Malachor (ingame) is Bao-Dur ehm and maybe a droid or 2 There some speculations and debate about that. Many people think that the bound was not lethal and Kreia fooled you, i'm more inclined to think that the bound was lethal but was cut on Malachor. (probably in the final battle) As said above there where many ending to the store and in one of them Atton died, this content is not ingame and was removed or not implemented. Is quite a difficult game, but IMO a fantastic one, is not strange to be a bit confused after the first time.... maybe try to play again as a LS and to try to learn as much as you can from all the npcs you meet in your journey.

even 1h is not so bad i noticed that the defence bonus from dueling can break the defence cap (but also haven't tried to see if the defence bonus of sabre components can do that too) what i'm sure is that the to hit bonus from 2 different sabre is applied only to the hand of the sabre, so if you have a sabre +2 to hit and a short sabre +3 to hit you will not get +5 to hit but +2 on an hand and +3 on the other. for offence it depends by char powers/skills but generally a good jedi can do at least 5 attacks with a pole sabre or 2 sabres, so to lose an attack is not so terrible, expecially if you get a to hit bonus to compensate. comparing to other sabres 1h sabre vs pole - 1h get better defence, to hit bonus and better criticals, but lose a bit of damage and an attack. 1h sabre vs 2 sabres - 1h have better to hit bonus and better or equal defence, it loses in versatility and have 1 less attack (even if that one is generally a lower damage one) Overall i think all sabres are pretty balanced, i think it really depends by taste and how you build the char.

the second one, she says that her eyes got damaged some time ago (probably when Nihilus and Sion betrayed her), she can also repair her eyes if she want but she doesn't need to do that as she can also see trough the force.

He didn't recognize him but if i remember right is also not a total stranger to him. Also i think too that they where not married and their relationship was secret, but still Yusanis followed her to the war so we can suppose that they fought togather. I think it can be that he didn't know her directly or he didn't know who she was, but also probable that he saw her around and they even fought toghater. So i don't say he should recognize Kreia, but that maybe she should not seem completely stranger to him. (all of this also implying that he didn't know her before) tought and retought about it and finally decided to stay to what the Exile said... that he doesn't remember Kea, if Kea is Kreia she had the means to do that and to hide her presence, she says that she is not manipulating the Exile mind but this doesn't imply that she haven't done it in the past. Maybe is just that, as said in the beginning, to see them as the same persone is a strong and old temptation, but i can consider this point resolved. (if really the exile doesn't know Kea before the war) But still the first point is in place.

Is it true that we don't know what happened, but to have a child and to keep it secret is not alredy a sign of her fall? This way an eventual betrayer can't be after the child (as someone that reveal her secret), consider also that this should not be a 'simple' betrayal, Kreia says something like that only who had his heart betrayed can start this path, so the betrayer should have been someone she loved. still we doesn't know too much of her past, it could be a young lover (for example i tried to figure out for fun a story of Kreia and i placed the betrayer during Exar-Kun war even if generally Revan is considered the betrayer), but even in this case this story seem to be so pivotal to her fall He didn't recognize him but if i remember right is also not a total stranger to him. (all of this also implying that he didn't know her before) little note for the handmaiden, i think she have no recollection of her mother because actually she almost never saw her. If she had to be keept in secret is probably that was the father to grow her up, while the mother stayed mostly at the jedi enclave.

still my doubts are valid, i say that because i tried to figure out the same things and what i tought was not so dissimilar to your story, but then i was not able to overcome that 2 important points and had to discard it.

Ok i'm not objective as i really like Visas, but i think she have a lot of potential, in my opinion, after Kreia, is the most importat character. Probably is true that she have not too much to say, but what she say is extremely important and when Kreia is no more a guide she replace her in that role. I also don't consider her so submissive yes she have some attitude like that, but is what she is or what she appear to be?

nono i was not referring to the name darth traya, as you say is just a title when i speak of the betrayal path i inted the process that 'permit' to become a darth traya. this path start with the character that suffer a betrayal, Atris is betrayed by the exile and at that point start her fall. If Kreia is Kea we don't see her clearly betrayed, the fact she had the handmaiden and kept that a secret, hiding her to the jedi seem to point that she alredy started her fall and probably she felt for love not for betrayal. for my other doubt is also true that the exile tells that he doesn't remember Kea, but this imply that if he see her he will not be able to recognize her as someone familliar even if not exactly who? or maybe he just doesn't remember her in the mandalorian wars?
-
I had some suspicions about that too, there are some hints that seem to point to that... even the fact that Kea died on Malachor and her body was never found can be a hint of her 'final fall' but there are some things that made me discard the idea... the betrayal path is quite fundamental for Kreia, to follow this path she have to be betrayed before to become a betrayer, if Kreia is Kea this path seem to lose strenght as it seem that no one betrayed her before her exile. the Exile was an important officer and he knew Hndmaiden's father so is quite likelly that he knew, at leas by sight, even Kea (who is both the wife of an important officer and a former master of Revan himself) and it seem very strange that he didn't recognize Kreia. Is also true that Kreia tells to the Exile that she had the power to erase her presence even from the memory but it seem that she doesn't use that technique with him. as said there are many hints about the possibility that Kreia and Kea are the same person, they have both some things that can explain the other character and the temptation is really strong, but these 2 doubts are really big ones, so for now i'm inclined o think that they are 2 different characters.
-
Just adding my compliments to Sara Kestelman... best interpretation i remember in a video game and ehm, cough, a lot better than many we se from more famous actors in various movies..... Kreia is an awesome character and her voice makes her really live.
-
Yes i think that too, but i see it more as a jutification for its existance rather than its reason. also is likelly that a ship of that power where used as capital ship by Revan himself and for what we know (or suppose) he was not in the heart of battle and so near Malachor. but anyway it seem the best reason to have that ship in game.
-
Is a pertinent question, but consider that the ravager was created by Obsidian after KOTOR, so in no way we can have it in the previous game... I think Obsidian looked to create a unique ship for Nihilus, a ship that inspired fear and power... the ISD is a recognizable warship, with all of this and they draw the Nihilus ship resembling that ship (as the Ebon Hawk for example resemble the Falcon). I think the design itself is good, and it really looks like a fearsome ghost ship, but also it crushed against continuity as obiously we never saw a similar ship in KOTOR. The ship itself seem a bit distant from the other republic ships (generally way smaller and with a very different design), but still less than the Leviatahn with all its curved lines.
-
mmmmmm but that makes not an alien design just a copy of a republic ship alien or unknown design seem to point more to the shape or the class of the ship not where it was made.
