  1. it depends master force speed + 1 weapon = 3 attacks master force speed + 2 weapon = 4 attacks now with flurry you get rispectively 4 and 5 attacks or 4 and 5 times base damage. master critical strike doesn't add any attack but it multiply by 4 the chance of crit (x2 damage), a normal sabre with a nextor crystal (or some components that add crit) have a base chance of 17-20 so with master critical you get around 80% to score a crit. so with 3 attacks you should get 2 criticals for a total of 5 base damage and with 4 attacks 3 criticals for a total of 7 base damage. on top of that the opponent have to roll to resist to stun for each crit. sure, it still have drawbacks on to hit and def, and you have to put some +crit components, but with master speed (and a decent str) is quite deadly.
  2. to have the exile alive doesn't necessary mean that its emplyer didn't want to kill him/her and his behaviour is quite illogical... for example the part you say, when it tells to exile to go back in the kolto tank is quite suspicious... the harbringer (who HK-50 probably knew was captured by siths) dock at the station with the clear intention to get the exile and it ask him/her to go back in the tank? is obvious that they will get the exile and will private HK from its bounty, the logical thing was to try to flee with the EH and the exile at that point, at least he had a chance to recapture him/her and it happened almost the same on the harbringer... another strange coincidence is that the harbringer was able to dock at perargus station... who trasmitted them the asteroid drift chart? and another one... HK was probably able to pilot the EH... so, knowing they where chased by siths and after the elimination of all miners, why not to actually bring him/her on the ship and carry him/her to its employer (to nar shadda) instead to await at the station? as said i think too is way more probable that it works for GoTO, but imo there is not a real proof that confirm it or can clearly deny that it was "working" for the siths
  3. but a curiosity... as said i don't know Thrawn too much but... he had not a military advantage over his enemies? as i know imperial fleet was superior to rebel one and i think even to new republic ones... new TIEs (adv and def) where a lot better than various X/A/B-wings, even various new versions and same for various missiles/gunboats ISD and even VSD where also far superior to moncal class capital ship
  4. for me it means mostly freedom as you can play in the way you prefer whitout be really forced to do some choices. you can play a LS oriented Exile that chose to side with Vaklu because s/he think it will be the best for onderon or a DS oriented char who help refugees and spare a master or 2... you can go with the full jedi hero or sith villain but you can also do just the choice you like whitout worring that much about how a single choice will impact the outcome of your game.
  5. don't know much about Thrawn so i go with Revan Revan actually won 2 wars and in the manda wars s/he was in big disadvantage the republic was about to fall, its army/fleet alredy suffered many losses and had very bad morale... s/he was able to change the face of the war... also in case both had similar skill Revan had the advantage of the force... to be able to see the (probable) future should be not bad in a battle/war
  6. just a note... even if you are DS and alredy killed a master you are not forced to kill Zez-Kai Ell
  7. it depends by your reply to the 2 guys speaking about politics
  8. ouch even aboard the harbringer... mmmm maybe your problem is a bit different than mine... if i remember right the engine have troubles with dual processor (dual core?) systems but there should be a way to go with just 1 proc maybe you can also try to put cpucount=2 and see if it get better, but is just an idea and don't know if it will change anything... maybe try to run a forum search for dual processor/dual core, it could be that your problem is indeed that one and you find some hint to fix it.
  9. no, is just how various force powers stack on each other and on armors. there should be a sort of +8 cap from defence bonuses obtained by force powers (armor and speed) and also robes are considered as force bonus too... so you should get same results if you activate your powers indipendently. also check your version for upgrades, force speed should be +4 now and not anymore +6 to def.
  10. lol nono if i remember right you have to fight them normally... is just that at the end of the fight you still get the LS power/ending... mmmm ok next game i do i'll go for a mixed
  11. miners we don't really know, we know she was mostly conscious at peragus (when exile was inside the tank), we don't know if she was consious even when she was aboard the EH probably the answer was inside the HK-50 factory... but as it is not ingame... is supposed to be exchange/goto (even goto at some point say that assassin droids are looking for the exile because it asked them) but as said the behavior of HK-50 aboard the harbringer and at perargus is pretty suspicious and makes it possible to ipotize it was programmed by the siths to hunt the exile.
  12. i have same problem on dant (and only dant) i think there is some big bug there and not really a graphical lag problem as it doesn't happen everytime generally it start when i do a certain action (like to speak with a char or enter in a place) and stop when i do some different action (like to speak with another char or resolve a certain mission) as this problem happens when you are looking at a particular point. generally it seem to be located on the hill near khunda (?), i simply "go backward" when i'm heading in that direction... so my advice is... if you have a similar problem try to rotate the camera in the opposite direction and then go backward until you will no longer head toward the point that is probably causing the troubles
  13. the exile was on the harbringer traveling to telos, she was not a soldier, just a passenger (and probably didn't even wanted to go to telos) the harbringer intercepted the distress signal of the ebon hawk and, after the request of a republic admira, went to investigate. (probably) boarded the hawk to retrive it and explored the sith warship, while they where exploring the second one a contingent of "invis" sith assassins entered in the republic ship and awaited sion's orders the republic soilders found both ship deserted, the crew on EH was dead and the sith ship was "empty" (actually siths where just invis) save for sion's "corpse" (and here is not much clear is sion was considered dead or not as is quite strange they put a corpse in a kolto tank) HK50 wich mission is to capture the exile, "sabotaged" the harbringer systems and gave to the exile an high dose of medicines to make her uncounscious, then hide her body in a container. sion awaken and the attack of the sith start, the harbringer is captured and during confusion Kreia (who probably was on the EH) was able to localize Exile's body and to carry it to the EH, HK probably followed her on the ship and in some way ended in the locked compartment. (maybe Kreia put it there). probably the EH is attacked, Kreia become uncounscious (or fake dead) and we are now in the situation we meet in the prologue. a thing or 2... it seem likelly that was not HK to bring the Exile on the EH as even HK say that someone on the EH tried to get her body and to rob it from its bounty. Kreia tells to the exile that was her who located her body in Harbringer cargo and transported it on the EH. we also don't really know why HK-50 is looking for the exile, it speak about an employer and probably is goto... but is also quite strange HK behaviour in fact both on the harbringer and at perargus it really seemed he was awaiting for the siths. so it could also be that in both situations it informed the siths about the exile position, made her uncounscious and awaited the siths to take her. it could also be that kreia was actually not on the EH but aboard the sith warship, Kreia have no problems to hide her presence so it could be that she boarded the harbringer with other siths (not very probable but still possible)
  14. mmm are you sure? i admit is a lot of time that i don't do a "mixed" game, but if i remember right the power and ending you get is bound to your LS/DS status and not to the master themselves
  15. imo was pretty good, not as spectacular as other ones but it was so adventurous in its simplicity... the linear story, its classical character so well mixed and some nice dialogues. but i admit that i'm way more surprised by the result of ep3, imo hands down the worst of the serie and generally quite a bad movie.
  16. agree with the above poster and i also think is a good thing of the game every planet (telos included) can be played as you want and you are not forced to side a faction or another in reguard of your alignment there are planets where the distinction between good and evil is very evident (nar shadda or dant) but others where such distinction is not that evident... for onderon in particular i consider the "evil" side to be more benefical in the end and i think is a nice thing for the fact that guards call you sith (even if you are LS) i think it can be easilly explained... Vaklu is allied with sith so queen guards are fighting both soldiers and siths is quite natural that, looking at you in battle, they will consider you a sith... they will not know who you really are... even Kavar that call you dark one imo makes sense, you have to consider that the council think you are responsable for the jedi deaths, also you are an hole in the force, so probably they can't feel if you are good or evil by the force so in the end what defines you in his eyes are your "evil" actions
  17. note: i saw the "translated" movies so i have not hear much the original voice and voice expressions imo Christiansen was not that bad, after McDiarmid (veeeery good palpatine) and C. Lee, SLJ and L. Neeson is probably the actor i liked the most in the first trilogy instead imho both N Portman and E. McGregor made a very poor performance... in particular i don't like much the McGregor's Obi-Wan it totally lack the charm of the "original" A. Guinness character. but anyway i can't not even blame the actors too much, this new trilogy totally lack the inspiration of the old one, dialogues and characters are bland and flat and there are some quite terrible scenes... ...maybe guys at obsidian should start to do movies.... an my fav SW movies are ANH and ESB...
  18. she say that in the end, after you defeat her and ask her about the future of your friends speaking about Mira she say something like... she was not born to be a predator, despite her true father
  19. no i just think she "supposed" to be a slave... we have no proof she was really a slave, she just think about it cause they made her work to help the clan and had not a "normal family" but that can just be the way mandalorian educate their childrens... i admit i don't know mandaloreans too well, but that seem very possible to me considering they seem to be structured in clans, with a strict gerarchy and they are a race of warriors. i'm more inclined to think that children where more considered as children of clan than to a family and, due to their culture, used to benefit and help the clan teaching them discipline and mandalorean virtues. consider also that as mand where warriors there where probably a lot of orphans so it also make sense to have the clan take care of childs instead of real parents
  20. for me it depends by char if the char is going to have master speed + dual wield then flurry is not that efficent and both power and critical generally perform better damagewise and get the stun/kd bonus (only exception is if the char have sneak attack(?) and group use aoe stuns) if char have master speed + single then if he have good str power/crit if not flurry with normal speed generally i use flurry, exept if the char have an exceptional str or weapons have some peculiar bonuses between power and crit depends by weapon equipped... crit when possible
  21. mah imho close between malak and Bandon i agree Bandon was a bully moron... the right apprentice for Malak.. but Malak had to be soooo whiny.... when they go to the starmap "temple" in dantooine he whine all the time, also he always gave me the impression to be "weak" and just to live in Revan's shadow... not to say that he even avoided any confrontation with Revan.
  22. Her Mandalorian clan did. But her biological family was killed by the Mandalorians. a bit OT but i think she was really a mandalorian, she "think" to be captured and used as "worker" but we don't really know if that is true as she doesn't remember well when she was a child. so it seem to me that she actually suppose to have been a slave for such reasons and don't really know about it. looking at mandalorian i will not be surprised if they used childs to help where possible, peace and "normal life" are a luxury for them and they where focused on war/battle so it seem quite logical that everyone had to contribute to the war efforts in a way they where capable. also when Kreia speak about Mira in the end she mention her father as a fighter/predator and this seem to point to mandalorians.
  23. YW glad you resolved your issue and enjoy the game, is a veeeery good one... good dialogues, sotry, deep, drammatic... actually is one of my fav games
  24. mmmmm strange it never happened to me... with the 3 systems shut down it should open... ther's also a locked door in the south of the yacht (opposite from the place you enter) clicking on it you receive a message from goto, is not important but maybe is required to proceed. maybe try that, if you still have problems PM me your mail i should be able to send you the savegame. uops sorry was south and not north... north is the exit... bad memory "
  25. mah for TSL i had not noticed soo much demand to have it released before the release date. want to point on before, as this is the only game i know in wich happened i can't really think that so many people want a game released before its time and for my experience when a date is chosen, people look for that date and not a previous one. so i'm don't really agree with the idea that was fanbase who pushed that date (as it probably happened with SWG), is not what i saw and is not very logical... for TSL i blame lucas that imo forced devs to rush the game to hit the "christmass market"
