This was very annoying to me. I have a giant bear, please let him tank for me. Hey mate, you can get your pet in the front by right clicking on the formation icon in the middle ui on screen. There you can create pretty much any party formation you want. I find it pretty fantastic. My stag has a white box as icon there, so I just drag it to the frontline next to the BB fighter. Hope it helped. -
Honestly it's just nice that the game pays homage to that iconic line.

I never customize portraits in my first run anyways and it always results in me linking the original portrait with the companion. I save custom portraits to that wacky modrun later.

Grey Delisle only voiced 3 party members in the baldurs gate games. She can go for another round in PoE. Furthermore I am going to be outraged, if Dee Bradley Baker isn't voicing all the pets in awesome voices!

Looking fantastic overall. Love the size and design of the wolves. They were so puny in BG, here they're real beasties!

I find that in many newer games, all the good ideas are packed into the first two hours, which are incredible detailed, well constructed, fun and with awesome gameplay. Then it seems like the creative vibe falls significantly. I hope PoE won't make that mistake. I do, however, agree that the first two hours should establish a connection with the player and a reason for him/her to care about playing the game.

It was obviously amazing, when you picked up The holy Avenger from Firkraags corpse for the first time. But if I had played another class, I'd probably been sad. If PoE should take inspiration from the IE weapons, 15 years later, I'd rather pick up Lilarcor than Carsomyr.

Love the update. I have never seen the reason to play a barbarian in the IE games, but the wild sprint in particular seems like an amazing tool. Gotta kill those mages fast! Great job as always! Btw is the portrait a backer or npc?

I've just done a BG 2 play through and I noticed that even thou Minsc is bald his paper doll got beautiful yellow hair. Would be a nice small thing if paper dolls could be bald.

Hey guys first post. love the topic. Therese and Jeanette from Vampire Bloodlines, thou they're not that minor I suppose. Well, besides for Grey Delisles amazing voice acting the girls are just lovely. The merchant and Hunnigan from resident evil 4. Well, the merchant is just awesome and I felt Hunnigan was a really cool character even when you don't meet her "in the flesh". Agent Parasini from the Mass Effect trilogy (first met in noveria). Even as a minor character, I really felt that she was convincing and with alot of personality.
