  1. You can stream it over Netflix, it is a great show. It was also on BBC America the other day, I convinced my wife to watch an episode and she dug it.
  2. I don't think they need to abandon to island, they just need to make sure they rebuild with strong earthquake codes in mind. I understand this is easier said than done, though.
  3. It's pretty wet out, and there are a lot of dumb drivers on the road. Plus my crutches keep slipping on the pavement.
  4. I would have rather seen another actor in the role than Will Smith. I'm happy with Will Smith in pretty much any role.
  5. Hm, strange, first time I played through I hit 50 and would have probably got higher if I hadn't had to finish the game to unlock past 50. I hit 50 originally as well, but I was replaying it on the PC (I played originally on the 360) and I think it was because I kinda blew through a lot of combat and lock picking stuff. I actually pretty much ignored containers after awhile, I got tired of the game quick.
  6. Yeah, but was it better than Waterworld? It was better than Waterworld but not as good as the Postman. But it also wasn't like 4 hours long, so there ya go.
  7. The Book of Eli - Well, this was tough to review. As a film, it was pretty average. There were some good parts and bad parts. It was too slow in a few spots. The acting was very good and kept the pacing from being too unbearable. But as a post apocalyptic flick, it was very good. It had some Mad Max/Fallout parts that were just a delight and made it worth the price of admission. Plus I liked the overall plot, it was better than a generic purify the water and reconnect with daddy plot.
  8. People did rave about Assassin's Creed. There was the huge repetition complaint, but there were also some redeeming qualities mentioned. Plus the look and feel was pretty nice. It wasn't my cup of tea, but I can see the appeal. I heard AC2 really improved on the formula though.
  9. I just replayed the original and only got to level 47. I did like every side quest I saw, went to a ton of planets, and still fell short. Ah well, at least I have a save game with the choices I want.
  10. He makes good films when he's broke?
  11. I read that in Game Informer as well. Bummer.
  12. It's basically Boiling Point in space. Google-translated review here (8/10): http://tinyurl.com/y8sawkp Russian isn't easily translated as they use a lot of multi-word expressions in their language, but you'll get the gist of it. What? I'm still pretty bummed about no JA3. It sounded like it had a shot, with the Silent Storm engine and members form that team working on it. Sure, it was never going to be as good as JA2, but Silent Storm was a solid enough title to lend some hope.
  13. I had three wounds by the end.
  14. That was fun, I finished as a god with a nice little kingdom. Unfortunately my elite goblins weren't very god, but ah well.
  15. I thought the dwarf commoner origin was the best, but I only played that and the human noble.
  16. I don't think they really had the time to develop those characters, given everything else that was going on. It was already a pretty long movie.
  17. I think he's fantastic on Law and Order:SVU too. Him and Munch!
  18. Started Kings Bounty, hopefully I'll get some time to really enjoy it this weekend.
  19. I thought it was the bee's knees.
  20. I agree with you alanschu, in fact I had said earlier that Marleau needs to maintain his current game for another few seasons to really be considered great. And really, Krookie is just saying Marleau is playing at the highest level this season, which is obvious to anyone who watches a few Sharks games. He is only 30, so if he puts up 70-80 points for the next four seasons, which is plenty possible, that will give him decent numbers. He would still need to shine in the playoffs to really gain a better reputation though. His numbers are good, but not close to the HoF at all. Although I hesitate to go strictly by points per game on measuring greatness. As for Graves, I really don't know much about him, I was just saying that to bug Volo
  21. I think the human versus dog comparison fails due to the complex nature of humans. Humans are much more a product of their environment than their race. There are some cool genetic difference though, like sherpas.
  22. Actually Marleau led the Sharks to the playoffs a couple years before the arrival of Thornton. And Heatley is a goal scorer, that's his role. A team built around him would not go anywhere, as was evidenced in Atlanta. Is there any team in the league that would be the best team if they built around one star player? Every top team has multiple stars on it.
  23. THEN WHO WAS PHONE? The calls are coming from inside the house!
  24. I can agree with that. Maybe if they do more exploration and leave Pandora altogether, but that's unlikely.
  25. That does lend a lot more credence to Loghain's actions.
