So basically, Torment in name only? I hear it is basically Wasteland with swords. Or maybe Wasteland is going to be Torment with guns.

Downloading now Heh, I was on my phone so I kept it brief. So far I only played through the tutorial, but the character creation is fantastic and I've spent over an hour with that alone. My daughter also wanted to play and she has made a Wonder Woman character.

DC Universe Online - Surprisingly good so far.

I'll take the Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav, since folks were just talking about it and now I'm interested.

I've never heard of Dark Eye, so I concede that it could be your praise of the IP that threw me off.

Er, I hope you're asking me how much it costs and not how much I get for promoting this game or something like that. Because I get nothing and I'm just excited about this (and skeptical, like I said) and want people to know about it. You seem like a pretty regular poster somewhere, but Bester has a point about the tone of your post. It starts out with: But then you go on to heap lavish praise about it, which doesn't really add up. I don't really believe you just found out about it a few minutes before you made this thread. Don't get me wrong, the game sounds interesting and I've been keeping an eye on it myself, but your post does come across as a dishonest sales pitch.

Yeah I'm pretty hesitant about these early access things. I think my attention span is better served by playing the finished product.

2/9 as well. I tended to err on the side of bleakness, some of the gains were quite positive.

SW: The Old Republic - Episode VI (The Old Menace)
Hurlshort replied to Gorth's topic in Computer and Console
They actually explain it in game when you take the quest from the purity tester guy. I think it has something to do with the original darkside humans and the sith race and their purity of the force. Regardless it is less about your skin tone and more about your genetics and power within the force. They are worried about it being diluted by weaker force members.- 505 replies

My wife, who teaches PE, was called into the principal's office once for yelling at a group of students who were not doing what they were supposed to do. One of them recorded it. The principal, who has no children, asked my wife if she would talk to her daughter like that. She couldn't help but laugh. Of course we yell at our kids!

I bought Sid Meier's Pacific Skies for $4.50 last night, played it for a bit, and got two cards. I then sold the one card for 50 cents and another for 25 cents. Who the heck is buying these things?
-
It really is the job of the parents to teach their kids how to lose with some dignity. But yeah, schools should be preparing students for the real world, not pampering and coddling them.

Picked up a Sid Meier game called Pacific Skies for a few bucks, it's pretty addicting. I'm just a sucker for anything with Sid's name on it.

You are crazy, she is sporting a solid C cup in the game. Lets put it into another perspective: Pretend that i am a woman that says that the bigger a **** is, the better, and you're saying: "whoa! hold on there girl, 7 inches is quite enough!" All while Alan wants to add that the curvature is more aesthetically pleasing than the size. You are actually saying 7 inches might as well be a vagina, since you said her current rack is like a boys chest. Also I want to go to whatever school mkreku went to if they look like this:

It's really not. Lara Croft looks way better in the most recent game than she did with her big pixelated triangles in the earlier versions. She's still wearing a tank top and short shorts, so I fail to see how it was some religious or feminist movement to cover her up. Both of the cartoony people look ridiculous. I'm sure there is a market for that type of art, but it shouldn't be surprising that it isn't mainstream.

So I saw a trailer for this new Wolfenstein game and it looked amazing! http://youtu.be/BlvfqfGTar4

Keyrock, that really depends on what type of rooftops you want to jump on. Seriously though, I'd say the original AC2 is a good jumping off point. It will probably pop up in the Steam winter sale for cheap too. AC1 is cool because you get to jump around amazing historical sites like Jerusalem and Acre, but most people prefer AC2. I'm currently playing AC: Revelations, which is like AC2 part 3 or something. But it takes place in Constantinople and I'm in love with the city itself.

I'm looking forward to Woldan hitting his 30's. I've been running a lot lately, 4-5 days a week if I can. Usually just a mile or two, and then I do push ups and sit ups. When I get away on my own, or go directly after work, I can knock it out in about 30 minutes. But about half the time I end up taking my son with me and he runs for a bit as well. It's pretty comical. Today we wandered over to the football field and knocked over those tackling dummy things for a bit. Since I started doing this, I'm feeling better at my weekly hockey games, so that's nice. I'm still not as fast as I was a few years ago, but every little bit helps.

you know, I've heard and seen this come up a bunch of times, and I don't think it's true When you break up an asteroid into a lot of tiny little pieces, you increase the surface area by such a large amount, that I believe it would burn up a significantly larger portion of the meteorite in the atmosphere, rather than if you can one big chunk with a limited surface area. I'm pretty comfortable leaving this whole scenario in the hands of rocket scientists.

It's not like I have a Batman show on TV to compare it to, so I don't see the big complaint in that regard. They do play up the sociopath angle a lot more than Batman ever does. I guess it isn't overly political, but I'm happy about that.

Congrats on the baby, by they way
