Kickstarter disappointments
I pumped 80 hours of time into it in about a week, so I can't complain. The toolset was the real gem for me. If you own Shadowrun and haven't tried at least one of the user created adventures, you aren't really making full use of the game. Although I think it will be more interesting to see how good the mod community after a year and the expansion. Heck, they already fixed the save system.

Kickstarter disappointments
It didn't help that the name was a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Modern MMO - how it should be
Eh, it sounds like a lot of work. It actually kind of sounds like Vanguard.

Kickstarter disappointments
That's why you are the besterest. I haven't been disappointed by anything, but I've only received Shadowrun as a pledgee. I happily bought Expedition Conquistadors and FTL though, and they were great. I expect to be let down a bit by a few of the Sierra Alum making games, but honestly I felt I owed them for all the great childhood memories. Shroud of the Avatar might be a bomb too, but I put a low bid in.

Wasteland 2 Kickstarter
Yeah, that Ruh(hic)anger line is badly written. The bullet to the knee doesn't bother me as much, it isn't that blatant.

Obsidian's (rumoured) next kickstarter, what would you want to see?
DX:HR is definitely a FPS. After the tutorial it does slow down quite a bit though. It's basically a shooter for the first 30 minutes, and then you can play anyway you want after. I have trouble with the fast paced FPS games as well, but DX:HR never bothered me.

Obsidian's (rumoured) next kickstarter, what would you want to see?
That's funny because I dropped D3 super fast, while I finished up XCOM, DXHR, FONV, and SR.

That also means some loser reported him for that. Those should be the people targeted.

What are you playing now?
I picked up Planescape Torment for sale on GoG. I hadn't played it since college, and I don't remember much of the content past the mortuary, so it has been interesting learning about the world a second time. I never finished it back in the day, so this might be the playthrough that gets me there.

Obsidian's (rumoured) next kickstarter, what would you want to see?
What the heck is Diesel Punk? Anyways, I'd be happy with a futuristic setting, maybe a bit bleak, but not full on Fallout post-apoc. You kind of left out Fantasy, but I guess PE handles that.

Obsidian MMO?
I wouldn't read much into this. Obsidian has been pretty smart business wise in creating relationships with other developers and helping with projects outside of their in house ones. That doesn't mean they are making an MMO.

Procreation is pointless and unethical
I have no idea if a non-zero probability means it is possible or impossible, however I would think the odds would vary depending on how close you live to said leopard. And given current fashion trends, I'd say the odds that a child will come into contact with leopard print to be very high, which we should probably chalk in the 'reasons to not reproduce' column. edit: I was really hoping we'd get more traction out of this thread, but the original poster seems uninterested in seeing it through.
- Any chance they will start working on Wheel of Time games again?

Procreation is pointless and unethical
It might be criminal not bring a child into the world in this day and age. We've got Skylanders, for goodness sake. My kid can take a toy, put it on a portal, and it shows up in a video game. It's a magical world.

Movies you've seen recently
Huh, the new Hobbit movie has been getting good reviews. I'll probably enjoy it, I liked the first one.

Where Youtube is going
I'm assuming you are playing devil's advocate here. A video game is far from a blank slate, you are still coloring within the lines that the content creator has provided. It is much closer to a movie than a blank canvass. If I take a movie and jumble up the clips randomly, it doesn't make me a director.
