So I saw a trailer for this new Wolfenstein game and it looked amazing! http://youtu.be/BlvfqfGTar4

Keyrock, that really depends on what type of rooftops you want to jump on. Seriously though, I'd say the original AC2 is a good jumping off point. It will probably pop up in the Steam winter sale for cheap too. AC1 is cool because you get to jump around amazing historical sites like Jerusalem and Acre, but most people prefer AC2. I'm currently playing AC: Revelations, which is like AC2 part 3 or something. But it takes place in Constantinople and I'm in love with the city itself.

I'm looking forward to Woldan hitting his 30's. I've been running a lot lately, 4-5 days a week if I can. Usually just a mile or two, and then I do push ups and sit ups. When I get away on my own, or go directly after work, I can knock it out in about 30 minutes. But about half the time I end up taking my son with me and he runs for a bit as well. It's pretty comical. Today we wandered over to the football field and knocked over those tackling dummy things for a bit. Since I started doing this, I'm feeling better at my weekly hockey games, so that's nice. I'm still not as fast as I was a few years ago, but every little bit helps.

you know, I've heard and seen this come up a bunch of times, and I don't think it's true When you break up an asteroid into a lot of tiny little pieces, you increase the surface area by such a large amount, that I believe it would burn up a significantly larger portion of the meteorite in the atmosphere, rather than if you can one big chunk with a limited surface area. I'm pretty comfortable leaving this whole scenario in the hands of rocket scientists.

It's not like I have a Batman show on TV to compare it to, so I don't see the big complaint in that regard. They do play up the sociopath angle a lot more than Batman ever does. I guess it isn't overly political, but I'm happy about that.

Congrats on the baby, by they way

Step aside, Shaker. GRIMOIRE is finally here!

I was knocked out when they put a rod in my leg, and then when they pulled it out. I threw up quite a bit when I came out of it both times. I also had a pretty heavy serving of local when they did my knee surgeries, and ended up falling asleep for both of those.

So is Batman like Jar Jar Binks? They are very similar in terms of the character, but so far I'm enjoying the actors and the story. There is a more psychotic element to the Green Arrow though, he's more of a killer even though he argues he is not.

If it makes you feel better Bruce, I didn't get the bear either. Actually I'm a bit concerned how many of you know what that is.

I watched the first episode of Arrow and was impressed. I'm adding it to my watch list.

The Tex Murphy games are my favorite ones that used FMV, but they had the perfect lead actor for that.

Our house is pretty isolated as well, we will take the kids near their school and trick or treat with some friends. Although sometimes we stop off at our neighbors just to say hi, they give us some odd stuff when we do that.

Hey I respect all companies for their choice of making money instead of making relevant and smart video games. Ugh, who am I lying to... Yeah, no. Obsidian and inXile I respect. I've yet to see a good game from them. What games they made so far - I dropped them after 1 hour or so. But I have a very good feeling about Torment and PoE. I love Troika I guess. You can love dead things, right? I know this is a bit of a schtick for you, but I don't really see why you would play games at that point.

Monte is Hurlshot. There is no way oby is LoF. One was a decent writer and the other just cuts and pastes.

All this Halloween stuff has been a bit exhausting, but my kids look good. Thankfully my school district was smart enough to schedule a staff workday tomorrow instead of a regular school day, so that should be pretty relaxing. Sitting in meetings is a cake walk.

We are living in the Golden Age of video games right now.

EA is a very large company, so generalizing the entire corporate culture as a sweatshop is a bad idea. It is safe to say that they've had development houses in the past that were badly managed from an HR perspective, but I haven't heard any horror stories from EA in a good number of years.

I do grin a bit to know that Carlos Beltran came up short again for a WS title. I know he's a nice guy, but he's pretty much got the worst luck out there when it comes to winning a ring.

I never actually played through that part, but frankly the whole Revanite storyline in TOR is one of my favorite parts.- 505 replies

It took me way too long to get the hair joke, that's hilarious. I hate Axe with a passion, but that BF4 commercial is great. It's actually the most tame Axe commercial I've seen. I like that the girl is dressed in full combat gear and not something skimpy.

Any time people are throwing around wishes for bankruptcy and using cancer as a metaphor, you can probably bet they are overreacting. When the subject is video games, it's even more ludicrous.
