  1. So I decided to drop a buck on The Binding of Isaac. Yikes, that's a disturbing game.
  2. Isn't the whole statement "Gamers are dead" just a literary device? I've always assumed, and the articles I've read seem to support my assumption, that it is simply a statement about the changing gaming culture where casual has supplanted hardcore.
  3. Females are strong as hell!
  4. I have been singing that dang Kimmy Schmidt song for over a month.
  5. RIPD - I had pretty low expectations going into this one, given the drubbing it got by critics. But it was actually a pretty fun little action comedy. Kevin Bacon was clearly having fun as the bad guy, and Jeff Bridges was entertaining as a Buffalo Bill Hickock impersonator. It was silly, sure, but I enjoyed it. Kind of a poor man's MIB.
  6. You guys only retain about 5% of what you are taught in history classes, so this isn't a huge surprise. Unless Feminism was an actual interest area, of course. Which given the way people talk on here, it would seem to be.
  7. I'm a fairweather basketball fan Leferd.
  8. Considering how active Fighter is in all these conversations, including the Feminism thread, it was a surprise. But hey, he went and looked her up, so I applaud that and I think it will strengthen his perspective moving forward. Historical context is important.
  9. I am busy making my mark as the latest phenom in MLB The Show
  10. I don't know who that is.
  11. The trouble with waiting is puberty is extremely traumatic for a person who is struggling with gender identity.
  12. Anyone who has researched the actual process involved in becoming transgender knows it is lengthy and complicated. It isnt someone just choosing to change genders, they undergo years of therapy first.
  13. I prefer: Big as a moderately sized lake. Deep as a moderately sized lake.
  14. Geez. It's like we lost some sort of bet and ended up saddled with a bunch of terrible new posters on this forum.
  15. It's like you guys don't understand what addiction really does to you.
  16. In about 5 years, he will look like this, making his game a bit more difficult:
  17. I think the fitbit is a better use of the wrist. I don't need my phone to be on my wrist because I want a decent sized screen.
  18. I think I'm being trolled. It seems as if you guys are congratulating the severe alcoholic who is wasting his life away.
  19. What? The guy is in a desperate struggle with addiction. He has a gift of charm, and he's wasting it away. Apparently Dr. Phil has sent him to rehab a couple times. That's a super sad story, how long do you think he can actually maintain such an existence?
  20. I feel like we already covered this before. Weird.
  21. I don't have a problem with Bethesda getting a reasonable cut of mod profits. They've created the framework after all. I don't have a problem with Steam getting a cut either. But it should be 10%, not some crazy high number.
  22. I just watched the most insane Warriors comeback to send the game into OT. Wow.
  23. There are some things I really like about Arrow, but man, they love to turn it into Dawson's Creek about twice an episode.
  24. I'm just assuming the first season is supposed to show him as somewhat of a novice. That way he can get more impressive as they move forward.
