To me, it's always going to be more like competitive fishing or bowling. Yes, you can make some good money at the top, but it is still primarily a hobby for most. Although it could grow to be as big as poker, if they can tap into any celebrity power.

Yeah, that's basically my issue with the series. Also, both of these fantasy worlds are super depressing. It would be nice if they lightened it up a bit. Plus the romance and sex stuff is stupid.

I've never really seen the appeal in a strip club. It seems like a waste of money. I'd rather take that and spoil my wife, the returns are better. My wife and I have talked about checking one out, but she'd rather go see a show. If I'm going to drop a hundred bucks to get touched, I want someone who will work out all the nasty knots I've got in my back.

I've actually been reading a pretty humorous chronicle about a writer who managed to convince a publisher to give him a $50k advance, so he could be a high roller in Vegas. Thompson while on his month long gambling odyssey. He interviews a bunch of locals, and gives some good details on a few of the games as well. It was a perfect primer for my upcoming trip.

So after 4 hockey games in the last 2 days, I'm a bit sore, but I managed to get out for a short run today. I've been trying to get some color as well, since my shirt tan line is usually fairly blindingly white, so I've been running shirtless. It freaks me out a little, and I tend to run faster than I normally do, which always hits me about halfway through the run. I think I'm trying to run away from my shame. But it is working, I no longer signal ships into the harbor when I take my shirt off. I'm ready for the pools in Vegas.

I'd consider basketball players better all around athletes than football players. Really, depending on your position, you do some dramatic things to withstand the punishment you will take in football. Basketball combines skill, strength, speed, endurance, etc. I'd throw hockey in the mix to, but I'm obviously biased.

Doovie critics need to be experts on technical aspects of filmaking? I think it helps to be knowledgeable, for sure, but the main requirement would seem to revolve around writing, not technical expertise. Now this guy might be a rubbish writer, I have no idea.

I have no idea what is in my ps4 or wii u. That is the luxury of them. Unlike my pc, which I research meticulouslyand troubleshoot regularly.

I don't know who the person is, do they only write about console stuff? You wouldn't really need to be all that well versed in the technical stuff if you were. Kind of odd to trumpet your ignorance on social media though.

It's always weird to me when people try to justify something by pointing out how bad other things are.

The insurance lobby ain't no chump, that's for sure. They made sure they will still get theirs. But I am not sure about the paying higher taxes if you stick with your previous plan. I believe that is only if your plan was previously lacking in some way and now you are incurring more costs. The problem is every employer and every insurance company is different, and can dictate different rules depending on their strength. Eh, all I know is that health care in this country is a mess and Obamacare seems to only make it messier.
