  1. The Sixth Sense is superb, so you are doing yourself a disservice.
  2. Dark, but hard to stifle that laugh.
  3. Hrm, writing is always a tough one to get over for me. I finally got into Elex lately, but man, the conversations grate on me. Overly wordy nonsense, abrupt translation, or both? I assume its the translation. I can't really judge if it is well written in the native language. Maybe it would be easier to listen to in German and then just have subtitles. I don't know, there is always a period of adjustment for me when dealing with stuff that was clearly not written in English. Good translations are not easy.
  4. Sweet, I have been putting off Yoga Fire for some reason, and now I will wait for TB.
  5. Hrm, writing is always a tough one to get over for me. I finally got into Elex lately, but man, the conversations grate on me.
  6. Also The Adventures of Handi Man. That one probably hasn't held up well in the current social climate.
  7. Which is worse, a bad call or a non-call?
  8. Is it any good?
  9. I would argue that it isn't a straight customer relationship, because it is also falls to the professor to hold you accountable for that information. You are paying for the credit as much as the lessons. The professor isn't just hired to serve the students, they are hired to create and implement a curriculum that will allow the school to give those credits. You then pay the school for that credit. Hopefully those credits are then useful to you in pursuit of a career or financial growth. That's one reason why tenure exists. In most service jobs, keeping the customer happy is a top priority. In education, it is secondary. Realistically if you are just in school for personal growth, you should have the financial flexibility to do so, because you are a hobbyist at that point.
  10. Yeah, I don't have a ton of sympathy for the Saints. You shouldn't be relying on the refs to make a call in order to win a game.
  11. I tell kids all the time about the importance and financial viability of trade schools. Also I talk up agriculture and the transportation industry. But nobody listens to the Social Science teacher.
  12. That would seem to be one of the few corners James Cameron cut then, because that movie wasn't afraid to spend money.
  13. Well there you go, somewhere out there is listening to you Volo!
  14. Got home from a long bike ride today to find my family had locked me out. Managed to get into the garage, so I am setting up an old roku box to an old tv while I wait for someone to get home.
  15. I could use the tenant, Gromnir.
  16. It works for women, aren't we equal and all that. This came across as insecure.
  17. Gillette put out a commercial telling manly men to not be ****, and so a bunch of manly men got upset. Because, you know, the manly reaction to such a request is to whine like a paradox.
  18. They have licensing fees to cover, I'd imagine.
  19. That actually makes me wonder if there isn't some sort of extra licensing cost at work there. Again, this is a special edition of a fairly niche product, so it's not like they are in it for the cash grab. Everyone knows you go mobile for that.
  20. That is pretty dang pricey. Does it at least include all the expansions? edit: Looks like it does. Huh, weird that the EE edition alone is only $20. Something wrong with that pricing system.
  21. That's kind of my point, they seem like the only team out there taking on these types of gigs. Or at least, taking them on and finishing them.
  22. Beamdog is working in a very niche marketplace, so I wouldn't worry too much about them swimming through piles of gold coins anytime soon. I've never understood the resentment they get.
  23. Daggerfall was randomized.
  24. I am sure they will return. Jordan Weisman is a genius, and that is one of his babies. I too was surprised at how well they captured the tone of the PnP game, but when you realize it is the original creator behind it, it makes a lot of sense. Next I just need to get Ian Currie to make another Jagged Alliance.
  25. Yeah I don't mean to say they are all a snooze, I just remember when it was all must-watch entertainment for me. Some have been great, but they seem to be the ones that break from convention. Just being a comic book movie is no longer enough. I loved Logan, and Deadpool is great because it satirizes all of it. But I can wait on most of this stuff that is showing up.
