The Board gets a facelift
hah.. this is turning into a popularity contest! Also I think we should rate people on how beautiful they are with a similar rating system - when they have a personal picture.. because it's not enough to have a rating system that tells you how cool and loved someone is .. you need to have a system that can tell you how good looking they are as well.. maybe we should rate individual posts as well? I think I deserve a minimum of 3!

A List of "Good DS" and "Evil LS" People
according to AD&D Kreia: Could be any Chaotic allignment, based on how you view her actions - I see her as a misguided Chaotic Good, which fell to evil from good and then became a kind of mix between the two in the end (without being a true Chaotic Neutral - those guys are just wacky) .. Mandalore: Clearly a Lawful Evil! he uses the mandalorian law to serve his purpose and what he sees as the ultimate "good" of his clan .. his loyal to his word just like any lawful evil would (unless they can brake the oath within the law). Hanharr: well he's loyal to his oath as well .. but since he is so insane he's a Chaotic Evil.. there's nothing left but a selfdestroying and misguided furball.. Mira: I would probably rate her as a Neutral Good .. since she's good and lawful, but still circumvents the rules from time to time.. Atton: is hard to place - but Chaotic Neutral is probably right.. Bao-Dur: Lawful Neutral - no doubt in my mind there.. using the shadow generator in an act of vengence is not a lawful good thing to do .. even if it was allowed during war! HK-47: he's Chaotic Evil - you got that right! ^_^ GOTO: absolutely Lawful Evil.. true as well! Handmaiden: Lawful Good - but turns Neutral Good if you influence her alot.. Disicple: Lawful Good - he's a boyscout to the core..

If 100 people needs to die to save 100000 people..
it works in the US because we simply spend more. [2] also, the myth is that increased income tax actually increases tax revenues 1:1... not true. low income tax and (relatively) high sales tax would do well. plus, the US doesn't have nearly as much government benefits as denmark. taks I don't think you spend more than us? at least when we divide the number of citizens with the overall amount spend.. unless of course you simply mean that you (as country) spend more due to the fact that you are more than us?.. [2] and I know it doesn't work that way, but we as you mention that's because of goverment benefists that taxes are so high... free health and a bunchload of other services are quite expensive..

If 100 people needs to die to save 100000 people..
and to think we are still some of the richest people on Earth is even more mind boggling.. ^_^ --- About the train: Did I forget to mention that you can't stop it? either you do nothing and 5 people die or you take action and 1 person die..

If 100 people needs to die to save 100000 people..
in Denmark we pay 25% in turnover taxes.. from food to cars and clothing.. and we still pay 50% in taxes on our income.. so it won't generate as much income as you might think..

Throwing out a question concerning AI
It's not all about greater numbers.. but if the enemy comes at you with 1000 swordmen 100 cavalry units aren't going to make it (even if they are the absolute best against that unit).. the good thing about TW is that while it's a scissors/rock kinda game (spearmen for cavalry - swordmen for spearmen etc) it's more about tactics.. if you manage to flank an enemy and generally play to best of your abilities you can be outnumbered 20 to 7 and still come out victorious.. and I can tell you nothing beats winning an impossible battle on wits and carefully planned strategy! it's tough though and requires you to utilize every advantage you can.. (on harder difficulties - you can easily win a 20:7 on the easiest setting once you know the game) You can also use diplomacy to great effect.. although brute force generally works best in TW games.. but there's not really a need for being sneaky - it's huge battles with thousands of soldiers on each side.. and more often than not you meet the enemy head on and take it from there.

If 100 people needs to die to save 100000 people..
I don't think anyone here morally disagrees with the 100 (red. Iraqies) defending themselves.. although many would probably disagree from either a political/religious or pragmatic viewpoint.. also a tougher moral dilemma usually involves the ones you ask and a tangible number of other people to sacrifised .. like this one: let's say you were in a control room in a trainstation - you suddenly see a train approaching a Y split - on one of the tracks 5 men are reparing a signal (all wearing headphones which means they can't her the train) and on the other track a single man is inspecting the rails (also wearing headphones).. none of them are noticing, or will notice, the approaching train.. the train will hit the five men unless you redirect it.. which only requires you to psuh a single button.. what will you do?

Europa Universalis III Demo
In a particular game I have; The Papal States, Genoa, Scotland and England respectively own Ireland.. I thought it was way too messy so I (as France) decided to conquer everything.. since being colourblind it's pretty annoying for me when the map is composed of a myriad of different colours... I personally think that's the main reason wars are fought.. people hate all those colours on the map..

I had to add this clip from the show.. it's.. I don't know what it is - but it's funny.. Chicken Factory

Europa Universalis III Demo
a day at a time.. but unlike HOI2 it doesn't take the hours.. depending on the time setting a day will last anything from 30 seconds to 0,5 second.. (at least that's the time setting in EU2).. so imagine how long a game spanning 400 years could take if each day takes 30 seconds.. (yes I know the results, you don't need to post it)

- Movies You Have Seen Lately
Saw Monster House.. pretty funny actually - it's a good family film because it so full of horror references (and many other kinds of cult fiction) so adults will have a good laugh.. and I bet kids will have a good scare (but feel relieved by the envitable happy end - even if it's not quite what you'd expected).. and the animations are really good - facial expressions are done extremely well, so characters really come to life.. overall =- AFTERFALL - the new FALLOUT ?
you hear that? no? never mind, it was just my expectations and hopes dying silently...- AFTERFALL - the new FALLOUT ?
The Fall hasn't even been released yet..- AFTERFALL - the new FALLOUT ?
the story of "The Fall" seems cool enough - but the fact that you are forced to serve the "new goverment" and it's mainly a combat game really puts me off.. a more openended RPG in that setting would be great though.. and how come all these games have something with "Fall" in them? (I'm guessing they trying to make us identify them with Fallout) - Movies You Have Seen Lately
