  1. ^ The birthrate is 1,7 in Scandinavia and 1,6 for the rest of the industrial world (on average).. We aren't really churning out babies in a higher frequency (unfortunately) - longer education is the main reason why these numbers drop and the winter here in the northern hemipshere is the main reason why it's higher! What age range are you in? X 18-24 __ 25-30 __ 31-55 __ 56+ Are you male or female? X Male __ Female Do you think overpopulation is a problem? X Yes __ No What do you think should be done to solve it? __ A maximum limit of children per family enforced by law. __ Colonization of currently non-habitable environs. X Nothing, new technologies will be developed to allow us to place more people in the same area without stripping the planet of its resources. __ Nothing because I’ll be dead by the time it’s a major problem. __ I don't think Overpopulation is a problem. Are you worried about this? __ Yes. X No. Do you think the dwindling social security fund is a problem? __ Yes. X No. What do you think should be done to solve it? __ It should be privatized. __ Create individual government maintained retirement funds. __ Hope the problem will fix itself. __ Nothing, it won’t affect me. X I don't think it's a problem Are you concerned about this? __ Yes. X No.
  2. no, it had a specific name.. though the gray master robes did give you a substantial charisma bonus.
  3. I could use a scotch..
  4. I would start out as light.. but I would probably fall to the dark side pretty fast.. I couldn't handle a power that allows me to influence what people think..
  5. Very interested! .. I hadn't heard about either of them! thanks for the info.. I'll have to keep an eye out for those.
  6. Hot chocolate milk ... mmmmm
  7. I've found most of the unique items during replays.. I remember one very powerful gray robe that made my Sith Lord totally wipe the floor with anyone (can't remember the name though - but it gave me fast force reg. +4 wis + 2 cha and a bunch of other usefull bonuses)
  8. After playing NWN 2 for a while, the Wendersnaven keeps being mentioned - and from it's desriction I couldn't help but to think of Lewis Carroll's The hunting of the Snark .. The Snark is a creature that a group of "adventures" sets out to find - but no one has any clue how it looks, what it is, or even where it is... Everyone has an opinion on it though.. They sought it with thimbles, they sought it with care; They pursued it with forks and hope; They threatened its life with a railway-share; They charmed it with smiles and soap. It might just be me that sees a link where none is though (the above has obviously nothing to do with the Wendersnaven of NWN, but nonetheless it described much in the same manor - no one really knows anything).. Edit: Random knowledge: Lewis Carroll uses the word "Vorpal" in his poem "Jabberwocky" as a decription of a deadly sharp weapon - which is the same in AD&D, which in turn let me to think that this Wendersnaven was a reference to his work as well..
  9. I wanted to work with people - like a psychologist or something to that extent.. then I wanted to be a lawyer (since I could always talk myself out of trouble) then I wanted to be writer/poet. In my life I've worked in rehabs, kindergardens, studied English for a while, went traveling through Africa.. Now I'm a Sales Representative (I don't know why).. I'm gonna study History and English in a few years and ultimately become a teacher (in a kinda unique Scandinavian school branch).. I've kept to true to the "work with people" though!
  10. hmm 0 now... it was 16.4 last time I checked! (and I haven't deleted them?)
  11. I'm a spider... an I have arachnophobia!!
  12. I'm playing NWN2.. Which I haven't been able to play until now - it kinda feels like KOTOR2 in D&D clothing so far (which is fine).
  13. Hairbrush.. comb.. damn! I blame my ever decreasing English vocabulary!!
  14. I had to touch up a bit on them in PS.. but most of it is the camera itself.. The funny thing is it's just a normal Canon 5 megapixel camera - but it was previously my brothers and he got some new software installed in it, which allows for all kinds of funky PS-like features.. I just take advantage of what is given to me! Statues are great to work with, since they are often quite lifelike - and also quite still , which allows you to experiment alot on what angles work the best in different light.
  15. Some pictures I took at a Museum. (different colour filters and contrast levels)
  16. Brunettes with curls - too many blondes here.. hmm come to think of it.. every girl I've ever dated was blonde (and no curls).. we need to import some brunettes..
  17. everything depends on how it's done. I'm just saying that due to the rather restricted gameplay of games you're always hinted quite heavily in certain directions - so as to make it feel natural for you to take that decision, since the game doesn't allow for you to have total freedom.
  18. no that's a Swedish girl right after the Swedish man is done with her...
  19. Accept the Gizka handler..
  20. This is your average Swede... (at least that's how I always spot them)
  21. number 6 is that mushy material you use in packages.. (in Danish it's called Flamingo) - (Edit: Styrofoam apperantly in English) the things in number 8 are the plastic ends of a comb for sure. I'm guessing that number 5 is the tip of a pen.. and number 7 is some kind of reptile's eye..
  22. Problem is most time that's the only clue you get (which is then added to your "to do" list, which in turn means it's important).. in real life you have like 10 leads and then you choose which ever you find the most likely to be fruitful. So you are still being 'led by the nose' very much so.
  23. A Diablo strategy game maybe?
  24. Some Cola before I went to bed.. I was dehydrated after dancing Swing for 5 hours straight and thought that would be the best solution to alliviate it. Right now I'm drinking a large glass of water - with some mild sedatives..
  25. I'm playing Medieval Total War - I just won the most exilarating fight I've experienced in a game.. more than 2500 fiercely elite mongols were attacking Jerusalem - and my Grand Crusader General (and his ca. 1000 troops) was the only thing capable of stopping them .. I had over 400 Crossbowmen raining death down upon them while my pikemen/spearmen were ready to great them once they had battered down the gates.. Jerusalems walls were splattered red in blood that day. Luckily most of it was of the enemy.. but unfortunately for me, this was just the first wave - five more armies are moving down, since a Jihad was called. The desert will be flooded with the blood of thousands of holy warriors.
