    What

hopefully for much higher numerical value than the one poor choice of a theme song.. I've heard that song so many times before! I just couldn't place it, but after a short search I've found that it's in a lot of films * Pi, 1998 * Requiem for a Dream, 2000 * World Traveler, 2001 * The Hole, 2001 * Knockaround Guys, 2001 * Abandon, 2002 * Murder by Numbers, 2002 * Sonny, 2002 * The Hire: Ticker, 2002 * 11:14, 2003 * Man on Fire, 2004 * Suspect Zero, 2004 * Sahara, 2005 * Doom, 2005 * The Fountain, 2006 * Trust the Man, 2006 * Sunshine, 2007 * Smokin' Aces, 2007 - not to mention a trailer to "The Two Towers" - great song and a very good pick for a theme song Hildegaard - Epic without being imposing...
  4. yeah see that's where I think it becomes a bit silly actually.. but it is a fictional universe - so who am I to say what is and what's not silly!
  5. I see your point, but I just felt connected to the movie in a very profound way - it was like seeing beauty in despair and remorse - and finding hope and purpose in such emotions. Almost makes we wanna go through the self-toture of seein Irrevisible again.. wait no.. that would be emotional suicide.. (great film - very cruel)
  6. I just can't stop thinking about that Southpark episode about Wow.. "Make Love not Warcraft" - seriously it get's me every time.. every prejudice I have about the game is exploited to death in that episode.. "But how do we kill that which have no life?"
  7. 2 years.. that seems almost surreal to me.. so many hours.. I'm definitely not getting a MMO anytime soon - I love life dammit! I'm not ready to leave yet!!

    What

that's actually a hard question... I have no idea - there's to many songs to choose, but none of which seem like the right choice.. Maybe something akin to a choir of hundred of voices chanting to a diety (me). yeah that would probably work just fine..

    Hi there!

I'm tempted to agree with you.. but mostly because that let's me off the hook.. I had some great teachers through primary though - and I still sucked at it.. So I can't blame it entirely on the teachers.
  10. see, that doesn't help my worries..
  11. isn't that the draw to WoW too? Yep, and I enjoyed WoW for a long time. LotR Online is the first game that's really on the same level in terms of ease for casual gaming, playability, and graphics. But I'm sure someone will come around and tell me how wrong my opinion is and that all MMO's suck. I've also stopped taking people seriously who trash WoW, and yet they have played the game up to level 60. Why did ou put in hundreds of hours if you hate the game? But I digress erhmm.. you'r wroneg and MMOs syck - cuz they are badz for teh eyes! I've always been too afraid to play MMORPGs - I might like them too much - and I have precious little time as it is!

    I've always hated that explainaton!

    Hi there!

tell me about it.. I'm pretty good at abstract systems and finding a pattern, which relates well to physics, but at the same time if it becomes too abstract (eg. pure theory), even if there is a clear pattern, I can't see the logical core. Which is why I fail so hard at math in general - and German (no room for being creative), while at the same time being quite capable of learning French quickly - illogical in a logical way - like Physics. I guess I'm mildly number-blind and have a dislike of rigid systems.
  14. The only thing I had any issues with was how the whole movie was down down down down down then you don't even get a happy ending. Just bittersweet. With how depressing it all was, it would have been nice to be uplifted a bit at the end. what? why? - not to sound like the depressed hordes of misbehaving teenagers with a Goth-complex, but it's great that movies are more than comedy and light entertainment - I actually thought it was a bit too Hollywood Don't get my wrong, I need my fix of happy endings too .. but once in awhile I want movies to explore some of the darker aspects of us ..

    Hi there!

differential equations was where I crashed and burned in the Gymnasium times.. I got an F in math from there on out.. I didn't understand any of it! Just couldn't wrap my head around that kind of mathematics. Never had a problem with either Physics, Chemistry or Biology, even though they contain quite some math themselves.

    Hi there!

Oh? You've got a problem with art or performance? We're gonna have some trouble then, because I'm definitely into art AND performing. But - as far as school is concerned, I'm doing a Bachelor of Computer Science. so, your like (or want to be) the architect behind games like "dance revolution" or something?
  17. Is it some kind of dating forum? because in that case it makes alot of sense..
  18. I'll probably stop playing.. I mean a horror game with graphics like that - or even a war game.. you'll be a nutjob in a couple of hours

    Hi there!

that doesn't sound like a reward at all..

    Hi there!

We should all give ourselves a pat on the back... Well done folks... Here's a cookie for everyone, now share nice. We should get a counter for number of newbies shot down to put into our profiles. but it's mostly a group effort - should everyone get a star then? or should we make a whole new kind of moderation team, that keeps track of newbies and who (really) chased them off? I'm for the idea though - it's good for overall morale to keep scores.
  21. and you would be fired in a few days for stepping over your boundries.. You must remember that gamedevelopers have fragile egos - if you came blazing in and tell them how wrong they are, they would feel bad - and the easiest solution would be to fire you.. You should take a more subtle approach, make them recognize the errors - without you ever mentioning them directly. That way, you get your will (a better game), while they don't feel like some smug from the street told them how things should be done.

    Hi there!

ahh a true classic.. didn't they make a reprise of that in the 80's?
  23. Just saw Stranger Than Fiction, "it somehow falls short of a masterpiece" someone wrote in a review - so very true. It's a diamond in the rough and the film is carried largely by it's attention to details. Magical in some places (painted clouds on a wall start drifting by) and tedious and slowpaced in other, but never in a way that ruins the film. It's that kind of movie you don't want to talk about, because you want others to experience the full effect without any expectations - guess I blew that. But in any rate I recommend it! Not because it's great or remarkable, but because it's ok - like some stranger smiling at you, which brigtens up the next hour or so of your life and leaves you wondering what could have happened if you had smiled back.
  24. Installing the Pacifier module on HK-47 is always priceless. "But Master, think of the kids!"
