  1. In an international company that handles various kinds of projects, but mostly in the field of communication. My deparment is charged with the administration and sales of products for a Danish telecommunications company. I mostly handle the sales, but I'm also involved with translations and QA.

Congratulations!! I can't even begin to imagine how different the world must seem to you now.
  3. Ha, I remember my time in a similar store - you really get to see the broad spectre of society. - Drama at my work yesterday - major layoffs and people quitting. Now the remaining people have started a small psychological war on managment and each other. But I guess that's to be expected when everyone have been uncertain for so long. Still all I can think about is how much this whole situation reminds me of sub-standard clich
  4. The facial expressions in Half-Life2 really blew me away. Those were some of the most groundbreaking graphics I'd ever seen. Plus the physics were astounding too.
  5. I would probably have to say Kotor2 or Dreamfall.. A really beautiful score in both games - but they main reason I mention those is that I don't remember the music from other games.

  7. The Stoytelling System, as I'm writing a big campaing for 4 friends these days. I find it's the easiest system for relatively new players to learn, while at the same time taking a longer time before you can powerplay it. Or the D&D 3.5 rule system - it's versatile and tested, meaning you can play a very wide variaty of settings in it. It has a big drawback imo though - as it's very thourough rules tend to make players less innovative in their roleplaying - and more focused on rules and stats.
  8. KotOR: TSL, of course. :D Right you are! (wow, I really haven't played these games in quite a while!) - Also I had such a weak computer last time, that all those special effects (like the screen blurring when you use Force speed) were disabled - it's almost like a new game. :D
  9. Plenty of programs, I've personally used DH Driver Cleaner - but any alternative would probably suffice.
  10. I feel appriciated enough - no need to spam.... more...
  11. did you make sure to clean the drivers first? because ATI Cataclyst have some small programs that aren't deleted if you just uninstall them - which could very well be the source of your problems!
  12. shesh - tough crowd! Rosbjerg make sure to keep a particular eye on kirottu I've been having my eyes on him for years..
  13. Thanks everyone.. I hope I'll be able to add somemore Danish charm to these boards this way. no perks, only pesky responsibility..
  14. now that's a trick question! and impossible to truely answer at that. but to humour the illusion I would talk to him, if only to learn more about myself, as he would undoubtly be a reflection of my mind.
  15. Just finished KOTOR1 .. found some new stuff as well- I guess I haven't played it as thoroughly as I thought. what to play next?
  16. Well when everything is based on rumors I guess it's to be expected that there are some misinterpretations along the way.. shame you had to cut it out though - it seems like a very central event to the understanding of these two important figures.
  17. that surely wasn't a sketch version - it looked very finished to me - but at any rate I had no problem with the cartoonish characters, they quite stylish, it is an animated show after all - and the effects were pretty well made imho. I'll look forward to the shows release.
  18. I found this browsing through the exstensive archives of You-Tube and was quite suprised that I've never seen it before - in case I'm not the only one I thought I would share it. I don't know what story elements were originally to be triggered for this event to happen, but it's a very interesting little video. I can only hope that it will featured in the TSLRP.
  19. Sure it does, if there is some medium for the radiated waves to travel through. Granted, if the water falls in a vacuum, then it's silent (though electromagnetic radiation certainly needs no medium), but in an atmosphere, well, the sound certainly travels, even if there's no-one there to hear it ... MU, yourself..
  20. Great! Can I get my extravagent lifestyle funded by the taxpayer now? what!? aren't you already!? what kind of princess are you?
  21. Omega drivers are quite good! I used them alot when I had an old Radeon 9200, they actually made the old card capable of running alot of modern games fairly acceptable - while the ATI Cataclyst drivers weren't able to push the card to it's limit. But uninstalling the ATI Cataclyst drivers are a pesky buisness! and I recommend some kind of cleaner program to get them all deleted, otherwise you'll experience some truely annoying problems (same goes for uninstalling Omega).
  22. People could be banned for misusing their power?.. I think it's an interesting idea, player regulated worlds are however hard to govern at best. And the potentiel for largescale misuse would deter most developers, which is understandable.
  23. I played Tales in the Desert for some time - it's a MMO that focus entirely on players creating the world - all buildings are player made, the minor "quests" were issued by other players (though only done by agreeing to do something for something - if they have something you need etc.).. Some where miners, if they had settled in an area with a mine - some were farmers, others were builders/carpenters. The only problem with the game was that it lacked a true purpose - there was an overall mission and important at that - but it was distant and required that every player in the game fufilled a part in the greater whole - which felt a bit too abstract. But I was really inspired by the game, as it focused entirely on players to create a dynamic world - also there was no combat what so ever - which of course meant that people with an iching trigger-happy finger steered quite far away from the game (bonus in my book). But as I said, the game unfortunately lacked a real purpose, which was why I ultimately dropped it - I mean, after harvesting my greenhouses for who-knows-what-time, I missed some deeper overarching story to drive me forward.
  24. Atton: "well, on the bright side, at least Alderaan doesn't exsist in this timeline!"
  25. yeah, intelligence - or awaerness - or wisdom - the thing is that while skills have an impact on dialouge options, as long as you have one or two of the important 3 ones (those mentioned) most dialouge options will be available to you.
