  1. that little innergeek I have actually thought it was pretty well made..
  2. or a Viking Broadsword.. about the same lenght.. The exact content of the file: - The Fountain 2006 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0414993/ An Inconvenient Truth 2006 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0497116/ - Random fact: BitLord contains adware. I know .. I sweep my computer daily.. but I'm too bored to find a better solutions - and ipsofacto it also says that the spyware comes from Torrenreactor, which I never use.. (so that diminshes the risk a little)
  3. It looks like your walking into a room lusting at your victim your about to kill with that viking sword. Yarr! Well, you're right on the first couple of accounts, but it's a Kukri instead of a Viking sword (which I would never be able to carry).
  4. Well since this happened Friday it's kinda cheating.. but it was a fun experiance.. I went to a disco here in Copenhagen, without any high expectations - Me and 10 of my co-workers were on the VIP guestlist because one of them knew the owner, but I didn't think much of it - I was about to get a suprise.. but anyway, we stood in line and was suddenly pulled out an escorted to a different entrance on the side, where a personal waitress escorted us through a Foy
  5. and there you have it..
  6. We can't go to way per say like America (through an election in Congress), no, but it's more than a economical agreement and closer to a federation of Nations. EU could appeal for it's members to participate, but never demand that they do. How the political members are elected varies and I must admit I don't know how other countries do it. Here in Denmark it's both politicians and the people that elect representatives through local and national elections, though most of the time political parties nominates a candidate, which is then elected (or rejected) by our "senate".
  7. "People know the price of everything but the value of nothing." I think its from that book, you are right it was an interesting read but way to homo erotic for my tastes. I mean seriously it was like subtle but still homosexual propaganda and such. Our teacher showed us the ending of the movie, pretty funny how horrible it was but the book was nice. It's full of those kind of kinda quotes.. Oscar Wilde was very modern for his time - which was his demise. Very homo erotic indeed, it's unfortunate that the first version was edited, the most common publication is a heavy modification and the homosexuality is very downtoned. I don't mind, he was gay and as such (especially in context of the time he lived in) it's very natural that he would want to potray it this way.
  8. 300 .. I never thought I would say this, but the serious parts of the movie (were people weren't being killed in various ways) were actually quite lacking compared to the action. The movie suffered from trying to be more than it was. A good film nonetheless and one I will fully recommend.
  9. yes that would be more than sufficient. But Iran would never do that, it would be the end of their reign and nation. They would loose everything and gain nothing, since no one would back them up. As long as they appear to be adhearing to international war (soldiers caught in national waters can be detained and questioned) they are in no risk of retaliation. But as soon as they break international laws they are in real trouble.
  10. I was looking at "The Picture of Dorian Gray" which is on my shelf, which I've never read.. So I took it down and decided to read it. Interesting read indeed! ^_^
  11. There's a huge difference between EU demanding a country to comply and EU going to war.. Iraq was threathend several times, when they refused inspectors to do their work, I realize this kind of situation is different, but I don't believe anyone is really interested in a war here. No one is that stupid, Iran would be thwarthed and we could leave immediately after, we wouldn't hold any moral responsibility to restore them like in Iraq. And both EU and The US are tired of war so it would take something much more radical than a hostage situation to provoke us to war. Jorian, you seem to forget the power of words and political means to an end. It's far more beneficial in these matters (in the long run) to use a harsh political tone than physical reprecussions. Especially since EU and US are trying to restore their reputation in these days (especially to their citizens), which Iran is, cleverly I might add, taking advantage of. We would loose more if we go to war and they gain international reputation by staving us off. They are trying to see how far they can push us.
  12. Usually these kinds of plans are simple at heart, even if their consequences are wideranging.. I personally think Iran wanted to show the west that they were dilligent in defending their territory and watchful of any movement within their borders and were probably waiting for a chance to detain some Coalition forces. This, they hope, allows them to have a slight upper hand in diplomatic negotiations, as they could justify it as a military decision instead of a hostage situation. It also takes focus away from their nuclear program and while they are putting themselves in a bad light from a western point of view, I believe many Middle-eastern/African and Asian countries (currently being "threathend" by American foreign policies) sees them as being vigilant against the growing power The US (in their eyes growing hunger for power).. Thus they send out a strong signal of power and defiance. But I'm sure that when Bush comes to shove, they'll hand over the marines in second. They are being held for political reasons and as political leverage, not as an excuse to ignite war and they won't loose face by handing the soldiers as long as they gain even the sligthest in return.
  13. you have to come to my ranch some day .. see the cattle, chickens and mermaids.. It'll be a hoot!

  14. Me.. smiling.. that's it..
  15. I think the WOF would be pretty clean from newcomers.. since it's a place that takes some adaption! in case of Obs closing, I would feel a little emptier inside.. It's the first and only board I've ever been part of for more than 2 months.. and it'll probably be the last as well..
  16. That could come in handy..
  17. this could be said about most good games.. I don't understand why this whole concept has become so popular! cartoons - sure.. but video games really have a bad track record in the movie industry.. Why they keep doing it eludes me, there's more money in making regular braindead action films!
  18. I've always thought that philosophy was too focused on the interpretations of words and ideas.. It becomes a bit anal when you discuss endlessly the precise meaning of the word "exsistence", but then I started reading some more - and suddenly I realized that philosophy helps the other branhces of science with definitions and helps with homogenization and interpretations of difficult concepts, that are otherwise difficult to explain. I now view ph like the foundation (and not just historically) on which other sciences build their theories and ideas.
  19. did she drop any good loot?
  20. and put on an armor that a 10 feet tall giant was just wearing.. -- People will repeat themselves endlessly when they run out of news/goosip/interesting things to say.. Things apparantly only happen when you are around (those orcs will stand in the exact same spot for days and days until you pass by) Graveyards all have silly inscriptions and will often contain zombies or other various nightcreatures at night..
  21. But anyway I think it's cool system.. it allows for us members to interact in a whole new way.. and with the addition of what feels like a really personal page - I suddenly find myself lurking around alot more profiles!
  22. a little..
  23. also known as the evil "Death Star" strike!
  24. That's because we are a such a popular pastry..
  25. in this case it was..
