  1. that sounds like a really good idea.. most kids would probably hate it though.. until later in their lives when they realize it was a great experiance..
  2. Fake guns - what are you talking about? the shopkeeper was shot in the shoulder.. while he injured all 3 robbers.. he got one close to the neck (not fatal) and the other in the thigh .. while the third escaped with a wound in the shoulder.. Respect for the man - "taking out" all 3 while only taking a shot to the shoulder himself.. but anyway - maybe we should focus on somewhat legal suggestions!?
  3. Good to see that you embrace the alternative lifestyle Taks! no one has any suggestions? any lines they wish to add?

he would rape you ten times over before you had the chance to do anythng.. ^_^
  5. Well, maybe this is the wrong crowd for things like this.. you have to be pretty openminded to find these suggestions worthile.. ^_^
  6. - Get up one hour before sunrise and enjoy the rays and beginning of a new day. - Insist on the beauty of any object - until that beauty becomes clear to you. - Be destructive and spiteful for one day - look back and regret, but cherish every moment. - Forgive everything. Just let it go. Respond to all things painful; "it's okay - you are my past and I accept you" - Be extra diligent at work for a day! so when the times comes and you get off, you won't be able to do anything but relax. Enjoy the prospect of every day possibly being like that. - Sit near a busy street, no matter what the weather is like, and look at people. All of them have a life - try to understand and comprehend that. - Draw how you life feels at this moment. - Get so drunk that you can't stand, let alone walk, just once in your life. - Give food to a homeless person. Think of where you wouldn't want to bring him to eat - and take him there. - Think of everyone you care about. One by one - don't stop until you smile - then proceed to the next person. Keep doing it until you are so happy that you can't sit still. - Invite someone over (just one) and make a delicious dinner with more food that you could possibly eat. - Go to a Disco and dance horribly. If you are pretty, put on ugly clothes. Forget vanity and remember how to be happy without it. - Quit your job. - Go to a public park and take a nap. - Go on vacation to a place you've never heard of - without finding out anything else but the name. - Pursue your dreams without regards of how likely you will succeed. - Get married. - Paint you loved one with watercolours. Everywhere. - Meditate half an hour everyday right after breakfast. - Turn off every electronic for a week. - Spend half an hour smelling yourself. - Stay awake until you hallucinate. - Sleep as long as you possible can and then stay in bed until you fall asleep again. - Smile and great everyone who looks at you for an entire day. A friend and myself have compiled these small "quotes" by asking several people for random advice - and making up some ourselves.. We plan on making some small pamphlets and then pass them out on the street - just to do something special - in hope of spreading some joy.. are they good? thoughts/ideas? - Rosbjerg
  7. I don't think people throw themselves over each other when laser beams are involved - I would try and keep my distance while swinging hard at them using the entire length of the blade! that way, if it went through, it would still cut them without loosing my balance and falling on their blade..
  8. hasn't suffered - no .. but some made it through better than others!
  9. Turrican.. hmm.. that reminds me of something! ahh yeah.. Turoc the Dinosaur Hunter! good game.. ^_^
  10. a lightsaber creation feat? that wouldn't be necessary as part of the initiations into Jedi Knighthood requires you to build your own Lightsaber - so in effect every Jedi (and Sith) would have that feat automatically.. But it says somewhere in both KOTOR games that the red crystals are a bit unstable - they payoff is that it is capable of sometimes breaking through other beams.. which is why I would guess some Sith use them.. quite nifty to simply swing through your enemies blade!
  11. definitely Star Forge - it felt much more like a climax to the arch of the story! and it had a clear epic feel.. from the alien design to the huge rooms with beautiful details.. Where Malachor felt really bland and uninspiring..
  12. I think people would've recognized that he had far superior (at least numerical) forces rather than claiming he was a military genius.. Especially since his tactics were simple and crude.. He would be seen as a strong leader, but not an intelligent one..

hehe.. no wonder he slept for 2 days! that quite an accomplishment.. imagine if the situation had been reversed though... one female breaking in to a pen of 24 males..

so people who become addicted to video games are really lonely individuals who can't cope with reality.. and thus finds comfort in the clear-cut world of Video-games?
  15. It fails to keep the mystery it's trying to uphold.. and comes off as a movie more about drugs than an actual story.. like a cross between Waking Life and Requiem For a Dream.. where the story goes out the window like in Waking Life (but still feels cool) and like in RfaD, speculates on the degredation of the human mind when we succumb to our weaknesses.. and after the seeing the movie I couldn't understand why they choose the title A Scanner Darkly .. a few dialouges briefly touches on the subject "what does a scanner see?", but that's about it.. the movie is far more about what we choose to see..
  16. I didn't really like Ravenholm.. but that's because it was so damn spooky!! so in all fairness I would have to say it was one of the better parts of the game.. as I could barely play through it (I really hate, as in I'm really scared of, zombies)
  17. I'm thinking that the designers were a bit careless in their research.. or used a picture of Mark Hamilton where he's blond to model after.. and probably never noticed, or simply didn't care to correct their mistake.. Action Figures sometimes get shipped with warped colours - I think that whatever machine colours the little buggers sometimes distribute a different colour than the designers had in mind .. especially if several colours are mixed to create the desired one.. I'm guessing that's what happened.. But I don't think you'll find anyone who knows for sure here..
  18. because those who made him were colourblind.. or maybe he dyed his hair often to confuse his enemies? who knows.. but more importantly - who cares? (no offence intended - just wondering why something as trivial as the colour of hair on LEGO figures bothers you)
  19. have any of you tried morphine?? when I had that skiing accident last year I was on it for 4 days .. I could easily see how anyone could get addicted to that! it transforms the worst pain into a delightful tingle.. and when it hits your brain everything feels pure and nice.. actually quite a scary experience!
  20. 50 quickies in a day? .. ouch! (as in nasty physical pain) you need more than stamnia for that.. you need a high pain threshold!
  21. Xena!!!!11
  22. My demo worked yesterday - but today it says "Pixel Shader 2.0 or higher is required"
  23. hey I understood that.. I guess my German isn't as crummy as I thougth..
