  1. I walk to the bar and through the window I see a man running towards a women.. apparently he's trying to kiss her with his teeth - and failing miserably.. Jeez people are so desperate these days - and without any sort of tact what-so-ever! Obviously this place is not classy enough (I think to myself).. I see a guy putting on an eskimo costume further down the street.. That's too wierd to not go look at. So I walk down the street.
  2. I'm tired from pushing all the women and children away. And also quite disturbed by the fact that some guy was following me earlier, urinating on everyone I'd toppled over.. I find a sail boat, but suddenly remember I have no idea how to navigate a boat. The bar around the corner seems quite lively, alot of screaming and tequila drinking.. So I head there.
  3. I'm heading for the harbour.. pushing aside women and children.
  4. I saw Southland Tales earlier this year and was actually quite impressed, it's really wierd and I completly understand why most people hate it. I think you need to have an affinity (beyond healthy) for the absurd.
  5. Didn't they say it would never be released? Something about the gamedeveloper thinking it would be too troublesome to make the game playable on both high-end and low-end computers.
  6. I've been riding camels, if I combine my desert trips, for 30 days - 20 days through the Sahara Desert and 10 days through the Thar Desert. and I did no "vindictive flogging" during either trips.. which is the amazing part.
  7. Dark side is easier combat wise imo, also because you get so much more money that way, you can buy good equipment early on. Plus almost all your powers deal alot damage. Not that going lightside is hard though. With Stasis and all the buffs you are pretty nasty with your lightsaber.
  8. Ugh. Beatles. Or is this a pun? just roll with it.
  9. I saw Radiohead last week at Roskilde.. and Muse the year before that - they are superb live!
  10. you know, I totally forgot about that but yes, of course this would create alot of resistance, even from women imho - since forcing equality doesn't equal equality.
  11. haha I knew something was wierd about the Finnish people..
  12. Yesterday with The Beatles
  13. My brother was working as an industrial designer at a Danish research center devoted to alternative energies. He helped design the first hydrogen gas stations in Denmark which will start being build this year and the goverment has approved that public vehicles in a number of towns will be hydrogen fueled when they are operational. The company is also close to perfecting hydrogen stored in dried tablets, which will be used as fuel. A very viable alternative energy source for transportation according to the people working there.
  14. pretty nice video. I've always wanted to do that in a game ever since I saw the first few minutes of The Matrix.
  15. thanks for tuning in on Game-Talk-Time "GTT" on 118.3 FM. Todays guest speaker is "Sand" who will be answering "Mass Effect" questions for frustrated gamers all over the world.
  16. In Norway they've started a system where they are forcing companies to hire female board members and CEOs. I don't know the legal works behind it, I'm sure one of our Norwegian friends could enlighten us, but I think that's an interesting (albeit a bit drastic) attempt to force equality.
  17. Hey UnknownRegions, and welcome. Let me just elobrate on Bass-GameMaster's remark. Reason why we prefer single posts is that it tends to clutter the topic too much if people multi-post - as in 2-3 posts in a row. There's an "Edit" button underneath your post, so you can always add more (or remove some content) if you wish.
  18. it took me like 20 seconds to complete..
  19. Minor spoiler question:

I don't have the old audio file and I couldn't find the old thread either and by the time I get home to make a new one the thread will have moved on. And it's actually my last name. It's gonna be very difficult to tell you how to pronounce it and I haven't met a native English speaking person being able to do so. The closes thing would be like the "Ro" in "Rock" and then a soft "s". The "Bjerg" is a bit difficult to explain. the "Bj" as you would say it, is pretty close, but the "erg" is to hard for danish - it would be closer to a "bj-yeah" so "Ro-s-bjyeah" is probably as close as we can get. Still it's nowhere near.. if you guys really want it, I'll make an audio file later today when I get off from work?
  23. I worked at a rehab. While I can't say that I did something awesome, I contributed to help more than 10 people, while I was there, out of an addiction that had plauged them for decades and now 5 years after, they are still clean and 3 of them have started the journey to a college degree. It's something I'm quite proud about.
