The irony (or perhaps the genius part of it) is that they are actually making the hug that much more sexual by getting people to worry about whether or not it is.. Kinda like telling a group of people *not* to think of a pink elephant.. Which of course they will. But maybe that the point I wonder. The whole sales pitch of religion is sin, if the congregation wasn't sinful they wouldn't have a reason to use the church to confess their sins, so perhaps it's a rather ingenious way of getting devoted Christians people to get even more worked up..

I had a funny bug with her too.. I killed her in our first battle, so it was a little wierd to have to kill her all over again.. especially since I took her head of the first time!

We hear about it, but only in a very shallow way.. and only in the context of what happened elsewhere and in the relation to slavery. It's like the American revolution of indepence, it's an important thing to know of, like the French revolution is as well. I'm sure it's treated in much the same way as specific European historical moments are treated in America.

Yeah this is silly, but didn't your national/local media give you a rundown on the Lisbon treaty? This move has been in the works for a few years now, it's not exactly surprising.. I agree with the alarmbells regarding nobility though, that sounds a little too monarchy'ish to me! Next treaty will probably institute a European Emperor.. that would be beautiful wouldn't it?

I find no pleasure in your reading your posts Illuminator, you are twice as prejudiced against Christians as I've ever seen anyone here in Europe be against Muslims.. and that's saying alot as we have some quite bigoted people.. First of all, an atheist is not a christ atheist, the term is contradictory, they simply do not believe in any God.. second, you claim that everyone in the west is a Christian Crusader, I personally find that extremely insulting. I'm very happy that your views are only represented by a dwindling minority in Muslim communities, I know a good deal of wonderful Muslims and luckily none of them have so narrow-minded views on everyone who is different and I know a good deal of wonderful Christians too, who are equally open minded and strangely the two groups get along just great when they meet.. I wonder who it is that keeps all the hate going? The irony of it all is that you are exactly what you hate the most.. I really hope you see it some day.

It's too responsive and feels more suited for consoles.. in the original you had some "blur" in the movement causing your aim to keep some of the momentum, just enough for it too feel natural. Now it stops immediately, which feels unnatural.

I had the same problem and mine was the Physx setting that somehow screwed up.. I found an installation online and upgraded it separately which helped, but not much (from 5 fps to 15 or something). I just got through that level and after that the game went smooth again.

I heard a funny story that the prohibition of Cannabis started in the late 18th century, where certain elements of the very rich and powerful ropeindustry around thw world (for warships) were tired of the new wonder ropes from America being made from cannabis, and wanted to kill off the competition by making it illegal to grow.. I don't know if it's true, but it's a good story none-the-less.. There are a lot of myths surrounding Cannabis, but don't think for one second that it is completely harmless, because that is foolish. I worked at a rehab for a while and saw first hand what effects smoking can have on you, it's only a small percentage that experience severe problems (much like with alcohol), but they get more *****ed up than most other mild drugs. Things like total degredation of the short-term memory, an eternal high that never goes away and a withering of minor parts of the frontal lobes, which makes planning and motivation extremely difficult, are quite common among the worst effects. So while I want it to be legalized as well I want people to know the truth as well, it's not a killer drug, but it's not completely harmless either.

Apparently the game is getting hammered by the players and getting good reviews by the big sites.. One massive complain seems to be that without dedicated servers, cheating is running rampant and destroying the multiplayer experience. Since the singleplayer experience is only around 4-6 hours, people don't feel they are getting their money's worth.. Gamespot <- by the time of me posting this the user reviews are around 5.4/10 on average, while the "professional" ones are 9.1/10.

I don't remember the details. Though my decision was to agree with Morrigan's request. I imagine that if you don't, there's not much difference in dialogue. When I quickly made it to that scene in a hacked/speed playthrough where I warped to that part, her lines were spoken with much more indifference for her request. I couldn't get a romance with Leliana going, so I went over to Morrigan and asked if she wasn't ever lonely in the big forest.. that made her go from "friendly" to "caring", even if the approval number was the same. So my guess is that you have to trigger a specific dialouge that "flirts", I think this is true with everyone. Like saying you approve of the elfs homosexual tendencies. I had also done her quest, so maybe that is necessary.

Bad idea Kaftan, because companies will then be a lot more reluctant to hire new people, which will hurt the economy more. It's naive to think EA just takes away 1500 employees for the profit of it, it hurts production and morale when you do mass firing and that'll hurt your buisness more. It's really only something you do when you have no other option, even if you are making a profit.

Apply the RAM before loading? I've found loading times to be a bit wonky at rare times, I usually only experience around 2-8 seconds of loading, but sometimes it'll take around a minute.. this is usually if I enter a shop and then quickly leave again.

A bard and an Assassin with 2 mages can definitely destroy everything as well.. The bard can stun enemies with a special ability that renders the bard immoble. Enemies just going in and out of stun after that it seems, the assassin (or is it rouge?) has an ability that causes automatic critical when opponets are stunned - meaning you take down most encounters in no time.. Couple that with petrify and cone of cold from the mages and you have a shattering experience for your misfortunate opponents.
