  1. vast improvement?? I looks almost exactly like the original, only with slightly better graphics and it seems the enemies responds a little to being hit now, that really the only difference I see..
  2. Okay, we've arrived at spam central.. Everyone off, this bus isn't going any further..
  3. Amazing how something so simple can turn so many.. I find myself respecting EA for this.. This might be the final sign before the end
  4. Aliens goofy yes, CG dodgy no. The CG was some of the best I've seen. First time I saw the trailer to Avatar I actually believed they were making some wierd WoW/Starcraft mixfilm.. They look like nightelves..

I personally liked the last parts of F3 (post Broken Steel) a lot more than the beginning, I liked that what I did made a visible difference on the wasteland.. It's great running around and worry about ammo, but I really loved using the ninja suit and stealthing.. Sneak up to a Brahmin and press E I think.. not so interesting, but somewhat fun..
  6. Definitely, It's like half price compared to what I can buy it for.. But can you gift an american copy to Europe?
  7. He didn't create life though.. he "merely" transplanted it, which is interesting too, but not as grounbreaking. Is it morally right? well that's not for me to decide, I see no problem with controlled experiments though, I would however have a problem with companies and private firms creating artificial life in the name of profit.
  8. That was priceless! I'd have to agree, great story..
  9. Ironically it's rather easy to find water in the desert.. if you dig enough.
  10. Who doesn't sabotage themselves from time to time? I'm a pretty bad case myself, I've flunked classes simply because I decided I could use my time better at home than in school and ended up having to do a whole year of highschool over because of it.. I'm even forced to retake some classes now (6 years later), because of my halfassed work back then, to get into university next year..
  11. That could work.. even if it is cheating
  12. I could imagine that if you introduced a limit, people would pay less overall.. As a reaction if you will, to an arbitrary limit. I think that would actually backfire, but that's an assumption, I have nothing to base it on.
  13. I don't think anyone has anything against it.. I just hoped people would generally pay more (like 5$), as that would maybe validate this distrubution for the future.
  14. Well looks like people are paying a lot less in general than what the game is worth.. a shame, but that was certainly a likely outcome.. Too bad that this will probably kill off some of the interest in selling games this way. We consumers don't really know how to act in a way that's beneficial in the long run, do we?
  15. Neither have I, but the Dragunov killed everyone with one shot as far as I remember.. God I love that rifle!
  16. Well, try it out then - it's only 10$ (in Europe at least)..
  17. Mostly that it seems pointless and that most of the major mods, which most of them use, don't support it either. So they can't play the expansion unless they play vanilla, which they won't.. I've skipped it because I don't really care about playing the Indian nations, but I guess for someone that might it could be an interesting campaign?
  18. That's a brave concept and it goes to show how succesful they've been.. I hope this turns out to be a profitable way of selling games, it could be interesting if it became a more common practice.
  19. You will burn in the fire of purgatory! or fall into Oblivion or something.
  20. Napoleon made his coup d'
  21. Foolish if you ask me.. They are assuming that we will continue to use the current systems indefinitely. One of the comments on the page you linked to gave a good suggestion, instead of using binary we could simply use the colour spectrum, which would allow a much wider varity than 1s and 0s and thus a faster computation.
  22. That's cold.... but she did deserve it..
  23. I'll just merge those triple posts for you and conclude that you watch too many films!
