I hope you dont need a save for that. I'm not leveling Gerald to 50 again just to play a DLC.

Should I get uncharted for PC. Never played any of the console titles.

Regarding AMD vs Nvidia it's fair to remember that Nvidia is consistently better at performance per watt whereas AMD is consistently pushing their chips right to the edge resulting in very power hungry cards. Anyway it's best to have no brand loyalty and just judge each chip lineup on its own merits.

Yeah nobody likes the Batmobile very much so far. Waiting for AMD to weigh in in september was it. I wonder how genuine their 'VR' rating numbers are

Looks like an m16 to me. The airsoft version. Or the airsoft version looks exactly like the real thing.

umm... as someone who has actually experienced the 80s I emphatically disagree with all the nostalgia. none or pathetic internet, stadium rock, converse, svenskerhår , cassette tapes (those were cool though so nevermind)

Today might have been the first day of summer. Thank you global warming. Celebrated by buying an expensive lamp. Now I have buyer's remorse, and a nice lamp.

I was hopeful, untill I saw him all laid out like Frankenstein on the table, then it was obvious he was comming back with witch magic rather than as some sort of animal. What I wouldn't give to have Charles Dance back and emo Lord Commander out. Roose Bolton seemed like a thoroughly depraved individual, he was the one who orchestrated the red wedding, not someone who would not see a crude plot like that forming a mile away.

They are going to ruin it with leveling and multiplayer like all the other games like it, you can count dying light here. lv19 can't use a lv 20 crowbar, I have no time for that anymore. Multiplayer with matchmaking and no server browser is potentially fun but rarely ever in reality, add to that all the tropes that are hallmarks of a multiplayer design, none of which are any good for immersion. meh..

I suppose I'll give it a go. Feels like they are in no way changing their minds about making it a platform for DLC ripoffs though. Chaos bit them in the ass so they had to give it away for free, but other races, these are still things you are going to need, not cosmetics and more than likely they will be 19,9999 £ a piece.

The format is starting to grind on me a bit. Ever since the beginning it's been 15 mins here and 15 mins there with an occasional special episode like the siege of the wall and Kings Landing. 15 mins is long enough to yank you away just as you are starting to get interested in that storyline. I think I'll wait until I have a handful of episodes to catch up on.

You can't let cosplayers ruin steampunk for you, that's absurd. Anyway there is more than one way to skin a cat. It's basically just reimagined technolgy, Bioshock infinite, Dishonoured, Arcanum, whathaveyou, that is heavily influencing the setting. I'm all for a properly themed historical setting where Lenardo Da Vinci/Benjamin Frankin/Nicola Tesla don't show up as questgiving NPCs by the way.

So the whining and popping stopped. Now the fans just go all the time in games and it's cooling itself enough not to make extra noise. The fans are kinda annoying since everything else in the case is new and operating quietly and effectively, but since they only go in games I'm usually blasting sound out of my speakers or headphones anyway. I wonder why it took so long to change its mode of operation.

Anyone have a better suggestion than the 750 W version of this ? http://www.seasonicusa.com/G-series-450-550-650.htm

My PSU started making a lot of noise in games having installed the GFX card, it's drawing more power obviously and the components are making vibration and popping noises, it sounds like an analogue modem or something, regarless of whether the fans are going. This must be the dreaded coil whine and It's much more noticable than with my previous GPU. No fix for that other than getting another.
-
Well, I paid more for that SSD than the GFX, I'm getting the heatsink version of the PCI 3.0x4 mode card for the m.2 and I will be laughing maniacally while loading everything seconds before everyone else !!!
-
I did not expect to be able to run out of PCIe lanes and effective x16 speed at all, but apparently that's quite doable while adding an m.2 to a PCIx16 slot. because of the way the MB swaps around bandwith. http://superuser.com/questions/1020268/does-m-2-ssd-card-mess-with-pci-express
-
went with that r9 380 because 2gb texture ram on the tgx950 didn't seem like a lot.
-
That's not actually helping his self confidence as much as the complete opposite. Don't do that kids.

Saw a thread where a guy had tried both the m.2 slot and the PCI card with a board in the same family as mine and the latter was faster. Also the PCI 2.0 slot is only x1. From what I can se there are 5 long slots in my board , 2 PCI 3.0 , 2 PCI 2.0 and a legacy PCI. Also two short ones, PCI 2.0x1 Those are the ones sharing a bandwith with the M.2 slot.
-
I'm getting slow m.2 results. About 1/3 of what I expected in Crystaldisk. Board supports Sata6gb and PCI mode but states that these may be CPU dependent. I can only chose PCI mode in the bios. Maybe that's because the card only does PCI, not sure. The slots the m.2 slot shares bandwith with are pci express 2.0, and the m.2 card supports PCI express 3.0x4. I can only suppose this is the bottleneck. Can I use a PCI extention card with the m.2 disk in one of the PCIex 3.0 slots, would that help ? Edit : the answer appears to be yes, I was worried that there was a controller chip in the mix or something making it impossible unless the MB supported it.

They just used the opportunity to vote no to the EU, it's not like anyone had a clue what a 1000 page trade agreement contained. the EU is suffering a PR low because of the refugee crisis.

Bizzarely the fans make more noise in intervals once every 20 mins or so for approximately 30 seconds with the temp steady at 28 degrees than they did when I set the CPU to 100% for 3 - 5 minuites. Maybe something is just having a hard time accepting that the CPU fan is at 400-470 rpm and thinks something is wrong. During the stress test the CPU got to 32 degrees and was likely still rising when I closed it, but rising very slowly. I'm well pleased that it could stave off CPU temps for so long. EDIT> nevermind. Opened the case and stuck my ear to the board, it's the power supply doing that. Don't know why I'm running the case open and obsessing about every little noise lol.
