I would not say that, that link to their 'wiki' is totally useless, Paradox done it much better The in game wiki is pretty useless. Loads too slow and the information is poorly presented. I can't see all the pertinent details without scrolling.

I\m starting to understand that the reason I keep losing my campaigns (hard or very hard) There is not really a substitute for upgrading all your cities in a province. I would chase after raiders and invaders with my big stack with my best general and rarely ever catch up. You can't use the terrain to block off access either, maybe the engagement range is increased for ambush mode ? many races can use the underway or boats to get to their objective so it becomes impossible to engage without being the attacker, and that's a real challenge depending on your difficulty. The crucial first step is engaging your enemies provinces that aren't your own, so you can have a resource base that isn't constantly being raided.

Are there siege defences, maybe there are and my walls have just invariably been destroyed by eneny agents whenever that was supposed to have happened.

I doubt very much that a 'better deal' will emerge from trade negotiations. Once the UK leaves they can re enter the common market on their own terms, like Sweden and Iceland for instance. There is no indication that this would better her situation or make up for the losses of leaving. It's populism pure and simple. The unpopularity of the enormous bureaucracy, the refugee crisis, the sense that jobs are being lost because 'foreigners' who are more attractive to employers are being hired in a number of industries. They might manage to elect Boris Johnson PM but we are all going to lose on the deal. If it were a pressing matter of principle why haven't they left 10 years ago.

We are still wheeling from an economic recession, weak growth everywhere. A paltry 1% in Denmark last year and the English want their freedom. Can't have that, too costly. The scaremongers have oversold their point, lets just hope people understand that there actually IS a point and a serious cost to just picking up and leaving.

The battlemaps seem a little small compared with Total war. I havent played any sieges yet but those had fleets and infrantry converging. I'm expecting the same. So far the setup seems to be engage immediately, no attempt to make use of terrain during deployment. No terrain to speak of at all actually other than 'the high ground' but it's early days. I'm expecting objectives and maneuvering, buildings that can be occupied. Weak selection of units. This being warhammer and all we want hundreds rather than 10 or so once everything has been upgraded. The models are so so. The orcs in particular are ugly. Ugly as in bad design, not really their fault, there are a lot of bad waaarg models. I just feel they could have looked at the huge potential from the model painting scene and picked better ones for reference.

Looks very warhammerish. I assume there is city and region management like in Rome TW once the tutorial releases its clammy hands off my units and choices.

ohh allright I'll bite. Installing now. I've gotten very little mileage out of my game purchases lately, hoping for a better outcome.

Is this both the warhammer and total war game we have been wanting ?

Theres a fallout DLC out in 2 days. A propper one this time with a new area. Point Lookout part two by the looks of it. Not so sure sure about any of of them. Bethesda seems to have lost their Fallout mojo. Can't put my finger on it exactly but I don't think I will be installing it again.

It's supposed to be a lot better now than the early oculus SDK, but yeah one should definitely try one out before thinking about getting one. As for the mainstream breakthrough. I dunno, still waiting for the AAA VR titles. We kinda needed someone to come up with a handful of killer apps that would drive adaption. So far it hasn't happened.

Just downloaded torment tides of numenera
Gorgon replied to Kingsman's topic in Computer and Console
I'll play it when it's done, whenever that is. I've had enough early access to last me a lifetime. -
Too expensive for me so far, says the man who just spent 1200 bucks on an Ipad.

Kick his seperatist ass
-
I hope you dont need a save for that. I'm not leveling Gerald to 50 again just to play a DLC.
-
Should I get uncharted for PC. Never played any of the console titles.

Regarding AMD vs Nvidia it's fair to remember that Nvidia is consistently better at performance per watt whereas AMD is consistently pushing their chips right to the edge resulting in very power hungry cards. Anyway it's best to have no brand loyalty and just judge each chip lineup on its own merits.

Yeah nobody likes the Batmobile very much so far. Waiting for AMD to weigh in in september was it. I wonder how genuine their 'VR' rating numbers are

Looks like an m16 to me. The airsoft version. Or the airsoft version looks exactly like the real thing.

umm... as someone who has actually experienced the 80s I emphatically disagree with all the nostalgia. none or pathetic internet, stadium rock, converse, svenskerhår , cassette tapes (those were cool though so nevermind)

Today might have been the first day of summer. Thank you global warming. Celebrated by buying an expensive lamp. Now I have buyer's remorse, and a nice lamp.

I was hopeful, untill I saw him all laid out like Frankenstein on the table, then it was obvious he was comming back with witch magic rather than as some sort of animal. What I wouldn't give to have Charles Dance back and emo Lord Commander out. Roose Bolton seemed like a thoroughly depraved individual, he was the one who orchestrated the red wedding, not someone who would not see a crude plot like that forming a mile away.

They are going to ruin it with leveling and multiplayer like all the other games like it, you can count dying light here. lv19 can't use a lv 20 crowbar, I have no time for that anymore. Multiplayer with matchmaking and no server browser is potentially fun but rarely ever in reality, add to that all the tropes that are hallmarks of a multiplayer design, none of which are any good for immersion. meh..

I suppose I'll give it a go. Feels like they are in no way changing their minds about making it a platform for DLC ripoffs though. Chaos bit them in the ass so they had to give it away for free, but other races, these are still things you are going to need, not cosmetics and more than likely they will be 19,9999 £ a piece.
